Great place for overnight stay 👍

Cleanliness of not just the room but the whole pub. Friendliness of staff was also very much appreciated.

Only one minor issue ..... the light in the bathroom was very minimal. Needs a simple fix .... a higher level bulb!

Short but very sweet!

It’s very cosy and clean, the bar area is really inviting and overall has a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The room had everything you need and in good condition. But the staff were the cherry on top, really friendly and helpful and made me and my mum feel very welcome and at home.

Good location and lovely people.

Pub was ideal for what we needed. Lovely staff and breakfast. Quiet location and easy to find. Good sized family room (D) with a double and two single beds.

Great pub with good value for money accommodation, tasty grub and clean , quiet and comfy rooms.

Great pub - beer and grub - friendly staff with a good local pub vibe in the bar. The breakfast was great with cereal, juice and a hearty fry up. Room was comfy, quite clean and was en-suite. Nothing not to like!!

Excellent hosts, clean and modern room

The staff were so lovely and friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. It’s lovely to have that personal touch which sets it aside from the big chain hotels. The breakfast was excellent.

Bathroom was a little small but it was clean and had all we needed.

The people who run the place are very nice and friendly . Nothing is to much for them. Have stayed a few times over the years. Evening meal and Breakfast very nice . Evening meal wasn't expensive

Clean , comfortable accommodation with parking and WI-FI that worked well!

The lady who checked me in was lovely and very helpful and welcoming. The room was very clean, warm and there were well stocked teabags and biscuits with a kettle for making a hot drink. Breakfast was great and I would definitely stay here again. The parking was great and there was plenty of room which was very helpful after 7 hours on the road! From the moment I entered the building I was aware that this facility takes cleanliness seriously. Thank you,

Great price, great stay.

It was very close to venue I was going to. There is a fully equipped leisure centre literally right behind the Tavern , so went to use the steam room, a nice way to end a busy day. I even had had dinner at the venue which was very nice, they had a fully functional bar, where some of the locals came for drink and chat. All very friendly. Had no complaints about anything as everything was as it should be. Great place, will definitely stay here again if required. Thanks

Fantastic as always. And thank you for finding our laptop just as we were leaving!

Second time staying at the White Horse, and as pleased as ever with our stay. Our room was clean on arrival and the beds comfortable. Food was excellent as always, along with the service. No complaints whatsoever.

The shower took a while to get warm in the morning, however, this was probably my fault rather than anything else!

My stay was overall comfortable in an ideal location for Lilleshall, food was reasonable too.

I didn’t have time for breakfast so can’t comment on that but I did have a very reasonably priced evening meal. The meal was acceptable but the chips had little flavour so could have been better. The room was great for my needs although the en suite was tiny. However, overall the room was a good size for me and everything was clean. The hotel itself was very quiet so nothing disturbed my sleep.

The mattress I found not particularly comfortable but I realise this is down to personal preference. Car parking was available but the car park was busy and very tight getting in and out. Overall though, nothing much to complain about

Comfortable stay, great value for money.

Friendly helpful staff. Room spacious, clean, good tea tray. We had to leave at 6.45am so the host made us some bacon and veggie sausage sandwiches to take with us. They were delicious! Excellent value for money. Dinner in the pub was also very good.
