The location is very good - a short stroll to a wonderful beach with excellent tavernas. The charming village centre is very close, with mini markets, bars and restaurants. We stayed in Kakovatos to explore the area and visit Olympia - it’s a beautiful part of the Peloponnese, lovely beaches and unspoilt countryside. We parked our car outside on the street. The apartment was spacious and clean and a very good breakfast was provided by our friendly host.

The owner was friendly and breakfast included in price which was good , room very clean it did have a fridge and 2 bottles of Water
The village was lovely with couple really good restaurants and we were treated to roast suckling pork for free!
It was a tiny room at the back with no view really it felt clostrophobic luckily only staying 1 night and needed to sleep after a 6 hr drive through mountains!
Maybe rooms at front are better?
There was a coffee machine but no supplies or mugs!

Really good breakfast, the beach is perfect
Bit small room but everything is there inside

We had rented a '2 bedroomed' apartment. There weren't in fact any doors (apart from the bathroom door) so it was in effect 1 room. We asked if we could swap to 2 double rooms but were told only 1 was available ( in fact no-one was in the room next to the flat). We rented the available one in addition to the original so spent a lot more money than we had planned to. The shower provided only a dribble of water. The kettle was full of limescale. A bowl of water had to be emptied into the toilet in order for it to flush properly. There was no internet for the last 24 hours and no apology or explanation was provided.

No heating, air con out of order,
Hot water was not available 24h.

A great place in a beautiful small town. We enjoyed visiting and learning more about the Grecian village life during our stay. It was a nice visit between touristy areas to experience village life. Close to many cafes, mini markets, restaurants, and the beach. Eleni and kakovatos studios is a hidden gem. She was there for everything we needed and made us feel like we were at home. This was our first time visiting Greece and we have been so welcomed here. I am looking forward to our next trip here.

Everything is good, simple, clean. A very good restaurant and a great beach are nearby. The owner is nice, the breakfast is simple, everything is fresh.
The rooms are small, but there are balconies where it is nice to sit in the evening. The toilet is old fashioned.
5.0
The rooms are located in the center of the village, 6mins walk from the sea. As the sea front can get windy, this location is ideal.
The village is a traditional quiet place, with vineyards in front of our room, as a natural frontier with the adjacent property. We had the feeling of living in the countryside.
The breakfast was excellent: small variety with good local products and fresh coffee. What else.
Although meticulously clean and very functional, the property cannot hide its age. If you want something glossy and fancy, this is not a place for you.
Also, the bed mattress was rather soft for our taste.

Nice owner and great breakfast. For the price absolutely okay. Room clean an big enough (we had a room in ground floor)
Bathroom old and a small shower with shower curtain (we already in 21st century!)
Room a bit dark - no private balcony or terrace. One window goes to the outdoor staircase.

Lovely hostess with young mother cat and 3 kittens. Lent us towels for thw beach. Really friendly and helpful wirh excellent english. She made us breakfast and chattes with us. The room was quiet and was what we paid for. Quiet location and near a long deserted beach. She also gae us a very goosd recommendation for a nearby restaurant which prooved to be superb a d increadibly cheap.
Lights were cold and the shower was a bit basic. It would have been uswful to havetwo bedside lights.

Breakfast
Pictures on the website are not reflecting what we get in the end. Very small rooms and facilities. Very expensive compared to other rooms we had for the same price
Moreover very noisy, we could hear discussions and TV of the other rooms.

I was made to feel so very welcome by the owners, who both speak perfect English. Lovely room with a fridge and coffee maker, leading out to a beautiful seating area where I enjoyed a delicious breakfast the following morning. Parting gift of ouzo was also much appreciated!
Kakovatos is an attractive Greek village with plenty of facilities, and a fabulous long stretch of unspoiled sandy beach, where holes in the sand and scattered eggshells revealed where turtles had recently hatched.
A bit further away from Olympia than I had planned, but I’d do it again in a heartbeat.

Mrs Eleni was very friendly, polite and welcoming. When we arrived she was waiting for us to show us our room and make sure everything was ok. The room was very clean, exactly as shown in the photos with a nice comfortable bed. Breakfast was also available with a small extra fee which Mrs Eleni prepared for us every morning. She made sure to ask the previous day what time we wanted to eat breakfast and what to include in it. The location of the rooms is very nice, it's about a 5 min walk away from the beach, very very close to a mini market and some taverns and cafeterias. There is also a lot of space to park outside. Mrs Eleni also gave us some information about places we could visit around the area and was always happy to help with anything we asked. We enjoyed our stay very much and we are looking forward to visiting again!
The only negative was the pressure of the water when you wanted to have a shower but that's a very common problem in Greek villages.
