Our stay felt like coming home in the middle of our vacation. The accommodations are luxurious yet comforting and the food was some of the best we had in Iceland.

Según llegamos nos dio una habitación superior porque la tenía libre. La habitación nueva, impecable y muy cómoda. El desayuno maravilloso y todo casero. La anfitriona muy amable.

Fantastic dinner and wonderful social gathering with the rest of the guests. Great to talk and share stories of everyone’s travels thus far. Staff was excellent. Nice spot right on the water too.
Rooms were definitely small in the guesthouse but spending only one night there makes it not really a factor. Dinner makes the stay worth it.

El lloc està molt bé , arran de mar i el personal molt amable.
L’inconvenient es que el bany es compartit i haver de fer cua per dutxar-te o anar al wc no es agradable.
Per lo gran que es el menjador , les habitacions son justetes

Gorgeously decorated house with a beautiful view on the ocean. You really feel at home right away. The guesthouse offers a 3-course dinner that you have with all guests on one big table. The dinners is absolutely amazing! Fresh, healthy and all cooked with special care by the owner. The staff is really friendly and try to help you as much as possible. He even gave advice on road conditions and aurora forecast. The room and shared bathroom are very luxurious and clean. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Very beautiful place, very nice and clean at a nice location right on the sea. The host was also very lovely and welcoming. I felt like home. Thank you very much!! 🙂

If you are lucky, you can watch auroras and whales... from the dining table! We loved sharing delicious dinner with other travellers. I recommend it to people starting their Icelandic adventure. It's possible to learn many valuable tips for travel.
We had 2 helpings of the fantastic breakfast made of local Icelandic ingredients.
The fantastic staff and lovely owners took care of us very well. Atelier felt like home, with many places to relax with books and board games. We stayed 3 days and wished we booked for longer!

There is dinner every night that you can join with a set menu, and is served to all guests at the same table to encourage conversation. This was a highlight of our entire trip to Iceland. While a little pricy to do, the food was excellent, and we had an incredible time conversing with other guests that joined us. It also had a great view to enjoy while you ate, and excellent facilities that were very clean.

Loved the location ~ the cute interior. Everything about this place was wonderful
The hosts were wonderful ~ the rooms were cute and beautifully decorated! Loved it all!
Nothing- loved it all

Front view to the ocean, spacious common areas, the idea of preparing the dinner for the guests.
My overall review considers several criteria in order to distinguish within the properties range, from basic ones to high-end type ones, not just the place of the property within the segment it belongs to.
Lack of private bathroom, patronizing owner’s attitude.

Beautifull location, room was cozy
Breakfast was limited to one hour only, between 8-9 (!). Only one person in charge, so food runs out quicky.

A wonderful room with the view on the sea,
a good breakfast in a very welcoming dinner room. We had also dinner at the guesthouse and we recommend you. Hosts are excellent cooks!

Very original building with nice rooms, lots of space, comfy beds and a cool concept with an open kitchen in the dining room where you could watch Gisli (the chef) prepare the dinner. The guests were seated at the same big table so they could get to know and talk to each other, which was also a very pleasant addition to the experience.

We loved the seaside location. The dining room has a beautiful big window that looks out to the sea. We also really enjoyed the 3 course dinner using local Icelandic ingredients that you can opt into when you stay. We had seafood soup with dill, cod with Moroccan cous cous and chocolate cake with red currents. So delicious and memorable!

Beautiful location for bird watching, perfect sunsets, stylish decoration and amazing breakfast
It is more a hotel than a guesthouse, no kitchen or storage options, neither tables or chairs to use while the restaurant is open. The town is a bit far from other tourist attractions.

The hosts were great! We had dinner at the guesthouse and the food was really fantastic. Inga, the owner, has a recipe book (we bought it!). The house is very clean, as well as the restrooms.

Unique experience, sleeping in the eldest house of the village (yet renovated with very good taste), with a direct sea view and the west fjords in the distance). Very comfortable beds. All very clean and off high quality. Dinner is prepared by the owners (excellent!) and eaten at a large common table with other guests, which was a very pleasant experience. We enjoyed every minute of our stay.

The dinner prepared by the owners was outstanding!! An extra cost, of course, but you could taste love in every bite. Some of the freshest seafood we had in Iceland.
The shared bathrooms wasn’t ideal, but we honestly didn’t run into any issues with the other house guests in using the shared bathrooms.

The room is very nice and clean . We have the room with the beautiful sea view. The people is very friendly . My son was a little sick the night we stayed there, they are so kind to let us to check out a little late . The dinner there is excellent and it is best meal in my whole trip. If ying stay there , you should try the dinner there .
The only thing I don’t like that I wish I have more options to choose from instead of the set dinners .

Our room was assigned to a shared bathtub with no curtain to let you stand up. Sharing a shower with others is one thing, but I didn't like having to share a bathtub with others. Was not aware of this before arriving.
