Best hotel in Marrakech

Everything was amazing. The hotel is found in a serene neighbourhood of Marrakech, around 20 mins away from the centre. It was easy to get to the centre as the hotel provided drivers for only 10 euro per trip. The hotel itself was stunning and had a peaceful and quiet vibe which was perfect to relax in. The pool was spectacular and all the amenities were very clean. The breakfast, which was included, had a large variety of options and was freshly prepared every morning. The room had a large bath which was amazing, and the room was big and spacious with a ground floor terrace that led out onto the pool. We also visited their spa and had massages, pedicures and also used the jacuzzi which were all so relaxing. We can’t thank Dar Sofil enough for accommodating us for 5 days, especially Hamid who made us feel welcome from the very start. We would also like to acknowledge Medhi, Momo, Ilyas and Morad for their hospitality. We can’t wait to visit again.

The resort was excellent, immaculate, roomy, and well suited to our vacation requirements. It is a lovely and peaceful setting. The staff were on point, had great communication skills, were always cheerful, well-groomed, personable, and happy to assist at any time. Delicious meals were delivered at convenient times that fit our schedules and demands

Exceptional

We recently spent 10 wonderful days at Dar Sofil. The hotel is very private - there were 2 or 3 days when we were the only ones at the pool. The staff, including the waiters, manager, cook, and driver, were super helpful. The arranged restaurant reservations for us and provided valuable tips about the area. The food was really good as well, with almost everything homemade and freshly cooked. Thanks again to the team, including Mohammed, Mehdi, Murat, Sukaina, and Ilias, for making our stay unforgettable.

Peaceful break

The outdoor spaces were amazing and our room was really spacious. The pool area was super peaceful and quiet. Food cooked fresh and tasted wonderful

The shower was quite slow to get warm and often ran out of warm water - but no criticisms apart from that

Pure unadulterated luxury!!

What can you say? If you are looking for a little bit of luxury outside the hustle and bustle of Marrakech whilst still maintaining easy access, then this is your place. This is a true haven and the staff, food and ambience cannot be matched. Two nights at Dar Sofil was the perfect way to start our week in Morocco.

Amazing staff and food. Exclusive feeling but room needs impro

Staff is amazing and always trying to make things best. The villa is amazing and there's only 5 rooms so it feels exclusive. The food at dinner was the best meal we had during our trip.

The water pressure in the shower is very very low. There's a bathtub but it would take hours to fill so we weren't able to use it. That's the only really bad thing we experienced. I think I would have given a 10 if that wasn't the case. (We also found a cockroach in the bathtub but that's just nature I guess) 2 things that are OK but still can be improved: 1) the bed isn't a king bed but 2 single bed together which isn't ideal for a cuddling couple. 2) the pool is amazingly beautiful but is pretty cold (it should be slightly heated during the cooler month to be nice)

An amazing luxurious moroccan experience, just a beautiful peaceful place to stay.

At first I thought that I had been scammed, because the location was in a remote area, with dirt roads and no street lights. But when we arrived at the gate, a beautiful 2door gate, I was floored. Such an incredible beautiful hotel. It was quiet, really arabic with a breathtaking garden and the architecture is also really impressive. The staff was super friendly and our room (deluxe suite) was clean, big and super comfortable, with a big bathtub and a separate toilet. The view from our room was amazing. The overall vibe is just really relaxed, quiet, super comfortable, in every area of the hotel another lovely smell of amber jasmine rose etc. They really pay attention to detail. The staff is super friendly and helpful. It just was a great experience and we will be back for sure.

European living.

if you want an European breakfast it is perfect place. and the breakfast was weak.

It is far away from the downtown and there is no transportation opportunity. There is only hotel private car. and you have to pay every time. For one way it was 10 euro. for come back 10 more euro. everyday at least 20 euro for transportation you pay to hotel if you go 1 time to downtown.

Comfy, clean, beautiful rooms. Only 4 in the hotel so you feel very private and looked after

This place is amazing if you want to get away from the city. The rooms could not be cleaner and more comfortable. Staff where amazing especially Muhammed. Bathrooms and baths where fantastic, big baths with enough hot water to fill. Big enough for two.

The pool is not heated so when we went in December it was a little cold. But beautiful and would be perfect in warmer months. Its a 30min cab from the city. And kind of in the middle of no where, so great if you want some peace and quiet.

the staff were exceptionall and everything was pleasant. we did not have any issues. i would highly recommend this place to friends and family travelling to marrakech.

the location is about 20mins drive from the city centre. however they did provide efficient shuttle service.

What isn’t there to like, it was absolutely amazing. there is also a big plus being the staff, completely professional. Thank you once more to Mohammed, I was poorly at the end of my trip and he made me feel 100% better.

The service was incredible. The staff was always attentive and ready to get us anything we needed. We loved the intimacy of having only a few other guests there and every dinner felt private and romantic. The decor was beautiful and made us feel like we were living in a palace. Whether with friends or on another romantic getaway we would absolutely come back. It was hard to leave the grounds to go into the city because we had so much fun (but they easily arrange transport if you do want to go into town). The rooms were very clean and wifi worked throughout the grounds.

An impeccable oasis of peace with a great standard of service and welcome!

We absolutely loved our stay. Second time back and not last for sure. The building, the big comfortable room, the very relaxing pool area and facilities, all the stuff looking after us so wonderfully and the great food! Thank you to Salma and Mohamed particularly for their very great welcome and for looking after us so well.

The place is a oasis of peace and tranquillity. All the stuff is very welcoming and attentive without begin intrusive or over the top. If you are after a relaxing and warm-welcoming place, Dar Sofil if the perfect place. A small number of room aloes to keep the place quite, the stuff is attentive and the service impeccable. The food is amazing too which is a great bonus among the rest. Massages and spa are also of great standard! We can’t wait to go back!

Perfect comfy and romantic weekend with spouse.

Great Value for Money. Great stuff, super friendly. Big comfy suite. Good quality of food. Breakfast could be improved for a 5* villa, but was great too. Private driver to pick you up or take you to your destination.

Bit far from city center and bad access. Nevertheless, known in advance. So not really a bad point.

I couldn’t fault the team and my experience, I will be staying here if I’m ever back in Marrakesh

Everything was great, from the team (Salma, Medhi & Mohammed & Morad) everyone was exceptional.

Distance to the Medina was around 30mins however you get the benefit of not having too much noise. Transfers to and from the Medina were arranged for me which was more than adequate
