The deluxe treehouse was awesome! Worth doing. Not cheap but our fave accommodation for our Sri Lankan trip. Wish we could have stayed longer. They even gave us free water when we were leaving, staff were lovely!

Die Anlage ist wunderschön und gepflegt. Der Salzwasserpool riesig und sauber. Die Lage direkt am Strand ist phantastisch. Zudem war es problemlos ohne Kosten möglich die Anzahl der Nächte von drei auf eine zu reduzieren.
Wir hatten ein Budgetzimmer für über 100 Euro die Nacht gebucht. Das Zimmer war super feucht und schimmelig. Die Bettwäsche war klamm, das Bad sehr dreckig, wir hatten Kakerlaken auf dem Zimmer und haben uns sehr unwohl dort gefühlt. Wir haben einmal dort zu Mittag gegessen, es war viel zu teuer, für das was man bekam. Auch vom Frühstück waren wir sehr enttäuscht. Aus diesem Grund sind wir frühzeitig abgereist und haben uns direkt in der Nachbarstraße eine andere Unterkunft gebucht. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis hat überhaupt nicht gestimmt.

The tree houses were amazing! It was fully open with mosquito nets over the beds so it really felt very special to hear the waves while you slept. The food was really delicious too and our kids absolutely loved the pool.
My booking said I had two double beds, with a sea view and that the room featured a bath. Unfortunately this was an inaccurate description. The room did not have a sea view. They do not have rooms with two double beds and they do not have baths in any of the rooms. We also had to pay in everything in cash as they did not have any card machine which meant a few trips to the ATM machine!

El resort es precioso, es un paraíso... Sobretodo si no llueve! Nos coincidieron dos días de lluvia (todo el día lloviendo torrencialmente) y... El pueblo de Tangalle está a 40 min andando, moverte a comprar algo o cenar a 20 min aprox.
Dormíamos en una casa en un árbol, la primera noche de lluvia nos cambiaron de casa porque empezó a llover dentro de la habitación. En la segunda casa, la sensación es que se movía con el viento y la lluvia fuerte. Fue una noche "divertida".
Lo cierto es que los días de sol es espectacular estar allí. Lo malo es que el mar es tan bravo que no te puedes bañar, pero tiene una piscina increíble que lo suple.
A las casa les "falta" alguna pared, el techo del baño... Es un detalle precioso si hace bueno, si no...
Las casas que están más cerca de la playa están llenas de arenas siempre. Aunque limpies las sábanas, al rato vuelven, supongo que será el viento y la "falta" de paredes. Aún así el sitio es un espectáculo.

I like everything about the property the eco vibe using all raw materials but it’s still feeling such a luxury place. It was gorgeous. I stayed in the sea front tree house. You could hear the ocean as you slept the rooms were spacious and clean and I loved the decor. The hotel has a lovely big pool and it was located right on the seafront. The aesthetics were beautiful! X

La piscine est très agréable, le restaurant qui donne directement sur la plage.
Les chambres sont grandes et propres. On se croirait à Bali.
Le personnel est sympathique.
Nous avons eu un discount pour la basse saison et placé dans un super bungalow.
Parking pour se garer.
Forcement le prix du restaurant est un peu élevé pour des petites portions.

Die Anlage an sich direkt am Strand ist wunderschön, toller Salzwasserpool und die Außenbereiche für Gastro sind sehr schön. Eigentlich perfekt zum abschalten.
Im ersten Zimmer gab es Kakerlaken, was wohl nicht normal ist trotz Baumhaus, das teils in den Dschungel offen ist. Ins zweite Zimmer hat es reingeregnet. Alles was uns im Anschluss an alternativen Zimmern/Baumhäusern angeboten wurde, entsprach leider nicht mehr wirklich dem, was wir uns vom Aufenthalt erhofft hatten. Für die erste Nacht haben wir aufgrund der Kakerlaken Rabatt bekommen.

Die Unterkunft ist ein Paradies. Die Anlage, das Essen, das Personal und die Atmosphäre ist 10 mit Sternchen. Alles wird einem erklärt, wenn man möchte, vom Essen bis zu verschiedenen Ritualen. Tiere laufen, fliegen und klettern durch den tollen Garten. Wir haben 2 Tage verlängert und eigentlich will ich gar nicht mehr weg.

Die Unterkunft liegt direkt am Strand. Sie hat einen herrlichen Salzwasserpool. Die Anlage wird sehr sauber gehalten und den ganzen Tag über wird dafür gesorgt, dass alles sauber und gepflegt ist. In den Zimmern hört man das Meeresrauschen und die dort lebenden Tiere. Es ist ein Paradies. Das Restaurant wird abends sehr gemütlich eingedeckt und man sitzt direkt am Meer. Wenn man dort Gast hat man sehr seine Ruhe und genießt einfach mal eine kleine Auszeit.

Wygodne duże łóżko, domek na drzewie, mały taras, widok na ogród i Ocean. Bardzo dobre i duże śniadania. Świetna kuchnia z owocami morza. Świetny basen i widok na plażę. Ręczniki w pokoju i na basenie.
W domku gałęzie przez które trzeba przechodzić, Woda źle spływała w łazience, podłoga z gałęzi zamiast pełna z desek. Mało miejsca na walizki. Małe wejscie na domek.

