A long ride to get there, but beautiful surroundings
Takes many hours in the car to arrive at the place and from there a lot of driving to reach some hotspots

Very good value for money. The place is in good location, very nice scenery - near peak, waterfall and beach. surrounded by sheeps.
We were out of season, so place was calm.
Kitchen is very good equipped. Several shared bathrooms and common spaces as well , so no problem to find free.
Very clean.
Rooms are quite small.
And we were in the middle of October, so it was a bit chilly at arriving, but all places are equipped with heaters, after turning the on it was ok :)
Regular rooms are a bit small (opening 2 big suitcases was fun). but that's it, all was really good :D
Will be happy to come back

I loved everything about my stay here. I got a room with a beautiful view of the beach, I could see the sunset, the sea, the sheep, the moonlinght and the stars. It looked like a dream, honestly! I would recommend this place a hundred times and also will stay here again at some point.
I liked everything about this place, I have no comment here.

I was here on a last-minute emergency stay, and I was just hoping for a warm bed. It turned out to be an absolute gem of a place with comfortable, clean rooms, cool common areas, and lots of bathrooms. The owner even pointed out some local areas of interest I would have missed otherwise! Certainly worth a stay if you're traveling through this part of the Westfjords.
I wasn't prepared to stay, so the lack of food available (supermarket, restaurant, provided meal, etc) was a problem. Still, that's not the guesthouse's fault.

Very clean and quiet room, shared kitchen big enough and well equipped. The host came within 2 minutes for the check-in. Amazing view on the Snaefellsness peninsula, perfect for breakfast.

Close to the ferry station. On a paved road!

Beautiful nature and sea view. Our hostess was super kind and informative. Comfortable lodging with 5 bathrooms to share so at least one or two are always open.
N/A, all was great

This was our favorite hotel from the entire two weeks we spent in Iceland. We met interesting people, made good use of the generous kitchen and living areas, and found the whole place to be exceptionally clean and well maintained. The host was helpful and friendly. Would love to return. We even saw the aurora!
The owners are often away from the desk. They have a sign asking new arrivals to call them. This is great if you have phone service. Otherwise it can be a challenge to reach them. They are located very close to the ferry but not close to any grocery, restaurants or stores so be sure to plan ahead and bring all your food.
There are two gorgeous, ocean-front hot springs nearby. However, they are not much hotter than body temperature. Some people loved them but my husband and I wished them to be hotter. This is not the fault of the hotel of course, but be advised. There are also not many activities nearby as it is a quite remote area.

Absolutely loved this place, close to Brjánslækur ferry, perfect for a few nights to cover Westfjords area. Next to a beautiful beach which is totally empty of tourists, hills in the background, wonderful location, very quiet, peaceful area. Nice facilities, was empty due to shoulder season, staff were very helpful. Note for all attractions in Westfjord area distances can be very long. Strongly recommended.
