The cabin was very cute and clean. A/C was advertised, but non-existent. The temperature was not bad, so it wasn’t a huge issue.
Little things like creamer for coffee and salt and pepper would be a good addition to the kitchen.
The outdoor fire pit was awesome.
My biggest complaint is that we didn’t see the email about not using GPS until after we got up to the cabin and the GPS took us a dangerous way. This information needs to be on the description. For example, please say that the host will send you directions right on the description of the site. Once we knew the correct way to get up there, it was a safe and easy route.
Overall, once we got settled in and had the correct directions up to the cabin, it was a great experience.
Also, being close to the Nantahala Outdoor Center was a huge plus.

We booked a cabin, drove 5 hours there, arrived at 8:30 at night to find somebody staying in the cabin. We had to drive 30 min. back out for reception to call the host. She finally called us back and apologized and blamed it on the owner of the property. Our money was immediately refunded except for the insurance policy purchased. I am being told that I can't be compensated for my time lost and the gas spent driving.

Wonderful quiet retreat with a bubbling stream right by the cabin. Hubby fished in the small lake that was walking distance from the cabin. My favorite was the campfire at night by the stream. Everything except food was provided. We loved it and will be back again!

The Mountain View, River, and lakes are beautiful.

Our trip was the best ever. Although it was the coldest weather we had been in, it was so exciting to see the ice in the river and the snow on the side of the roads to the cabin. The cabin was so cute and perfect. Everything was so pretty and the decor was perfect for the setting.

Great little remote cabin. Picturesque setting with creek burbling nearby. The cabin comes with all the basics plus WiFi and TV. The host is very responsive and attentive. I highly recommend if you're looking to get away and experience the smoky's. The trip up is from the valley puts you inside a painting. Really beautiful, pristine scenery.

Very nice place! Only don’t go up or down the gravel road ! Always turn to the left when leaving the cabin! Somehow the way I followed the directions and our GPS took us up the gravel road when we arrived. An experience I will not soon forget. 😂. Overall had a good stay. Once I saw my Grandchildren all was well!!!

We stayed here for a few nights in March 2022 and absolutely loved it. No problems with internet or house. Our dog was in heaven with the yard and stream on the property; you practically had to beg her to come instead. Follow owners driving directions and you will run parallel with the Nantahala River coming to/from cabin. Felt safe; cabin had everything needed. It can be hard to please a teen but this trip did; we talk about visiting again.

Beyond Our Expectations
The location of this little mountain gem is amazing!!!! You could here the steady stream of water as it moved down the stream - so beautiful. Sitting on the front porch we watched hummingbirds flying from tree to tree as if they were putting on a show just for us. Queens Creek is a short distance away for fishing. Going up and down the mountain was not a problem - sometimes deer were along the roadside. I could go on and on!!!We had a wonderful time and cannot wait to return. Thank you!!!!!!!!

Almost Heaven
If your looking peace and relaxation this place is it. Inside a gated community the cabin is pretty much too itself without neighbors under you. It is in the forest very peaceful. You will not have cellular signal, and I couldn't get wifi to do wifi calling, but there is a cordless phone in the cabin. We will definitely want to return here on another vacation. Highly recommend it. Note bring all you need, as the closest grocery store is about 35 mins away which isn't far. We came prepared.

We loved the rustic cottage that was nestled inside a gated community and beside a beautiful little mountain stream! The house was equipped so we can cook our meals and the heating was very warm. Firewood and fire starting material was provided for the outdoor fire pit which sat beside the stream. A very nice Ingles grocery store was located 30 minutes away in the small town of Andrews. There was a cold draft in the bedroom coming from a window that would not close properly. There was a heater nearby that helped keep it warm. We loved the location because it was far enough away to help you feel secluded but within reasonable driving distance of Bryson city, Nantahala outdoor center, and Franklin. The hot water heater worked well, the washer and dryer were a real bonus and the bedding was very comfortable. If you want more options on the TV you may want to bring your own Roku or fire stick. We did this and were able to enjoy the selections much more. The Wi-Fi was very intermittent during rain however when the rain stopped it seem to work fine. There was no cell service with Verizon or T-Mobile, therefore requiring Wi-Fi calling.

Magical like story book
We have stayed in fancy cabins n in resorts around Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. This time we wanted something more real, rustic with character. We wanted a cabin away from everything except nature. This fit the bill. The property is so beautiful. Nature was on full display. Property manager Trully was amazing, very sweet, and great communication throughout our stay. If we come back to this area we will definitely come back to this cabin.

