Great location and spacious accommodation, parking can be problematic

Great location with spacious accommodation

Parking - it was quite stressful. We only booked the accommodation as it said it could provide parking. I requested parking with booking.com, then was told there was no parking. Then given parking but sent to the wrong place, then to a place where parking was not available. Finally we were offered parking (12 euro) in a different car park but had driven around the center for hour and half.

Pessima attenzione al cliente

Premetto che non ho potuto alloggiare presso la struttura per problemi personali. Non avevo una prenotazione con cancellazione gratuita tuttavia ho provato a chiederla tramite booking ma lo staff non riusciva a rifiutarmela, ciò non mi permetteva di poter cambiare le date del mio soggiorno. Quando chiamavo la struttura per spiegare la situazione continuavano a mettermi in attesa e non rispondevano più, richiamavo e mi dicevano che questo tipo di azioni veniva fatto dalla direzione che però puntualmente era occupata e assente, mi hanno anche consigliato di tenere la prenotazione e farne un,altra direttamente con loro! Dopo giorni e tempo speso per riuscire a farmi rifiutare la richiesta di cancellazione provo a cambiare date (la mia prenotazione lo permetteva entro una data specifica) ma in questo la struttura non si è mostrata collaborante. Mi diceva che dovevo vedere le disponibiltà da booking ma booking mi diceva che non c'erano disponibilità MAI il che mi sembrava strano, quando chiamavo per chiedere conferma mi si rispondeva sempre la stessa cosa (deve farlo con booking, deve dirmi date concrete, ecc...). Insomma, una attenzione al cliente PESSIMA e a tratti anche poco educata. Non sono solita fare recensioni negative (è la prima che faccio) però mi sono sentita trattata veramente male, con poca comprensione e trasparenza. Allego alcuni degli screen delle conversazioni avute con l'attenzione al cliente, a questi andrebbero aggiunti le numerose chiamate direttamente alla struttura e a booking.

Lacks personal touch

Very spacious, near to main attractions

Lacks a personal touch, managed by the brokers. When I asked for recommendations re bike rental I received no reply. When I enquired about a parking for our van with height limitations, I was advised to search the internet. It’s probably common in Spain, but normally when I rent an entire apartment, with kitchen, there are some simple bits left by previous renters, salt, pepper, oil, so that one doesn’t have to buy kgs of items for one night stay. There was nothing in the apartment. A bottle of cold water even would be nice. But this was just a bare minimum. I thought the towels smelled a bit damp too. Great location though.

Perfecto en todos los sentidos

La ubicación es perfecta estás cerca de todo ,es perfecto. Se pusieron en contacto con nosotras vía wuasaps para explicarnos un día antes,preocupándose en todo momento de que todo estuviera bien y perfecto. Nos gustó mucho el trato el apartamento la ubicación.todo en general.

Lo único que no nos gustó mucho fue el colchón pero va por gustos a mi hermano le encantó su cama y a mí la mía no . Y eran iguales por eso al final va por gustos.

Relación calidad-precio muy buena

El alojamiento para 2 personas está muy bien equipado, las instalaciones geniales, cama, baño, cocina y terraza. Además, la ubicación no puede ser mejor, está en el centro de la ciudad. Esta limpio y es cómodo. La entrada y la salida es autónoma a través de un código que facilitan. En cuanto al personal muy bien, me llamaron para confirmar la hora de llegada y fueron muy amables.

Lo que no me gusto fue que cuando te duchabas salía muchísima agua y encharcas todo el apartamento (eche de menos una fregona). Por otra parte, se supone que está insonorizado pero nosotros escuchábamos muchos ruidos de fuera y de los vecinos.

Great stay in every way except the problem with the code on the door.

Great location. The apartment was extremely clean, well equipped and comfortable. Lots of hot water for showers. Helpful staff came in 3 minutes when needed.

It was very difficult to get into the apartment using the code as the door handle went round and round without opening. There must have been a technique to it. We had to make numerous attempts to open the door with different people trying. It became quite stressful as we were scared we might get stuck outside.

Extremely interesting, a fascinating location.

Great location, everything within walking distance, yet quiet and far from the port with the hoards of tourists arriving every morning from cruise ships.

No kettle or coffee making equipment, but it turned out the previous occupants had taken these with them; we got replacements within 1 hour of arriving.

