I loved the quiet little town. It had everything I needed and easy bus ride to the Amalfi Coast and Bomerano where I started the path of gods hike to Positano. The family were very warm and friendly and I enjoyed eating in their restaurant at the home stay. Breakfast was great and I was always welcomed with a nice smile.

The staff is super friendly and helpful. The food is great, and the room is cozy and clean (and has beautiful glow in the dark stars painted on the ceiling).

Loved the hosts. Food was gorgeous. Room was massive with plenty of sleeping. A nice little balcony.
If I was to critique anything the shower could be updated and the mattress while comfortable enough I could still feel some springs. A topper could sort this.

I really recommend this place - it is peaceful, owners treat you as part of the family. I ate much too much :) Breakfast is plentiful, and dinners are bargain. Room has everything that you need - when I arrived in May, it was cold, so the heating was on. I was really grateful for it. Bed is very comfortable. I had room with a balcony with a view over the Mediterranean Sea. Everything was really clean. Owners speak with limited English, but it's more than sufficient. There is a steep path leading to the hotel/restaurant, which might cause trouble for people with limited mobility.

The hosts were very kind and accepted us last minute (cf we had an issue with another reservation). we took dinner and breakfast at the agriturismo and this was delicious (the ricotta was divine) and in the right quantity.
Just be careful that the place is quite far from the coast so ideal if you want to combine with countryside visits, walking etc but less adapted if you only want to visit the Amalfitan coast.

The breakfast was excellent. So many options for food. The fresh cheese was delicious. The second morning we asked if they could make some scrambled eggs and they did! Go ahead and plan on at least eating dinner here- excellent food! We really enjoyed our dinner experience and people come here just to have dinner so make a reservation with them. The family was very kind and always ready to help.
We were such a big group (8) that we had to rent a big van. They place does have parking, but we didn't feel comfortable with the tight walls to get down to the parking spot taking a rental van that way. So we had to park up the hill. It is on a steep slope- if you have a small car you will be fine. The google spot on the map got us close- but it was hard to get there in such a big van. The hosts did a great job answering the phone and walking us to where we could park and be, even when we had to arrive 2 hours later than was expected.

Very clean and comfortable room. Good value and tasty meals featuring local produce. Very pleasant and friendly owners/staff. To reach Bomerano, the start of the Path of Gods you can drive there and park in a free car park in the square.
Access to the parking area is along a very narrow street which requires care not to damage your car.

The specified address in booking is incorrect, when i was arrived in specified place, i have to find out the exact location of the accommodation facility by my one, the host did not answer the phone. Keep in mind that there is a cafe on the first floor, so there is a lot of noise in the rooms on the second floor. During my stay, the noise didn't stop until 1 am.
Also when I arrived the host wanted to give me an inferior room, not the one I had booked. I got my room only after I made it clear that I do not agree to live in an inferior room and will only move to the one I paid for.

The room and bathroom were spacious and spotlessly clean. The food is amazing and very decently priced. The family are extremely nice and friendly and look after you well. While they have little english, communication was fine. Great location. San Lazzaro is a great base for visiting the Amalfi coast with connections and one bus brings you directly from Naples in approx an hour.
You have to walk up a rather steep hill to get there but it’s worth the small hike.

Zi Carmine is located up a hill in the green heart of Agerola off the centre of a small town with shops, a playground and great view of the hills and coast. It was a great base for us to explore the Amalfi coast, spend time picking flowers from the nearby fields with our kids or pet the neighbour’s goats.
The family run Agriturismo offers exquisit, home-style Italian cuisine at incredible value for money. The rooms are very clean, made fresh every day, but the mattresses (as we’re now used to in our stays in Italy) are quite hard spring mattresses. The highlight in our family room was the stars on the ceiling when the lights were off. Especially our kids couldn’t get enough of them. The bathroom was very clean.
Mattresses are quite hard. The bathroom, especially shower/bath could be improved (warm water, shower design). Also, more outlets or split outlets for cellphone charges would be helpful.
If the rooms would be at the same level of the friendliness of the host family and the brilliant food, they would havw to be at a much higher rate per night.

Charming agriturismo with very clean rooms, hot water, and great host family. Food was terrific and like eating at a local family restaurant. This is excellent value for something a little different while exploring Amalfi coast

This place was really wonderful to stay at. I felt like part of the family that runs it, everyone is very nice and friendly, even though we couldn't communicate freely in English. The food was always really excellent, from breakfast to dinner. There's a view to the Ocean and it's really well located to really fantastic hikes around Amalfi coast such as the Path of Gods, the Valle dele Ferriere, or simply walking to Amalfi using the infinite stairs down the coast. All my needs were fulfilled generously, included doing a clothes wash, a drives to town with all my luggage and a very late check-out. The WiFi was also really good, as I had some zoom calls for work every now and then. Also surprisingly well connected by bus to Amalfi, Napoli, Positano.
Nothing really. Maybe the rain, but that's not everyone's fault :)

Amazing, quiet place, perfect for families, friends or solo travellers. The hosts (whole family) above and beyond, so helpful, warm and lovely people. The rooms were cleaned every day. Breakfast- so delicious and more than you can eat. As the owners run a restaurant, you can eat there lunch and dinner as well - fresh, home made meals, amazing home wine. The portions are massive so better be hungry 😁. If you'd like to grab a pizza, there are few places in San Lazzaro you can have really good one. Do not miss that place. It's really amazing.

I liked everything from the fact that the staff was very friendly and thee place was extremely clean. The breakfast included is amazing and traditional. A highly recommend place. What more you need when a restaurant is just below.

I absolutely adored my 3-night stay at Zi Carmine. I needed a quiet place to rest and enjoy some nature and some good Italian home cooking. Zi Carmine exceeded all of my expectations! The price was excellent, the food was wonderful & plentiful and great value for the money. The family is warm & welcoming. It's perfect, even a cute tiny Nonna helping in the kitchen and walking around. Bellissimo. I recommend to learn some Italian before you go :)
Good to know: It's possible to visit here and get to all of the nearby hikes without a car, but maybe a car or Vespa would have made my journey easier.

Everyone was amazing and went out of their way to make this stay exceptional. They really care about their guests and are very knowledgeable of the area.
The food served at the restaurant was delicious and affordable.
If you like hiking, this is the place to be. The location is great for that, and there is an InfoPoint in town if you need to purchase maps.
I highly recommend!
