Good facilities for reasonable price considering high season
People gathering outside main door smoking and making a lot of noise after 22;00. Can hear it clearly in the rooms. Move smoking area to a back area

message to the staff, thank you so much for offering solo travelers as myself an affordable chance to see this wonderful place and the amenities that this room was equipped with, were exactly what I needed for my stay at Svolvær. This town is like a dream. I also like to defend some of the complaints that I've read, nobody is really inconsiderate. It seemed to me that you need to slam the doors firmly shut so did the entrance doors as the springs in them were really firm, it's not because I did that deliberately. I was absolutely unlucky with the weather, only a few hours away before total summer drought in this part, but when it was chucking it down here it will simply start to smell like a pair of wet Wellies. just don't forget about that
the codes, you know what happened that day, if you know you know, absolute horror if you don't have a place to stay the night, but if you are really out of luck, you can try to sleep inside the ferry terminal waiting room. It seemed to be heated, has benches and a public convenience

Easy self check in. Room size and location was good.
No free parking
8.0 / 10.0
The services offered by the hotel were as expected. Clean. Large spaces (the room and bathroom). Cooler for drinks & foods. Easy check-in. The hotel is situated near the center (with terraces and restaurants) of the city. You have public parking (using EasyPark app) in front of hotel. Svolvaer is the point of start for Floya Hike.
No basic bathroom items (shampoo, shower gel, soap). No glasses for water / juice. Very limited spaces public parking. Another cheap parking, Svolvaer Sentrum 8055, situated at 300 meters.

Location for ferry town and bus stoop out
Lift not working
6.0 / 10.0
+ very good location between ferry and car rental, right in the city center and amazing sushi place right next to the hotel
+ fast self check-in
+ kettle in the room
- it’s bit “cold” without any staff around
- elevator wasn’t working, or maybe we just don’t know how to use it :))
- smell from the bathroom when we arrived, after using ok
- bit dusty

it lived up to all expectations for an economy hotel with no onsite staff
no coffee machine or availability (coffee machine in lobby not working)

I didn’t find any breakfast
The access code to the entrance is meant to end with a hashtag # so I attempted several times to get in as the code given did not indicate the hashtag #️⃣
Then the street name was also confusing… in the end I went to the other Fast Hotel and realized this was not the right one … then back to the Svolvaer one… I added the Hashtag and then I managed to get in … The Room on the other hand did not require a Hashtag… Then again this morning I was struggling to get in with my access code…but after several attempts it finally worked ..Extremely frustrating and confusing….

Good location, the room was nice.
Everything is digital and there was no staff, a lot of problems needed to be fixed (the toilet was broken, the reading light didn't work etc) and no one to tell.
The elevator was small and scary. The design was all depressingly gray.

Fine, perfunctory, the automated check-in process went smoothly. It's v close to the ferry terminal which is good for a late arrival. The room had a bathroom, bed and desk which is all you ever need I suppose.
No laundry or left luggage. My room had the loudest, squeakiest (broken) blind mechanism I've ever encountered, and the window was a bit difficult to shut.

The location of this hotel is great. This is a very good accommodation especially for the budget people. Very close to the city center from where you can take buses and ferries. There are restaurants and shops around. This is more a kind of hostel without reception. It's a self-check-in hotel where you get a message with the code for entering the room, so if something goes wrong it would be a bit difficult to get help. This is a suitable accommodation for a short stay.
There’s a kettle, but no cups. No parking included.

If I paid less I would expect less, but with the money spent the valu is just not good enough.

great location, close to ferry terminal
overpriced for not being maintained well. 2/3 lamps in room were not functioning. not enough towels, shower doors do not confine water. water leaked into the threshold between room and bathroom. long term this is not good for the flooring in the room.

This is an automated hotel with key codes to enter the building and your room. There are almost no facilities available but we bumped into the cleaners who were very helpful and friendly. We parked our car right in front of the hotel - free parking when we were there. The location is very central and right opposite the Lofoten War Memorial Museum (very interesting private museum). There are also nice restaurants nearby.
The rooms were very clean and we had a standard triple room which was very spacious. Modern Scandi decor and comfortable beds.
It's quite expensive and not having any staff present on site means that it is just a little bit more difficult to get assistance if required.

easy check in
small rooms

It's super central and everything is pretty much 3 minutes away.
- The shower. The drain was clogged and the whole floor is flat, which turns the enitre bathroom into a pool. There are no barriers so showering was really inconvenient.
- No air-conditioning. The room was scorching hot.
- The doors are not easily close able so you have to pull them reallg hard. Now imagine sleeping and your neighbour comes in late.. horrible.
- No coffee or tea.
- No reception.
- No soundproof walls.
No value for money. Outdated hotel needs fixing and modernisation.
