Really memorable, exceptional location

Beautiful, quiet location and easy self check-in. The lodge was very clean, warm and comfortable with two great sofas and a comfy bed. The terrace doors open to a field where each morning we were visited by a group of happy pygmy goats and sheep. Staff were excellent and even helped us dig the car out when we got snowed in.

Fun, restful, good battery recharge

The lodge was modern, spacious and had everything we needed. Great place had so much to do for the kids and I really liked that the gate shut from the outside so it gave us some safe outdoor space and made it hard for little escape artists!!

Lovely friendly animal encounters, fabulous for young children, wonderful for large family group get togethers.

Properties were nicely spread out. Clean, plenty of space, good parking, nice views. Lovely for children young to get close to very friendly farm animals and horses.

Very clean, comfortable lodge in great location.

Very clean and comforable and excellent views over surrounding fields. Although weather was unfavourable the lodge was warm and cosy. An armchair and sofa were great to just relax on and read a book. Kitchen more than adequate to cook. Bathroom excellent with easy to use shower and lots of hot water. Many pubs and farm shops and a supermarket in easy reach.

A dishwasher would have been great and a waste bin for the kitchen area. However these did not distract from the overall positive view of the lodge.

Exceptional

Loved the log cabin which was exceptionally clean, well equipped and comfortable. Although there are other lodges and cabins nearby we had total privacy. We thoroughly enjoyed our short break, the wine and shortbread were also nice touches. We wouldn't hesitate to rebook in the future. Thank you all 🥰

A lovely short break with great amenities

The facilities on the farm, games room, play area etc. The lodge itself was newly furbished and spotlessly clean. I enjoyed having our own little enclosed area too (good for our wandering toddler) and we loved waking up to baby goats in the morning. We'll definitely return.

Very enjoyable stay for our long weekend attending a family wedding.

The location. We enjoyed watched hares and other wildlife. We had only telephone contact with staff but that was excellent. The information and folder in the property was comprehensive. The facilities were generally very good. Great outdoor space. Great convenient parking. Great access for anyone with disabilities.

Lighting. The ceiling lights were uncomfortably bright, They would benefit from a dimmer switch. There was only one side lamp and no softer mood lighting available. The lounge sofas were not very comfortable.

Fantastic break away in the beautiful countryside!

Everything! We stayed in the Locksley and from the second we arrived we had an amazing break away. You can really tell it is a family run farm with a lovely welcoming atmosphere and nothing too much trouble! The free pamper a pony session is brilliant and we also enjoyed a lovely farm walk to see the animals and a few games of pool in the games room, all within easy reach of our chalet. The accommodation was so cosy with fantastic views and we will definitely be returning.

Very cozy, comfortable, excellent farm walk. Nice views.

No tea and coffee provided - considering cost paid, should have been provided as common courtesy. Everything was chargeable (logs, wifi etc). Capitalist owners wanting profit maximisation.

Fantastic, beautiful place.

What a wonderful place this is. Beautiful location, lovely scenery, lots of animals and so peaceful. The cabin was spacious and very well equipped. Had everything we needed. Attention to detail was evident throughout the accommodation and surrounding areas. Hosts were very friendly but did not bother us. There if we needed them. Communication prior to arrival was excellent. We could only stay a couple of nights due to work commitments but would have loved to stay longer and will definitely try to stay again soon. Highly recommended.

Amazing!

Everything was perfect, spotlessy clean, comfortable beds views are amazing we stayed at fairview Lodge as we was attending a wedding couldnt ask for better 2 nights wasnt enough will be back in future

Loved our stay and will definitely return.

The excellent location. The spec of the property. The bottle of wine and sweets on arrival. It was a very hot day and they provided a fan. The extra amenities such as the games room children's play area and country walk and star gazing area.

There was a lovely shower but I like a bath (personal preference). The turn out of the gate on a hidden bend was a bit scary but it's better if you turn left and then double back!
