As loud as in a club at night.

The location is next to the port.

During the night, from 11pm till 6:30am the music from the clubs is extremely loud. It was Monday, there was nobody in the clubs and they kept the music extremely loud. You could feel the bass of the sounds vibrating in the bed and your own chest. We had to call the police for the noise and only when they arrived, an hour after we called, they lowered the music to a normal volume. The windows of the hotel are not sound canceller and you can hear even a cat meowing in the streets.

Disappointing Booking.com Hotel Listing & The Unbearable Noise On Weekend

I was disappointed that a hotel can be located on top of 4 night clubs and that Booking.com still sell rooms to people on a weekend, the nightclubs open late and then blast out music from 21:00pm to 07:00am with competing styles of House, Garage, Disco, and Techno, so its a cacophony of noise blasted at you The hotel staff are nice but seem resigned to the fact they will get bashed on checkout by unhappy guests and have a set reply which is "didn't you read the reviews ?", and sorry you cant move out to another hotel without penalty payment of your full stay I was a little annoyed that Booking.com ignored my relocation request completely and never responded to my request to move hotels to one up the road away from the nightclub hotel, they just waited me out till checkout day and ignored the request totally It made for a tiring day exploring Athens after no sleep which spoilt the enjoyment of the visit

I would recommend people read the reviews first and decide if the place is suitable or not, I can assume the hotel is great from Monday to Thursday, the rooms are nice and clean, and the location is good for the port and the staff are friendly But Friday - Sunday if you wish to sleep pack earplugs and a sleeping pill

Une nuit CAUCHEMARDESQUE

Par où commencer ... L'hôtel est extrêmement mal placer. Il est collé à 2 bars/boîtes de nuit... Je vous laisse imaginer le CALVAIRE qu'on a vécu toute la nuit... La musique à fond de 00h à 5h minimum... Et l'hôtel en lui même un désastre... Des photos trompeuse!!! Sur les photos on ne vois pas la disposition exacte de la douche... je comprend mieux pourquoi !!! Malheureusement j'ai pas pensé à prendre de photos pour vous mettrez la réalité ! Pour prendre une douche on a du limite enjambés les toilettes.... Et ne parlons même pas des savons laissé pour se laver le corps avec ... INEFFICACES ! Le lit à moitié fait! Une ampoule qui a grillé avant notre arrivé... Le balcon qui COMMUNIQUE avec la chambre voisine !!! Que dire d'autres... Je ne vous recommande pas du tout d'y prendre une chambre.

The room was very small. The bathroom was very small, you can't make a shower there. It was noisy street.

This hotel has been left with one night. It's horror! Water in a washbasin is not washed away. In bed bugs !!! And the bonuses became a disco below, they are immediately 2. Music is so vowel that we did not fall asleep at all. Even if you are one night better on a bench. I do not advise!

Notghing besides the fact that it was near the port

It was dirty, small, full of insects and a lot of noise from the club under our window. They got out the boxes to be sure we feel like in a 90s discoteque. We couldn't sleep at all. It was a nightmare.You shouldn't exist.

proximity to the harbour

the experience was terrible. The facilities that were supposed to be available were missing: no hairdryer, no toilet paper, and the toiletries consisted of only two bars of soap. Additionally, the sheets and towels were dirty, with hair everywhere. However, the worst part was something else: the room overlooked a courtyard, and when we arrived, the bathroom window was open. As a result, the room was filled with mosquitoes, and we couldn't sleep all night because of them.

Wrose place to stay , very loud music like a concert from bars ,night club on til 9am!Not nice area

next door and front hotel are night club and bars. Very loud music like a concert from 11pm til 9 am in the morning none stop!

Hotel is not in nice area, not feel safe to walk around, next door are a few night club and bars ,music so loud from outside like a concert was on from 11pm til 9 am ! Even through the window were close but still hear music so loud , I can not sleep all night by the time of the music stop at 9 am it was the time to get ready to check out. I am alone with my daughter and reception put me in the room Infront of these night club and never inform me to aware of this loud music from bars and night clubs, as when I check in around 6pm look so quiet and I did not realize later on it was this bad, I felt very disappointed. Very hard to find parking and not feel safe to park near by as lot of drunker and not look safe area ,I have to park in marina and get taxi back to the hotel. the hotel look small the way in and dark at the reception don't look good impress when I first saw it ,little light on at the hall way ,look like it was close from outside, I was not sure when walking in as I can not see anyone there from outside as the check in counter is hidden behind the stair. Staff not seem helpful when I asked where I can find park I did not get information or advise me where I can find parking.

Awful ! I didn’t sleep at all location near port for early ferry only redeeming feature

Location was chosen due to the proximity of the port as I had a very early ferry next morning

It was a Sunday night My room was streetside right over a number of music venues that were blasting competing gentries of music at very loud decibels I could not even hear the tv in the room with closed windows easily -I asked reception at around midnight and they said it would go on until 3-4 and it was noted on site! It was still going at 6am when I left after no sleep ! She did find me some earplugs but didn’t help

VERY NOISY.

Location was good, near ferry port. near shops, good connections to tourist areas. good public transport.

Hotel was right in the middle of 3 night clubs where music started from 11pm till 8am. very very loud. need to get ear plugs. room said balcony, which there was none. room looked like had suffered a flood at some point as units had water damage. shower was more like an unfinished wet room but had to use the shower as hand shower, no connection to use above head. rooms needed good decoration. very noisy fridge. Room was very small, with one small window, which opened onto 4 air-conditioning units. so hot air coming in , 37deg outside, which is not good. room was on the 4th floor, which seemed it was unfinished. stayed for 4 night, which felt like 4 weeks.

Proximity to Gate 9 for early morning ferries.

Although warned in advance of noisy location in reality it was terrible and never stopped all night. Just bang bang boom loud beat “music”, so called. A definite minus point for an otherwise OK place.

Being above three nightclubs and having arrived late at 1.30 in the morning it didn't help that music was blaring out to gone 3.00 am!!! Having a room at the back of the hotel would have been ok

We had a very bad experience at Lux hotel! We arrived there at 2 AM and next to the hotel, two open night clubs were playing extremely loud music. The music kept playing till 6:30 in the morning on a Monday!! Furthermore, we had to leave early in the morning to catch a Ferry at 8 AM and we ordered breakfast online (so we already paid for it), but the breakfast was not opened at that time (no one told us). We asked to get our money back, but they totally refused. Rooms were ok, but we don’t recommend this place at all!!

i guess the only think i liked was the price. but you get what you pay.

the hotel is located in the middle of major nightclubs. blasting music till 8am in the morning. the noiselevel is so high that not even earplugs help you to get a decent sleep. if you like to be in the middle of pireaus's nightlife thats the place to be, otherwise I would stay away.