I had booked a suite ground floor and we were given a free house with no walls, open windows.. in the end this was a nice surprise but my partner suffered from vertigo and this should have been better communicated

Magnifique hôtel, chaque détail et soigné et le service est tout simplement impeccable. Un véritable havre de paix pour être au calme, manger des fruits de mers délicieux et des cocktails magnifiques. La plage en face de l’hôtel est trop agité (+ rocher) donc ne pas hésiter à se rendre à celles environnantes.

L’hôtel est magnifique ! On ne peut pas faire + proche de la mer. La piscine est magnifique et le restaurant est hyper bien placé.
Après les prix du restaurant sont un peu chers et le personnel pas toujours des plus aimables ce qui gâche un peu le caractère « idyllique » de l’endroit.

Tolle Anlage mit Dschungelfeeling.
Die Hütten waren gut ausgestattet und alles war sauber. Sehr nah am tollen Strand. Auch das Restaurant ist zu empfehlen. Man sitzt praktisch am Strand. Essen sehr gut und geschmackvoll.
Die offenen Badezimmer fanden wir nicht do toll. da wir gleich mal einen Skorpion entdeckt haben.

La chambre une cabane perchée dans les arbres avec une vue à 360 degrés (chambre Sky). Elle est ouverte sur l’extérieur, nous on a adoré mais attention si vous avez peur des animaux et insectes. Le bruit des vagues. La plage magnifique et déserte qui s’étend devant l’hôtel (pour se baigner 15 minutes de marche à gauche). L’environnement est vraiment extraordinaire. Le personnel est adorable sauf le manager peu sympathique, lent et qui nous a rien expliqué à notre arrivée.
La lenteur au restaurant, un midi nous avons attendu 1h15 notre plat, sans excuse.
Les chiens qui aboient en pleine nuit pendant de long moment.

Cinnabar was all in all a 10/10 experience: The location right at a very calm part of Tangalle beach, the staff, the food, the cocktails, the massage... Highly recommend and would come again!

Nous nous sommes offert ce lieux pendant quelques jours et c’était incroyable.
Le moindre câble est caché par de la corde, tout semble être parfaitement intégré dans la nature, comme si l’homme n’était pas intervenu!
Je me suis prise un malin plaisir à observer les gens qui devaient trouver la douche de la piscine 🤣🤣🤣
Bien sure le personnel est bienveillant, accueillant, souriant et j’en passe.
Beaucoup de petites mains parfois invisibles ou peu visibles s’activent du matin au soir pour garder ce lieu propre et magique.
Merci à eux, merci à tous de nous avoir offert ce bel endroit.

Fantastische ervaring. Echt tropisch! De locatie is geweldig aan het strand van Tangalle. De accomodatie en huisjes zijn prachtig ingericht. Heerlijk relaxen bij het zwembad of chillen aan het strand. De vruchtensapjes, cocktails en het eten zijn echt het beste wat we tot nu toe hebben gehad.
De WiFi werkte helaas niet, maar toch geven we de hoogste beoordeling.

Beautiful unique property, the initial photos don't do it justice. I forgot it had a pool, which as the sea is choppy is nice to have. We were only staying for one night so were upgraded to their sea front treehouse which was lovely! You will need to be able to climb the stairs to stay in this one. The dogs are cute and friendly, the 4 course breakfast was included and really nice to try a few different options. The location is quiet and peaceful with lots of lounging on the beach available there are other bars around if you want to venture out. Bed was luxurious which makes such a difference, the shower was the best we had in Sri Lanka so far. Impressive considering it was in a tree house!
The morning filter coffee was ver weak, but they also offer espresso and 'proper' coffee which was good.
If we had not been upgraded I'm not sure if we would have been as pleased with the price we paid. Pool area has the opportunity for more comfortable seating, pool itself is stunning and immaculate, the cleanest we have seen.

Personal: Das Personal ist großartig! So viele freundliche Menschen, die einem nur das Beste wollen. Alle Gäste bekommen einen Begrüßungssmoothie (sehr lecker). Das Personal bekommt eine 11 von 10.
Lage: Das Resort liegt etwas außerhalb von Tangalle und man sollte vor Anreise wissen, dass man hier nicht wirklich schwimmen kann. Es gibt ein paar Minuten entfernt eine "safety area to swim", aber schwimmen kann man da auch nicht wirklich. Es hat uns aber nicht gestört, weil die Unterkunft so eine Ruhe ausstrahlt, dass man nirgends anders sein möchte als am Pool.
Frühstück/Abendessen: Das Essen (Sowohl Frühstück als auch Abendessen) war sehr lecker und vielseitig.
Unterkunft: Das Paradies auf Erden. Man fühlt sich wie im Dschungel. Wir haben das höchste aller Baumhäuser bekommen und konnten über den Wald kilometerweit in alle Richtungen sehen. Das Baumhaus generell war ein Traum und schön groß - inklusive einem Balkon mit Hängematten und einem großen Outdoor-Bad.
