Hosts really good, helpful with queries and left lovely cream sconces.
Nothing, all good.

Location was good and hosts were very friendly.
Bathroom and shower not very user friendly, which we should have noted on the pictures to be honest.
There was a garden space, however unfortunately we didn’t feel comfortable with the proximity and view to the house for privacy. This of course could be our own personal preferences.

We had an excellent stay in the beautiful cottage which was only a stone's throw from the vibrant harbour. Hosted by a lovely, welcoming couple. My children didn't want to leave!

Lovely cottage, nicely appointed. Pleasant and quiet.
A bit tricky to find, so pay careful attention to the address and SatNav.
Very poor Wi-Fi and 4G.

nicely situated in Charlestown very clean with nice decor, very quiet and comfortable
The bath in the shower room was the only minus for us, would not suit anyone with issues ,stepping into the bath could be a challenge.Perhaps removing the bath and turning it into a wet room would be a better idea but other than that , excellent.

close to the sea. nicely hidden away. had a comforts of home. car could be parked off the road. lovely kitchen. bed downstairs wonderful
although there was a garden, next door had access so a couple of times they just wandered thru. also, I appreciate when the weather is nice you want to crack on with work outside but not when you’ve rented the property out so sitting outside, if you closed your eyes you could have been on a building site with the drilling, banging etc. sorry, just being honest.

The location was great, just a few minutes walk from the town/harbour and beach.

The location was fantastic. 5mins walk down to the Harbour with a great range of restaurants and places to eat. Quirky individual shops and galleries. Really lovely place to spend an afternoon strolling around or a summers evening. So very picturesque.
The cottage itself was wonderful, exceeded all of our expectations. Spacious yet cosy and very comfortable, was perfect for two of us and the dog. Had everything we needed for a 3 night stay and more. Kitchen was brilliantly equipped as was the bathroom. The garden area was lovely too, a real little sun trap. Great to sit in with a glass of wine after a busy day walking and exploring. So much to see in the surrounding areas, Neptune's Rest was the most gorgeous base for our little break.
Have already been recommending it to family and friends. We really loved it.
The only one tiny issue was it was a bit tricky balancing in the narrow base of the roll top bath to use the shower and getting in and out. May not be too easy for anyone a bit older or with mobility difficulties. That's all.
Everything else was amazing.

Neptune's Rest is a beautiful and very welcoming cottage. It's well laid out, clean and very nicely designed.
The location is fantastic and very easy to find. We will be back again to explore more of St Austell 😊

Excellent accomodation and lovely atmosphere, really like the decoration in the house and plenty of areas to sit. Really cosy winter trip location with so many great attractions nearby. Heating worked great and the house was really toasty and welcoming. The house had everything we needed and we would love to return.
Very minor issue but the front door was very tricky to unlock!

Neptunes Rest is absolutely beautiful and very well decorated and maintained. Lots of charm and character
The heating system was difficult to work, we had a maximum of an hour a day out of it, so it was pretty cold most of the time. The weather made this worse really but if it hadn’t been so cold it would have been perfect.

Gorgeous accomodation with lovely bespoke quirky features. Layout really worked as we had our teenage son with us and he loved having his own space upstairs with sofa bed and TV. Wifi also good. Kitchen is outstanding with everything you could possibly need to cook a meal provided. Beautifully decorated. Weather wasn't great during our stay, but this place is so cosy and nice to be in it didn't matter. Charlestown is a gorgeous little place to stay and harbour is short walk down the road, passing a great pub on the way. We loved staying at Neptunes Rest. Hosts are great too. Thankyou. We would love to return one day.

Location was great just a few minutes walk to the harbour area
The only thing that could have been better was the weather!

The cottage was beautifully presented and unique. The location was ideal for Charlestown where there were numerous places to eat and drink. The hosts were lovely and on hand if needed but gave just the right amount of privacy. The accommodation catered fantastically for our dog. Would absolutely recommend Neptune's Rest.
Nothing to dislike.

Lovely quirky little cottage with good kitchen facilities. Comfortable bed, excellent standard of cleanliness. Dog friendly, hosts very welcoming and knowledgeable about surrounding area for visiting beaches, walks etc. also very helpful with regard to eating out etc.
The lock on front door very hit and miss, struggled with opening. Shower was great but was placed over a rolled top bath with nowhere to put shower gel shampoo etc, also as floor got soaked when showing was a little precarious getting out.
The cottage was a over looked by hosts own home although they did everything possible to give us our privacy.

It was a cozy little cottage but extremely adequate. Sarita and Jason had thought of every little thing. I have a 28 months toddler and a 7 year old girl. They loved the room upstairs and safety gates were there so I didn't have to worry about my toddler going up and down the stairs. There even was a little booster dining chair which we attached to one of the dining chairs for my son. Sarita had even put some scones, jam and clotted cream ( got me addicted to these). Most of all Sarita and Jason made us feel at home and extended such a warm welcome. She even gave us tips on what to do and what will be kid friendly. We shall most certainly be back.
We should have taken the week off. Couldn't stay one more night when there was a cancellation.
