Breakfast was good! Wifi was weak in my room but good down in the dining area.
Everything was fine, no problems at all.

De ligging is ok. Rustig gelegen. Op wandelafstand van een mooie kust. Ook op wandelafstand van een deel van de stad. De uitbaters zijn zeer hulpvaardig en vriendelijk.

The positive point at Vivenda Viviani is the swimming pool, even if it is not a big one. You appreciate it after a day walking in Praia... The location is quiet and there are a few restaurants and small supermarket not too far.
The room was big, the shower was good. The breakfast was good (but not exceptional).
We did not understand why we were installed at the top floor, which is the hottest, as there were many free rooms. Maybe to be all together. It was very hot and we were not proposed a fan...
It was not that easy to communicate, except with the daughter of the family as she can speak English.
Maybe because the Guesthouse was ( almost) empty, it was not easy to see the owner and we had to ask for a fan, for toilet paper... it was not very "proactive" if we can tell it like that.

Almost everything, except for one detail...
It would be better if they had wifi in the bedroom!

Clean basic accommodation with private bathroom. Breakfast included.
There isn’t internet in the rooms, the only place it works is in the reception it doesn’t work for iOS, router looked very old, needs an upgrade.
If you’re a digital nomad I don’t recommend this place.
Also the shower cubicle needs proper protection because only a shower curtain is not going to refrain the water going into your room which happened a few times while there.
When I went to pay for my stay the owner charged me for an extra 3% because she said I was paying with an international Visa card, in Cape Verde. Only after I left the property I realised that this extra wasn’t anywhere in my receipt, a lawyer informed me it was illegal what she did.
That money went somewhere as it wasn’t part of my bill. If this happens to you, refuse to pay it if it’s not mentioned on your online receipt.
I’ve exchanged some messages with her after this occurrence and she wasn’t very sure on how payments work or how you need to present a clear breakdown of costs in a receipt that you are going to give to your customer.

Quiet neighberhood
Easy to take a taxi
Nice restaurants close by (15 minutes walking)
The distance to the city centre.
The breakfast was very simple.
The owners did their best to communicate with us but didn't speak any English
