Wir kommen wieder!

Die Lage in direkter Ortsmitte mit Blick auf den Marktplatz. Netter gemütlicher holländisch angehauchter Ort. Hotel Amsterdamm ist einzigartig .Sehr gepflegtes Hotel Zimmer mit Komfort und Esprit, leckeres Essen, schöne Einrichtungs- Ideen authentisch und sehr freundlich. Auch unsere geliebte kleine Dackelhündin durfte dort übernachten. Wir kommen wieder .

Schönes, freundliches Hotel mit historischem Ambiente, holländisch gemütlich (gemakkelijk).

Ein sehr individuelles, historisches Hotel direkt im Zentrum der nordfriesischen "Holländerstadt" Friedrichstadt. Sehr geschmackvoll und gemütlich (Holländer würden sagen "gemakkelijk") eingerichtet. Zimmer und Badezimmer waren neu und modern. Das Frühstück im historisch anmutenden Frühstücksraum war sehr lecker. Eiervariationen (Spiegelei, Rührei, gekochtes Ei) wurden frisch zubereitet und von der freundlichen Bedienung an den Tisch gebracht. Das Personal an der Rezeption war sehr zuvorkommend; man wurde persönlich aufs Zimmer geführt. Leider war das Restaurant Holländische Stuben abends ausgebucht. Das hätte den Aufenthalt sicher noch reizvoller gemacht. Gute öffentliche Parkmöglichkeiten rund um das Hotel.

Die zum Teil steilen/engen Treppen im Hotel und nebenan im Restaurant waren für mich kein Problem. Gäste mit Mobilitätseinschränkungen sollten jedoch vor der Buchung darauf hingewiesen werden.

Die Preise von der Speisekarte auf der Web Seite stimmen nicht mehr. Mein bestelltes Essen war 4 Euro teurer als auf der Speisekarte von der Internetseite

Ihana paikka kaikin puolin, tulemme varmasti uudestaan. Koiraystävällinen!

Aivan ihana paikka majoittua, sänky hyvä, joka itselleni tärkeä, siisti kylpyhuone, huone ei kovin iso. Kiitos, kun koira sai tulla myös. Hyvä aamupala, mukava henkilökunta. Alakerran ravintolassa parhaat schnitzelit ikinä. Tulemme varmasti uudestaan!

Eine super Lage. Ausgezeichnetes Frühstück. Tolle Speisekarte. Die Qualität war hervorragend. Begleitet wurde alles von einem sehr freundlichem Personal. Wir haben ein verlängertes Wochenende Verbracht und uns sehr wohl gefühlt. 100 % Weiterempfehlung.

Klein Amsterdam- Sehr gutes Preis- Leistung Verhältnis

Sehr schönes und gemütliches Hotel. Unser Zimmer war modern und praktisch eingerichtet- das Bett war sehr bequem. Sehr gutes Frühstück in historischen Räumen nebenan in der Holländischen Stube. Dort kann man auch im Restaurant ausgesprochen gut essen!

Fantastic location in a lovely town.

Comfortable and clean with lovely welcoming staff and a good breakfast. The location is excellent right in the heart of the most wonderful and interesting town. The building is a bit creaky around the edges and that is part of its charm. There is a lovely open self service bar area on the landing which is a very nice touch.

Poor wifi connection which we rely upon being from overseas.

Lovely hotel

The breakfast was nice and the staff was friendly. The room was very clean and modern. We had a view of the marketsquare, it's very pretty. There is a restaurant in the hotel, but we didn't make a reservation so we couldn't eat there, but the staff pointed us in the direction of a nearby Greek restaurant where we ate very well. :)

A lovely small hotel!

The rooms had everything that we needed. There was even a coffee machine in the room and a kettle and coffee machine in the little „Teeküche“ in the hallway. We had a family room, which was made up of two double rooms a small room with a toilet and sink as well as a separate room with a shower and sink. This is a great idea! There was plenty of storage space in the bedrooms, the beds were comfy and the rooms were very clean. The breakfast buffet was very good - the breakfast area was really nice. The staff were really helpful and friendly. We didn‘t eat at the restaurant as we mistakenly thought that there wasn’t anything vegetarian on offer but there actually was. So we missed out on that - it would have been great to have eaten in the dining room at the back of the building. It looked like something from a castle! The restaurant also has table next to the canal with a nice view over the square.

There isn’t really anything to say here!

Excellent breakfast with the possibility to order eggs made on your request. A little kitchen at the first floor to make tea and pay for different beverage from the fridge. Coffee machine in the room.

Wonderful place to stay in Friedrichstadt

Great location. Lovely room overlooking the main square. Free parking in front of hotel. Nice restaurant on site. Modern, clean and spacious room. I love the non-slippery slate floor in the bathroom. Every hotel should have this. Nice desk and comfortable chair in room.

I don’t walk very well, and there were an awful lot of steep steps to negotiate. As with many hotels, I really object to the plastic sheeting under the regular sheet. It makes sleeping a sweaty and uncomfortable business. Only one pillow was provided which went very flat under my head.

Modern and cozy hotel in the heart of Friedrichstadt

Recently modernized rooms, everything was cozy and modern and clean, we really liked our stay a lot; the hotel is located just across the market square of Friedrichstadt. Good selection at the buffet.

The owner and the staff was not very friendly, a little bit like the teacher at school that you didn't like.

The central and scenic location was perfect, the on-street parking easy and breakfast excellent. We also enjoyed an excellent evening meal in the attached restaurant. The COVID arrangements were well organised and efficiently administered, effective without being intrusive.

A room fridge would have been useful.

Excellent location - in the old city, fabulous restoration "Hollendishe Stube" and breakfast and very friendly staff,- despite the Corona crisis! In the building you can feel the 17th century spirit :))

Good but could be better.

Location of the hotel was excellent. We had a very nice view of the city center from our window, and it was quiet at night. Staff was quite helpful and precautions for the pandemic were sufficient. The room was clean and well-decorated.

Although the breakfast was good for me, there were not many things for my wife (vegan) to eat. More vegan and bio/locally-sourced options might speak better to next-generation customers. As I stated above, the room was clean and well decorated, but certain problems made enjoying it difficult. First of all, pillows were not of good quality, which really reduced the sleep quality. Also we wanted to ventilate the room at night but the room was quite quickly invaded by spiders. I had to kill 3 large-ish ones personally. I think providing better pillows and installing fly nets could be of great help.

Pleasant stay in a beautiful little town.

Great location, off the main square and by the canal. Nice view too. The restaurant gets busy in the evening, to get a table on the terrace book in advance.

Although the staff were friendly, the place was clearly understaffed - this is not a place for anyone in a hurry. The room was a little small for the price.
