Clean
The high volume of music till late on regular days

Right in the middle of the town. Lovely place.
Some guests just never close the door and there is no point in having a smokers area if the door is open and smoke is always getting in. I had to close the door everytime and I'm sure I annoyed some guests, but I hate eating and smelling tobacco.

The spacious toilets
the kitchen was not clean

The mattress is very comfortable. There is nice bar. All staff are welcoming and available to help us with everything. They make sure the bathroom is clean.

Comfortable clean beds, very central location, equipped kitchen. Overall good experience and affordable price.
The light in the showers turns off just after few minutes and has a motion sensor outside so if there's noone else using the bathroom, you'll need to take a shower in the darkenss.

Staff and "idea".
Location (despite a bit far from Camino ;)).
Noise on the corridors and doors. Kitchen not very clean.

The facilities were amazing (although cleaning could be better)
Great location and staff did their job.
The hostel had some weird drug user/homeless types there. Not a great traveler vibe.

the bed is amazing, the bathroom is great, I loved everything

Everything was great except…
They had a DJ in the hotels bar every night until four in the morning and no one warned us about that. There’s a big difference between expecting some late night noise because of the city fair and a DJ just below us every night. I simply could not get any rest before the music stopped which was a problem because I worked at the fair during the day and night. ll.

The focus is clearly on the Hotel, not on the Pligrim's Hostel. When you arrive tired after a long walk and the Hotel Bar is open, but you see a sign saying that the reception just opens at 16:00, then it is dissatisfying but somehow acceptable. When you are informed at 16:00 that the receptionist will come at 17:00 this is annoying. No excuse, just "reception always opens at 17:00". Asking why the sign and Booking.com indicate 16:00, the answer just was: "this is not my job to take care of".
On top, music and shouting until late after midnight.
Pilgrims be aware of that and think twice to book there.

The staff are very helpful.
Even I came earlier at 3:30, they allowed me to rest in the bar and did the registration very soon.

Nice, easy going and very helpful staff. Comfortable rooms, which are vaulted to feel even larger. Location was excellent and beautiful, close to the train, stores, and other services. Hiking trails are nearby as is the Camino. Easy to catch an uber there (usually). When it rains it is even more beautiful. Wifi was pretty stable, and when it wasn’t you could just use the Feira free wifi. One of the best hostels I have been to.
Only issues were two things:
A group from India, staying there long term, completely took over the kitchen every evening (all day on weekends) like it was there own, and did not bother to clean it (or the fridge) sufficiently. Also, they TRASHED the bathroom (despite the best efforts of housekeeping) to the point it was not comfortably usable.
The other issue was that the noise from the town square and its many restaurants and bars continued deep into the night, sometimes until 3 AM, and this was everyday. The younger residents of the area like to have good times all night and into the early morning, even on weekdays.

Great location in the heart of Santa Maria da Feria. Staff were very helpful.

Perfect place to stay

The location, the facilities, very good value for money
The ground floor bedrooms face to a bar / lounge big tend in an inner patio. The most awkward moment is when you open the curtains and find yourself watching a football match with a few more people in the lounge

The location is great. Very comfortable bed. Very friendly staff, always ready to help.
It could have the option to get a standard breakfast (in the kitchen).
