The main lady was very very friendly. Even remembered names during our 4 day stay. Great environment and good bbq on rooftop! Clean. Comfy. Good value. And within walking distance to everything

Sehr gute Lage und herzliche Menschen! Besonders das BBQ auf der Dachterasse war toll!

The price of the accommodation is good value for a hostel like this.
Nice lady boss who is always happy to help with my requests.
Breakfast is freshly prepared on request, I liked the avocado scrambled eggs toast. But it will look different from the menu pictures. Still, it is just a dollar plus, so it’s a good starter for the day.
Hostel lobby/lounge is nice place to hang out.
And the evening BBQ is a good place to hang out with other travellers and trade stories.
Wifi is ok in the room and rooftop.
Do try the cloud-hunting tour, or rent a bike to go to the nearest peak in the morning.
Water pressure is low but ok. You will have to adjust the lever precisely to get a good mix of hot and cold water.

We stayed for 2 nights in a private room in Mooka's home. The minute you enter this homestay you can tell it is well kept and well run. The common area and bathroom is spotless. The room was bright and spacious and once again spotless. The hostess is super! She helped us by organising a tour and even Whatsapped us the morning of the tour to take our breakfast order so that we wouldn't run out of time and miss breakfast (we were cutting it a bit tight). A really thoughtful host and we felt so taken care of. The food is also delicious. In addition to eating breakfast and lunch we also did the barbeque on the roof on one night. The food was fresh and delicious and it was a lovely way to meet other people. Overall I'd highly recommend you stay here while visiting Da Lat.

Very personal touch. The rooftop BBQ was superb! Very nice way to get to know fellow travellers. They fixed us a tour on our second day for a good price and of excellent quality.

Everything is great.
Bbq diner is wonderful, dorms are comfortable, have a lot of space, and the bathroom is clean.
The owner is a wonderful and very helpful person.

The host was incredibly nice! The building looked good and everything was well taken care of. The bbq night was a great idea and everything tasted very well. We had a very pleasant experience here!

Big and comfy bed with 2 lockers, one for smaller valuables and one for the bag, very clean, incredibly tasty hostel dinner (also for vegetarians), really friendly and helpful owner, great breakfast included in the price, nice common area
The door to the bathroom in my dorm couldn’t be closed, so you could hear people shower and going to the toilet. The toilet door also made a lot of noise when closing it as there was something wrong with its hinge. If these two things would not have been, I’d have given the hostel a 10/10.

Mooka’s is a super nice hostel. Our private room was good and was very clean. The owners are incredibly nice and will help you with everything.
The room always seemed to be a little bit foggy, but i think that’s more the weather in Da Lat than the hostel itself
4.5
Both the dorms and private rooms are very spacious and comfortable. We booked a private room for the night and because of the night bus got in very early but couldn’t check in. While my friend done the tour, the receptionist gave me a bed in the dorm to sleep until our room was ready.
Super easy to rent bikes and organise tours. Breakfast could be ordered the night before and was very good.

Staff: the staff is a really patient and helpful lady, i checked in very late at the first day(nearly 19:00) and she still allowed me to join the barbecue(pretty good food) in very last second.
Facilities: The toilet is clean and always with hot water, very wide and clean beds, rooftop is available for everyone to use and you got a pool table as well.
Food: the food is excellent(barbecue) and the breakfast(only 30k dongs and they are really good chefs)
Tour: I joined one in one day advance, the tour is good and very informative, the guide showed me around the whole Da Lat city and he is really passionate and try to show me as much as he can.

this might be my favourite hostel I’ve stayed in so far. I can’t recommend it more. the staff were all so lovely and helped me to organise everything, including an amazing easy rider tour of the local waterfalls and temples, my transport, and a delicious breakfast every morning which catered for my allergy (coeliac). the barbecue on the roof was also amazing, and such a good way to meet other guests. the hostel was also super hygienic - they gave us slippers and made us take off our shoes on arrival which meant the floors were super clean, even in a 10 bed dorm, unlike some hostels I’ve stayed in. the beds were also super comfy and the rooms were spacious.

This is one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed at!!
•Van is the best host ever. She is so friendly and really goes above and beyond to make sure everyone is happy in her hostel. She is also very knowledgeable about good restaurants and activities in Da Lat.
•Great place to stay if you’re working remotely! The WIFI in the rooms is so fast! 100mbps+!
•Very fun atmosphere with a rooftop hangout area with a pool table, and there are lots of games and board games to play.
•The breakfast is delicious and very reasonably priced.
•There is always free coffee, tea, and bananas.
•The private rooms are super clean and tidy. Mine had a desk in it which was great. Cleaning is also provided every other day.
•Every other day there is an optional barbecue dinner which was a fun way to meet people!
Amaaaazing hostel!!

Great staff, clean accommodation. Owner goes above and beyond to make sure you have a comfortable stay. The prices for buses, tours, beers and food are all “local” price, no up selling. The hostel is a bit out of downtown (20 minute walk to night market) but that makes it quiet and peaceful.
Bed is cozy and comfortable.
Loud chicken/dogs in the morning (typical of Vietnam). Bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper

Our room (private room) was really big.

Everything! The room and bathroom was clean and there was shampoo and shower gel offered. The hosts were super nice, gave us many recommendations on where to go and what to do in Da Lat. She even booked us the bus to Mui Ne. The breakfast was included in the price and was good. We would definitely stay there again and can highly recommend it!

What a great find! I stayed one night in a private room and one night in the dorm, and both were super. Most comfy dorm bed I think I saw in all of Vietnam. Van, the owner, is great at making everyone feel at home and you can tell she is personally invested in making this a welcoming place. I highly recommend the rooftop bbq: tasty food and a great way to get to know a few people in the hostel. Really enjoyed my time here!

Van helped us for our short stay and she was one of our highlights in Vietnam - so kind and funny, and able to help us without being pushy. Thank you Van for being awesome :)
The towels were a bit hard from how they were cleaned and the bathroom smelled a bit due to lack of ventillation. The room was very big though.
4.5
nice spatious rooms, privacy in the bed and lockers.
bathroom door to dorm would not close.. not very nice when someone’s in the bathroom while others sleep. Bed is very hard (usual for Vietnam)

Everything is so clean since the lobby to the room and toilet also bed and pillow and blanket are comfortable for the cold weather in Da Lat. I took a night bus and arrived at the morning, luckily the staff let me do early check-in. (Thank you so much) The staff was very helpful and nice. The atmosphere of this hotel is really good. Everyone is so nice and friendly. It feels so cozy and warm in this hotel. Love this sooo much. 😚
a little bit noisy from the outside.

Really amazing hosts, very friendly and helpful. They organise a BBQ several times a week on the rooftop of the hostel. They do a delicious breakfast too, the rooms and beds are spacious, the shower/toilet faclities are very clean and working well. There s free coffee and tea all day long and you get a towel for showering for the duration of your stay.
All in all just a great place!

The host was incredible! Was so kind and helpful! The location is perfect for exploring Da Lat. The BBQ on the roof was amazing, such a lovely experience. Great breakfast too! Wish I could’ve stayed longer.
This is the perfect hostel as they’ve really got everything you need: curtains, storage, conveniently placed plugs, a towel rack and a shelf! Also was great to have a duvet as it gets chilly in the evenings. Thank you so much!

The lady-owner Van is a lovely person. Speaks good English; light hearted.
She helped to book a tour for me. It turned out to be an easy rider tour with Tri, and was really informative and interesting. Tri is a very considerate rider and guide - gave detailed information at each of the places we visited; made sure I was comfortable; very experienced guide.
