Mooi uitzicht en op zich mooie kamer, jammer van de ongeïnteresseerde eigenaar

Het uitzicht is super!

Het ontbijt. Als je klaar bent voor koude toost is dit the place to be. Als je met vier op een kamer slaapt wordt er een bedje bij gezet dat echt niet 100 procent is, heeft ook geen muskietennet. Wat toch wel nodig is. Toen we de rolluik dicht deden in de badkamer viel er een hele nest rode mieren uit. De eigenaar is wel komen kijken en ze bleken ongevaarlijk. Stelde voor om het probleem de dag erna op te lossen. Bon, toen hadden we het zelf reeds geregeld. Top locatie, heel mooi uitzicht en daarmee is alles wel gezegd. Beetje jammer, mocht de eigenaar meer gemotiveerd zijn zou dit een top adres zijn. Maar hij is niet echt geïnteresseerd … onze indruk….

Friendly staff and great location not far from Ella. Using rail way by walk was another great experience.

Heet gastvriendelijk en de gastvrouw wilde je met alles helpen. Goed ontbijt!

Er was een heel mooi uitzicht. De kamers waten ruim Met een ruime badkamer.

Het lag heel afgelegen. Dus om het te bereiken met eigen vervoer was niet zo’n heel groot succes.

Fajnie na krótki pobyt aby zobaczyć Nine Arch Bridge.

Świetna lokalizacja, piękny widok z balkonu i pyszne śniadania.

Czystość pokoju pozostawia wiele do życzenia. Brudna łazienka + przeraźliwy grzyb na ścianie w pokoju, baliśmy się tam spać ze względu na podróż z niemowlakiem i konieczność wdychania przez niego powietrza tam. Naszym zdaniem w trybie pilnym należy odświeżyć pokój u góry.

One of our best stays in Sri Lanka

Dimuthu was super nice, she made us tea two times while we were waiting to check in/out. Apartment is very beautiful and it has one of the best views on valley and mountains. Breakfast was delicious, especially pineapple jam!

Excellent stay, we loved it!

Beautifull clean rooms wit an excellent view. The location is perfect: easy to walk to Ella via the train track in a few minutrs. And the food is just wauw! We had breakfast and dinner, we even had a cooking class here and we loved it!!! Do not look further, book this homestay!

Highly Recommended

Dimuthu and Family gave us good place , tasty foods and good protection . During our stay we felt we stay with our neighbor friends . We asked some foods for our baby and Dimuthu's wife prepared very tasty foods for our baby also. My small son loved that view and place. He needs to stay there on our next vacation also. We didn't face any difficulties during our stay. When we request some needed things they provided very kindly . We wish all the best for Dimuthu's Family . Highly recommend for nature view lovers and calm environment lovers.

Everything! Specially the view from the room. The room was very clean and spacious. Everything we needed was provided. The host welcomed us very good. We recommend this place to anyone going to Ella.

A wonderful stay with a view

The room was very big, clean and equipped with everything you may need: towel, bed sheets, blanket, chargers adaptors, mosquito net, fan… Fantastic was also the view! From the room balcony you can even see a waterfall! Breakfast (very delicious: egg, fruit, roti, toast, tea..) is served on the balcony so you can enjoy it while admiring the nature. Dimuthu and his wife are super nice and make you feel welcomed. They also provide laundry service if needed. The accommodation is 20 minutes by foot from Ella so if you don’t mind walking you can easily get to the main restaurant, shops.. without driving. Reccomended 100%!

Very enjoyable and would definitely stay again

I really enjoyed my stay. I don't think you will find a better view anywhere while enjoying the amazing breakfast which is included. The room is beautifully done. The host is excellent and were very helpful.

I would of like the hot water to be hotter but I feel I am being a little picky

Lovely homestay and host

The bedroom is next to the balcony, which is very nice to step outside and see the amazing view. The host, Dimuthu, is very helpful and kind. The bed is comfy and there is a mosquito net :) breakfast changes a little every day, which is also nice. Sometimes we walked to the city center, other times we used a tuktuk. Its very clean.

It was all very nice. The shower could be a little more hot but that is all.

All good. Beautiful view ... Dimuthu is also a taxi driver, he can manage to drive you some places far.

You can walk easily to the town, however better to organize yourself for the diner or you can ask the guest house also.

Exceptional

The best breakfast view we ever had in Sri Lanka. This is a smal, quiet hotel, very clean, furniture good quality. The bed is comfortable with mosquito net. The room is done with the good taste. The food was excellent and each day different. Dimuthu and his wife are very sympathetic, they drove us to the bus station free of charge. We strongly recommend this hotel.

Best view with waterfall in Ella

The best breakfast view we had in our Sri Lanka trip. Jungle, forest and waterfall all in one. Such a kind family created beautiful home for us. 10/10. All you will regret is that you have no time to stay here longer!

Excelent staff, view and food

The view from the balcony was fantastic as was the breakfast. Excellent curry and Rotti, fresh fruit and juice! Everyone was very friendly and forthcoming. They even arranged a taxi transfer for us from their house to Mirissa. We didn't mind having the train tracks close to the house, as the train only pases a couple of times a day and we were awake for the first one around 7 anyway. It was very handy though for hiking Ella Rock as we got a head start being so close to the tracks leading to the starting point of the hiking path. Thank you again for everything!

The bathroom was fine, but I've seen newer ones. More comfortable seating possibilities would be great.

Dimithu is a good person to support and great breakfast

we have a first floor which doesn’t have full view, but it was good enough

there is no any sign from the main road and last 500 are a bit challenging, but it’s ok for Ella in general if you want to have some view

Amazing place, incredible experience

Breathtaking views, spacious room & bathroom, clean and with modern design. Breakfast was good, host is friendly, organized an excursion for us and drove us to train station. Place is a short walk on railways to center of Ella.

Lovely stay with a lovely view and listening to birds;)

Breakfasts were great, full of different food (also local food) tasty fresh juices and coffe/ tea. They served curry dal, eggs ,hoppers, tosts, bread ,fruit. Amazing service, very nice and communicative owner, if you want they can also prepare dinner, although we ate outside. When we arrived in late afternoon were offered a tea/coffee with bananas and cookies. What is the best about the place is its location, is not in the center of Ella which for us was actually great, but its still walking distance like 10 min to get there by railways -which was also some attraction for us;) the house is situated on a hill among trees,palm trees, is basically green everywhere, you feel like in jungle. I felt there simply amazing sitting on the terrace watching sunrise and listen to birds that give great concert each morning.Fully recommend the place!

Maybe room itself could be soon refreshed -like painting walls it would also maybe remove a small smell in the room I believe is because of some humidity or installations? in bathroom we met some ants, for me was not a big issue but i know for some it is. Basically thats it, those small things i just mentioned were fully compensated by the service, location and the view. Would came back again.

The view.... the room... the breakfast.... the owners.... Everything was amazing... we even had a hairdryer... Coffee and tea making facilities..... If you needed anything you only had to ring the bell..... We loved the buddist chanting in the mornings... The place was soooo relaxing.. The view from the bathroom window was breathtaking..