Coziest Cabin Getaway
Let me just start by saying this place exceeded our expectations! The cabin itself was so cozy, but what made it so spectacular was the setting and area surrounding it! Incredible mountain views just a short walk away, lots of mature trees and foliage, and the quietest, most peaceful ambiance. We loved and will be coming back!!!!

Beautiful Place
We have stayed here 3 times. It is serene and beautiful. This isn't a fancy cabin with all the bells and whistles....which is what we love about it. It is clean, comfortable and in a gorgeous location. All the basic necessities are there. Pack all of your meals to save the need to travel the whole time. We look forward to next year.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Very peaceful, temperature just right, mid 70's day, low 60's at night. Bed was very comfortable. We saw a couple of deer while relaxing on the porch. Got to meet a couple of neighbors up the mountain, very friendly and helpful.

LDW Mountain Getaway - Nantahala
Lovely little cabin tucked away in the mountains. The property this cabin is located on is spectacular! There are ton of little streams running everywhere plus a pond full of fish for catch & release and a nice little pavilion with a gas grill overlooking the pond. Plenty of hiking trails throughout the property and only a 20 min drive from the Appalachian Trail. 30 min drive from the Nantahala Outdoor Center which has plenty of activities. Overall the cabin itself was great and very comfortable. One minor issue where the water stopped working for a few hours but the host had the issued fixed right away. Definitely will be back to visit this area again!

This cabin is cute, and I loved the stream that runs beside it on the property. It’s in a somewhat quiet location. We really liked the location. We walked a bit on the trails and drove to the top of the mountain and the stars and moon were beautiful and seemed so close. We spent some time at the Nantahala Outdoor Center…cool place. All of that being said, we would not stay at this place again. It was very dirty to say the least. I wore flip flops in the shower because the shower floor was filthy, it needs some serious scrubbing. The refrigerator had not been cleaned, it was empty but dirty. I could go on and nitpick but I won’t. Those two things will keep me from renting this property again. I hate to give bad reviews.

Serene
We all loved the serenity of the location. We enjoyed the trails and the catch and release pond as well. We lost phone and Gps service coming up mountain though. Glad we brought all groceries too. It's a drive to nearest grocery store. Wish we could have stayed a little longer just to enjoy it a little longer.

Wonderful stay in remote north carolina
This cabin and adjoining property are amazing - we are already planning another trip. Please be aware, however, that town is about 30 minutes away, so be smarter than us when it comes to packing all your supplies! The cabin is neat and tidy, and has all you need to make meals. There is a perfect tree grove to hang a hammock, and make sure to bring carrots for the horses next door!

I love this cabin. Everything about it was wonderful. Cleaning staff could do a better job.
I thought the entire place gave off fairy vibes. My daughter and I loved the property. We will be returning this summer.

We enjoyed our 4 night stay. Easy check in/out. The cabin is a drive up the mountain and we had limited cell service. A couple recommendations to anyone staying is to download your map or any travels plans you are making so the map is preloaded. Either at home or prior to leaving the cabin. The internet works well in the home or on the porch. We used Apple maps and it was inline with the owners directions to the cabin. Stock up at the grocery store. It is a drive anywhere you go! The home has plenty of your needed cookware, utensils, glassware, plates, bowls, and linens. There is a gas grill although the booking states there is a charcoal one. I contacted the owner suggesting a fire extinguisher would be great for safety concerns and one was provided the same day. We recommend this cabin. Giving a 5 star rating.

Beautiful location!
We loved our stay in this magical cabin! It was the perfect location for a quiet, short trip to the mountains. The house had everything we needed for our weekend. The only negative was the mattress on the pull-out sofa. With 2 adults and two teens we needed to use the sofa, but the mattress was more like springs wrapped in plastic. If this is replaced the place would be perfect!

Mountain Getaway
The directions were ok, but could be better. Like maybe say turn left onto Wayah Rd when you see the Nantahalla High School sign. The cabin was nice, cozy and away from other people. The pull out couch is not comfortable at all. We would bring a blow up mattress next time if we needed an extra bed. We couldn't get the wood burning stove to vent properly and the fire pit outside is way to close to the pine tree to have a fire. So not having a fire while we were there was kind of disappointing The cabin is close to trout waters for fishing, which was nice. For the most part the cabin was nice and I would recommend it. When we left we took the gravel road down the mountain (a local person told us about it) and it had some nice views with no traffic.
