Pool area is beautiful and breakfast is really good.
Mixed feelings - the hotel didn't feel like a 5* hotel. When I arrived I liked the room (3rd floor) and went on to enjoy the pool. However when I came back - I realised AC wasn't working. Room was actually heating up - 2 hours and it went up to 27 degrees, I was sweating. I called reception, they said they'll send someone. 1 hr has passed - nothing. Called back and she said they were busy. After 30 more minutes they brought a massive loud HVAC machine - I requested a change of room as it was already the evening and I wanted to sleep. They 'upgraded' me to a bigger bed but moved me to floor 1 - it was dark, furniture was dated (had cracks). AC was working but the stay wasn't as nice. I went to their sister hotel for next 2 days and it was brilliant. Gym was also disappointing- just a running machine and couple of light weights and no room to work out for more than 1 person - poorest gym I've seen in a 5* hotel.

We stayed in several hotels in La Paz and in Bolivia and Atix was one of the bests…
The food offer can be improved, not a lot of choices if you stay for a few days…

We stayed here overnight in between climbing mountains. The hotel kindly stored our bags for a few days while we climbed our next mountain. The hotel is located in a quiet area outside of the craziness of central La Paz which is nice. Our room was of a decent size, clean and comfortable. Although we didn't have time to use these, we note the hotel did have a nice gym and pool/bar area. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast was fine but could have been more diverse. Lunch was very good. Dinner comprised a fancy menu but with fairly limited options (you could also order from the general menu). The masseuse was incredible, one of the best massages of our life.
Unfortunately, we had serious problems with professionalism and service at the hotel - our room had no bottled water, room service menus or sufficient toiletries upon our arrival, and we had no hot water when we tried to shower - each matter was either not dealt with at all (the shower problem), or it took a very long time to get a resolution. At lunch, the waiter accidentally spilled juice on my meal and tried to serve it to me again after wiping my plate with his hands (!!!) - I told him the kitchen had to re-make it which they did. The service at dinner was slow as there was only one person working and the breakfast buffet was not being re-filled fast enough as items inevitably ran out. We decided to cancel the rest of our planned stays and go to another hotel.

The rooms were big, comfortable and clean. The bar and restaurant is nice. Swimming pool has great views of La Paz. Staff were very welcoming and attentive. A few nice restaurants located within a 5/10 min walk.
Massively overpriced for what you get. Our room did not have hot water so we had to move rooms twice in order for it to be fixed (not what you expect when you are paying such a high price). Location is way out of the city. Great if you’re looking for a quiet area but rather annoying having to get uber’s all the time.

The staff was very helpful. First they changed our room from the first floor with a wall in front of the window to an
upper floor.
Second the bathroom has some problem and they tried very hard to fix.
For the inconvenience they were extremely nice and offered us dinner and drinks.
The restaurant was very nice and the menu very interesting and different.
Upon departure one the the management also gave me a lovely scarf as a gift.
I recommend the hotel, the staf and the location. the area is filled with lovely shops much better and more elegant
than downtown and places for a drink and some food.
Breakfast could be better and eggs and omelette too.
The jacuzzi on top with windows all round is wonderful, also a possibility of a drink from the bar on that level.
Unfortunately people used it at 7 am in the morning creating a lot of noise if you room is right below.

Location, interior, spa
It was a bit quiet when we were there - especially in the restaurant

Atix has a contemporary vibe. quiet, comfortable, spacious rooms with views and sun. walking distance to up market dining and pleasant shopping Also the Yellow teleferico station is walking distance ( buy a ticket for the yellow and then green if you want to go all the way to the top of the hills ). Highly recommend this great value for money outing as view of city are outstanding.
The public spaces felt bit lacking in personality and energy. Staff are pleasant but not proactive about engaging with guests. We chose Atix to be away from the busy and noisy main tourist areas of La Paz. Atix is 30 minute taxi ride from the central area (45 mins to airport) in very upscale residential area. Right location for our needs but if this is your first visit to La Paz it’s not close to tourist areas.

