Un angolo di pace

La camera arredata con gusto. Spazi piccoli. Ottima colazione.la struttura ha solo 4 camere piano terra e.primo piano. Spazi comuni all'aperto molto belli.piscina piccola. La.camera ha.anche angolo cottura completo

Purtroppo i dettagli non sono.stati molto curati. La doccia era piena di calcare e l'acqua usciva con grande difficoltà. Abbiamo chiesto allo staff ma nessuno è riuscito a trovare una soluzione

Globalmente, excelente!!

A decoração era linda! Muito confortável e limpo. Funcionários muito prestáveis e simpáticos. As bicicletas estavam em excelente estado e pudemos explorar a área.

Não haver água quente em todos os quartos. Caminho para o hotel pouco iluminado à noite.

Ideale tussenstop tijdens ons surfreisje

Juan de nachtwaker ontving ons nog om 11PM. Super vriendelijke man. Locatie is ook top! Net buiten de drukte, maar toch dicht bij alles.

Lange wachttijd bij het ontbijt, maar wel goed.

Zum Wohlfühlen!

Wir hatten ein tolles und gemütliches Zimmer und haben uns zu jeder Zeit wohlgefühlt. Man ist auf alle unsere Wünsche eingegangen. Das Frühstück war super, die Anlage sehr schön und das Personal war super freundlich. Zum Strand und zum Zentrum waren es einige Minuten zu Fuß, aber überhaupt kein Problem. Für uns das schönste Hotel auf unserer Reise :-)

Exceptional

We had a great place. With fridge microwave and sink but no stove. Breakfast was included, very good with many options. Staff super friendly. Free access to a couple of beach bikes and surfboards. They are a bit worn out but do the job. Parking spot in front. The beach is a bit far with about a 10min walk. Walk is easy and safe though. Many options for food close by. Would stay again!

Nothing but amazing

They serve a Typical breakfast that is nothing but amazing! I loved that they provide a bunch of amenities such as feminine products, one of their coolest amenities is that they offer free use of surfboards and bikes. The staff was amazing, super kind and helpful with everything!

Exceptional

We booked a night last minute after a small schedule issue in our planning. And we were welcomed so kindly, the staff was so attentive and kind, always checking if we had everything we needed. The place is really beautiful, very clean And the morning breakfast (special pancake) was just delicious. We were so positively surprised by this place, we keep it in mind for our next visit !

Just the lock system of our bedroom was not working very well but this can be easily fixed I think.

the room was as shown in the photos

it was extremely noisy we struggled to sleep and there was quite a few bugs in our room each day. The staff were unable to accommodate our special request at breakfast as they couldn’t speak English although I had put in the request before arriving as was told this won’t be a problem. I am vegetarian and ended up with a ham and cheese omelette given to me. There also did not appear to be any gluten free options presented to us. When I asked the concierge about the laundry service he advised to provide a tip, there was no exact cost. However, when I spoke to one of the cleaners she tried to say it was $1 per item.

I always come back.

Its been a few times that I have stayed in Casa Leona as I travel for work very often. I work in the hospitality industry and I can assure everything is always perfect. Over the years they have kept the installations and rooms in wonderful conditions. The employees have always been very accommodating and breakfast is always delicious. The best breakfast I have had at any hotel! This is a small hotel located one block of the Main Street of Tamarindo, super close to all the shops and restaurants. Walkable distance. The night guard is very lovely and helpful.

Excellent alternative in Tamarindo

Beautiful property serving an excellent breakfast. AC worked perfectly, there were multiple restaurants a short walk away, and there were surfboards and bicycles available for guests.

A bit far from the center by foot, but we got used to it very quickly. Multiple stores and restaurants nearby

very good breakfast and a very comfortable room, including the shower it was a very nice touch to have the toiletries in the bathroom too, even though we didn’t need them nice though

on arrival we were told we had to pay 13% on top if we pay by card, this is the first time we have had it anywhere in Costa Rica and we argued not to pay. other option was cash

Lovely location and lovely staff

The newly build and nice location was a little walk away from the center, thus more quiet with a lovely surrounding. Extremly frindly stuff. Also due to this we decided for an extra day!

terribly stay, very noisy, unhelpful owner and staff. Don’t stay here.

the reviews made it seem quiet, clean, and peaceful.

when we arrived, we’d been booked with a loud family with a child above us. The staff spoke no English and were unable to find us a quiet spot. aside from the night watchman, the staff were standoffish and rude. The room was fine, but very noisy, with little to no soundproofing. the upstairs guests stayed up late moving furniture around and talking loudly. After trying to get some help from the staff for a couple of hours, we managed to get a couple of uncomfortable and unsettled hours of sleep, after messaging the hotel through the app. The owner refused to offer any kind of refund or even respond to our message. when we managed to get ahold of them through the one staff member who grudgingly helped us, their only answer to our concern was that they don’t offer any refunds. This was a terrible stay. We strongly recommend against booking this hotel.

Casa Leona was great!! it’s the perfect distance from the beach so was quiet and peaceful! the room was quite small but it opened out to the patio so we were able to relax with the doors open. They also had great vegan options for breakfast and everything felt handmade and personal! thanks for a lovely stay! can’t wait to come back!

Highly recommend. Loved the breakfast, bikes and surfboard rental.

Cozy and well kept spot. Easily walkable to town/beach. Small pool and very delicious breakfast options. Staff are accommodating and the two daughters speak fluent English and are very helpful with anything you need.

Relaxing Stay in Paradise

This Hotel was amazing, it makes you feel right at home. The property is beautiful and well maintained, rooms are clean and area is quiet. The breakfast is amazing , Francella and Alejandra are the workers on site who made the delicious breakfast and assisted us with anything you can need during your stay. Room is very clean ,we had a shared balcony with a table. The area is quiet and away from the downtown area, however you can walk which takes about 10 minutes or they also have complimentary bikes and surf boards. I would highly recommend and return again.

Not much to complain about, except for the shower The water is warm, didn't get super hot. But that's okay, because Tamarindo can be really hot, so water is perfect after a long day.

The whole property and grounds were really beautiful and well thought-out and maintained.

Superb

The property is lovely with a delightful garden that we enjoyed very much for our early morning coffee. The owner and his staff were super helpful with all questions we had prior and during our stay. The spaces felt well care for and we were very comfortable there. A great bonus was the surf boards and bikes available for all guests free of charge

The breakfast portions were really, really tiny and we were a bit surprised
