Went to a wedding in surrounding area, was 1 min from station an had everything I needed.

The lady that welcomed me was polite an friendly, the room was spotless. Bed was great an also had a mini fridge if needed. All in all for price exceeded expectations an could not have asked for better than I received 10/10.

Very clean! Comfortable, friendly, good value for money. I had an own bathroom with bathtub, everything very clean. Fresh bedsheets, microwave, kettle, coffee, tea and a small breakfast bag. Just perfect for this price!

Excellent stay at pilkingtons 😊

Location very central, breakfast of porridge and waffle a nice touch, owner was lovely

It was on the main st,so a little noisy during the day when my window was open but when closed was fine

Very clean, nice friendly host. Needs new mattress’s in the twin room.

Exceptionally clean, very nice host.

Both the two single beds need new mattresses! The springs were pressing through. Tried both of them. If you had a bad back it certainly wouldn’t help.

Nice kitchen with appliances, decent shower, and the room is spacious and a comfy sleep. There is also a Tesco just a short walk away.

Suped-up cars racing down the road just outside in the early hours of the morning.

The lady at the guest house was very accommodating and friendly. Rang for directions and parked easily at the back door. Nice lady (didn't get her name) met me at the back door. Showed me to the room Lovely bright fresh spacious room with an ensure. Also included was tea and coffee facilities plus a little brown bag with porridge and snacks for breakfast. All for a great price. The guest house is in the town centre right next to the Railway Station and the Bus Station is also across the road We will be staying again and I would recommend this small business.

Room D creaky floorboards but apart.from that all good.

Matched expectations. Very suitable for people who are on a budget and don’t want a lot of frills!

Pilkington’s Bed and Breakfast is exceedingly good value for money. The room and bathroom were immaculate. I was offered a bath robe, hairdryer and heater but didn’t need them. The room was warm and additional blankets were available. The snack breakfast was welcomed although I wasn’t expecting it. I had my own bathroom although it wasn’t en suite. I knew this when I booked.