We stayed at Atix Hotel in May 2023. The value for money is fantastic. The pool and bar on the top floor offer great views over the city. The design of the Atix is not standardized but individually designed in an artistically reserved manner. There are good restaurants nearby such as Gustu. The staff deserves an extra star: friendly, helpful and always trying to find a solution. Whether it's tickets for the soccerstadium, recommendations or organizing one or the other. There is a dedicated shuttle and tour service associated with the hotel. The hotel is excellently organized, simply a great choice and can be recommended without any restriction.

Everything! The property is very nice. The room is just like any other modern 5-star hotel. The service is also impeccable. It’s really our sanctuary during our South America trip.
Nothing. I’d highly recommend this property to anyone staying in La Paz

Very nice, ample room, great location.
Noisy. Parties in the pool did not allow us to use it for two days

The hotel is new, with nice facilities and a good staff. The location is a bit further away from the city center however it is close to the cableway for transportation to the city.

An oasis in the best part of La Paz. we were returning from a trip to Uyuni and checked in at an odd time and staff was completely accommodating

the property is nice, the pool is the biggest selling factor and the view from it. bed is not bad and staff was helpful enough. location was perfect for my work with local restaurants and was walkable from where I needed to be
overall the property is simply "fine" it is clean, comfortable, and does what it needs to, for the price compared to others I don't know that it was as good exceptional. I also do not recommend the spa, was not the best experience and not worth the time

Breakfast and massage were excellent. The hotel is not in the center but in a very nice area, shops and some of the best restaurants are close by.

The hotel has a beautiful lobby, decorated with images of Native Bolivians. The staff at the hotel were prompt and helpful. The size of the room was a bit more spacious than I expected and the views of the surrounding mountains made me want to hang out by the windows while I was in the room. Everything in the room was very clean but it is worth mentioning that I truly enjoyed using the shower (lots of water pressure and very hot like I like it). I slept so well that it cost me immensely to wake up so early for my tours.
On the negative side, I must say that the food side of the service was seriously lagging behind the other services. Breakfast was limited to very few options on the menu. Some of the menu items I ordered were not very fresh (coffee for example). The bread tasted like it already had gone past the point of freshness. So, basically, I limited myself to eating fruit (the only thing I liked on the menu).
Unfortunately, I assumed that the beautiful Bar located on the top floor of the hotel would be a place where people meet at the end of the day to have a drink and enjoy the nightly views. I went up twice during my stay only the find a Bartender who was mostly focused on his cell phone. Not one soul showed up while I was up there (8:30 pm-10:00 pm). I did enjoy the Caipirinhas that I ordered but the expectation of a fun place to spend some time relaxing was not there.

Excellent value
The pool area is beautiful at sunset
Big and comfortable beds
Pool is much smaller than it appears in the photos
The food could be improved. Both the breakfast and room service food were ok but not amazing
Overall the service is less than I would expect from a 5 star hotel but then the price is also significantly less so I think it represents excellent value

Extremely nice interiors and rooms, very helpful and friendly staff! Very good breakfast, located in a safe area. You can get to city center easily via taxi or cable car.

The surrounding area feels safe and has some lovely restaurants in walking distance. The restaurant located in the hotel is brilliant with a fantastic choice of food,
My room was spacious and my bed was next level in comfort. It was just spectacular sitting having a coffee and taking in the amazing views each afternoon from the room after a day exploring the vibrant city of La Paz.

many interesting art works and the music in the lobby was cool
the staff service was ok, but I wouldn’t say it was excellent for a 5 star hotel. my room wasn’t cleaned even though I put a sign out to request for clean. also went to use the swimming pool after the staff said it’s open, but only to realize some people were working on the pool so I couldn’t use it.

very good location to the south of the city. comfortable rooms, very good staff
need to make better use of the lobby space. no bar and the pool area needs attention. we had an annoying “buzz” in our room.