Чудове розташування в самому центрі Картахени. В день заїзду нам змінили номер, через якісь технічні причини, але надали інший чудовий номер з класною терасою. В цілому все супер, можу рекомендувати!

Трошки затримали час заїзду, з маленьким сином який хотів дуже спати, це було трохи нервово. І ще не було штопора, в Іспанії...)

Great stay in a fantastic location, great communication. Very clean and comfortable.

Location. Spent just one night with my husband and son and I can't fault the apartment. It's basic but comfortable and well fitted out. The location is exceptional for seeing the historical sights and the centre

Just small attention to detail. Clocks weren't working as needed new batteries. Door keypad was temperamental but always worked in the end. Very small as everything else was fabulous

The owners need to put some effort into ensuring a safe and comfortable apartment.

The location was good.

The property needs a lot of attention. Black mould in the bathroom, faulty shower head, flickering kitchen light and we needed three electric jugs before one would not trip the electric circuit board and shut down all power in the apartment. There was only aid conditioning in the lounge which struggled in a two bedroom apartment.

Exceptional

Good communication in the lead up to check in where upon I was met by a charming young lady who let me in. These apartments are great! I had one for 1-2 people with a roof terrace. Which got the sun from first thing till around 2-3pm, it was lovely. I thought it was a fantastic location as I love the plaza de San Francisco and all the cafes, bars and restaurants around it. The new archaeology park based on the Roman Forum is amazing! And is just round the corner from the plaza. A short walk will take you to all the shops and the impressive marina with the national maritime museum. I have been to Cartagena more than several times and it is a stunning place, the architecture is special here. And these apartments are a great place to base yourself to explore around it. I am very pleased with my choice.🙂

Great location for a short stay in Cartagena.

The apartment was fine for a short stay in Cartagena. The location is excellent and the parking just across the street was secure and convenient. We were met by a friendly host who explained all the check-in and out procedures very well. The apartment was very clean and comfortable, if a bit dark.

Good stay

Location was ideal, in city centre. The size of the apartment was great, big enough for at least 6 people, and it was just the 2 of us staying. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming.

Quite noisy at night time and also during daytime. There were metallic noises, as if there was a big gate being hit, quite often and this was very disrupting.

Overall a functional apartment in an excellent location for exploring the city, for a great price.

The location was great for exploring the city and its sights. There were lots of restaurants and bars close by too.

The apartment was functional but not particularly cosy. It would have been nice to have had a bathroom towel and shower mat, as well as perhaps a couple of bottles of water left in the fridge. Also the shower head wouldn't stay in the holder, so this needs fixing.

Excellent location and everything we wanted, apart from a bath was in the apartment.

I didn’t feel safe sitting on the settee in the lounge as it wasn’t zipped in and kept sliding forward unfortunately.

Excellent location in the town , walking distance to all the sites , bars and restaurants. Very quiet and comfortable apartment, felt very secure entering and leaving the apartment. Check in was very straightforward and good communication before and during the stay . Had a terrace so was great to sit outside in the morning having breakfast..

Everything worked out well so no complaints.. could do with a few more items in the kitchen for coffee ☕ and basic items like sugar , olive oil etc

Good value for money

Location was fabulous and parking very reasonably priced. Very clean. Beds very comfortable! Good communication from staff. It was basic but very good for price.

The fridge was ready for the bin, cold but very rusty! The mezzanine bedroom was a useful edition but no privacy, no hanging space for clothes, stairs rickety and noisey.. With the installation of interior pipework situated directly above the bed it made sleeping very difficult with the constant sound of dripping and running water which periodically was very loud. It was like Chinese torture.

The apartment had a foul odor in the bathroom and apartment. The noise from neighbors was so loud until at least 2 AM. The loft bedroom had a water pipe directly above that made noise all night. We barely slept. So bright from the window in the living room that shines into the loft bedroom.

A perfect mini get-away with great accessibility for all.

The standard of organisation and friendliness of all concerned with our trip was faultless, well done. The help and guidance we received made a well needed, trouble-free mini holiday so easy to do, we will be back soon.

The only 2 upsets I had was firstly, when enjoying the copious amounts of hot water available , the shower curtain was a little too short to do it's job properly, I made a mess, sorry. The other upset was having to go home eventually.
