very esoteric with beautiful grounds. I loved the full kitchen in #9. the beds were comfortable. only there 2 nights but, I can see that this would be an awesome place longer term.
they need a chair or bench outside the gate for smokers.
and the new a/c was a little loud.

the staff were wonderful and the rooms were clean and spacious.
it was a little noisy because you are close to a very busy road.

A beautiful, restful place to stay. The apartment was surrounded by lush, well manicured gardens that attracted hummingbirds, large lizards and butterflies. It was so lovely to sit on the large porch, in comfortable chair or hammock looking out to the garden. The two pools were also lovely. Thank you for an inviting, clean and comfortable place to stay in Samara.

Location and pool were great. Although we didn’t require it, the tiny apartment seemed well equipped for a longer stay.
It seemed that they wanted a $250. cash deposit which we balked at. We were only staying 1 night, and we hadn’t even seen the room, and I don’t think we appear to be carousers. In the end it was explained that we’d misunderstood. Their intention was to tell us it was being waived.

Villa Verdes offered us a quiet room. It’s located in the center of Samara.
The air conditioning was exceptionally loud.

Booking app apparently was buggy so we got a different room from the images we saw in the app, main problem, it did not had kitchen and my wife can't eat Gluten so we needed to cook since there are not Gluten free certified restaurants around.
I told this to the receptionist he did nothing there were no Villas with kitchen available. I asked for a knife and a glass and they were not happy.
After that I complained with Booking because I think it was the app that made an error and they sent my comments to the Hotel and magically there was a Villa with Kitchen available. I even told them we could keep our same room, just let us use the kitchen but they insisted that we move to the "private" Villa.
When we moved the things the receptionist started to tell us that basically we couldn't use any of the other rooms or bathrooms in the Villa just one of those which was basically the same as we had before (a/c controller and TV Satellite box were not working). Any ways they had a good intention but what gets me really uncomfortable from our stay is that at the next day magically the Villa was not private and other guests were using the kitchen. And other guests told us that the hotel asked us if we wanted to share the kitchen and we said yes (This is not true, suddenly other guests appeared). These other guest left the kitchen floor full of water because apparently they tried to make ice with a super market bag (a total mess)
Additionally, this now shared kitchen meant other guests had access to our room because it was in the Villa and the room had no private key.
Overall a really bad feeling over the stay but we managed to overcome this and enjoy our stay in Samara.

The kitchen was fully equipped, there was even a blender to make smoothies. The grounds were beautiful and private. It was like walking through a jungle to get to the pool. It is close to everything. Grocery store across the street, beach about a block away, walk through town to many restaurants.
Bad smell in unit. Smelt like they had used a heavy amount of bug spray (raid). It took several days to get rid of it.

The patio was phenomenal. We spent a lot of time hanging out, relaxing and eating out there. Pretty vegetation, and it stayed nice and cool even when it was hot and humid on the street. Although it was a little too far for us to comfortably walk to the beach with kiddos, it was a quick drive and we could find parking in town. Close to grocery store. Pool was nice.
Although most things worked, it felt run down, and the electrical system felt questionable. Also, we broke a glass (it happens), and when I went to ask for a broom so I could clean it, instead of asking if everyone was ok, they told me I needed to pay for the glass. I understand that need; it just wasn't presented in the right way and seemed like they were nickel and diming.

Nice facility. Helpfull Staf. Well equiped kitchen. We got extra towels upon request.
Noicy location next to a road. During our 5 night stay the room was never cleaned, we had to ask the staf to empty our garbage and for extra toiletpaper.

Great staff, beautiful grounds, large villa and veranda. Consistent wifi, would be comfortable for a long stay. The only issue I had was the restroom had a sewage odor.

The room was nice.
Beds were hard. shower pressure low, cold pools.

Friendly staff and owners, spacious villa, 5 min by foot to the beach, restaurants and town center; supermarket is across the street; good cleaning every two days, jacuzzi was nice as the water was warmer there than at the pool
We were bitten by mosquitoes at the end of April; probably mosquito net for beds will be nice to have

central to everything in the town…five minute walk to the beach…right across the street from a large grocery store…close to restaurants and coffee shops. The staff were very helpful. The property was very well maintained and very clean.
It was a bit expensive…but nothing in CR is cheap anymore. So, it was on the high end of competitive for similar places.

The staff was very helpful and accommodating, the rooms were clean, and the pool area was beautiful!
First room we stayed in was by the road and it was very loud all night from the ATV's going by and the second room the ac was very loud.

Luna was wonderful and very friendly, Estrella and Jocelyn did a great job with cleaning our mess. I love the property with the beautiful garden and the hammock right infront of your door is wonderful. I have stayed at that place a few times in the past and its still a gem.
8.0
separation between villas; kitchen amenities; 1 bedroom villa spacious with nice outdoor balcony
bathroom shower pressure was terrible and only a small stream of water was available; #4 is close to main thoroughfare and noisier

it had everything e needed for a reasonable price: a clean apartment for people, lovely pools, friendly and helpful staff.

-Excellent pool
-Well stocked kitchen (rice cooker, coffee pot, blender, cutting board, etc)
-Great location - 5 minutes from the beach and all the restaurants
-Large outdoor patio with each villas
-AC!
-friendly, helpful staff
-pretty, landscaped grounds
-Tons of bugs. Big red ants in every room. Tiny ants in the kitchen and bathroom. Mosquitoes everywhere, but only for 2 days out of our stay.
-the patio is big and there are hooks for hammocks but no hammock provided. Just an upright chair hammock that was uncomfortable and tons of hard wooden furniture. Missed opportunity to actually enjoy the patio.
-beds not comfortable and only one tiny pillow per person. A thin sheet provided. This part gave it the feel of a budget hotel.

We needed a few days to kick back after a busy travel week, and Villas Verdes was INCREDIBLE. Our villa had all of the space we needed, with an incredible outdoor space overlooking the pool (we could work and keep an eye on the kids). The location was perfect and we parked the car for a full 3 days since everything was walkable - the beautiful beach, supermarket across the road, and lots of restuarants and shops in either direction.
Villas Verdes exceeded our expectations!

Room was perfect for 2 friends. We stared in 2 bedroom 1 bath. It has a kitchen area and the eating and sitting areas are outside. Very nice. The a/c worked perfectly and if you leave the bedroom door open, it cools kitchen/ entry area. A/c in both bedrooms. Patio had tons of room with 2 rocking chairs and hammock and dining table. A couch would have been nice but it was sufficient for us.
A couch to lounge on would have been nice, but there are lots of beds to do that on.
10.0
The location is perfect, close to the beach and the village. The kitchen was very good, lot's of pans, utensils, plates in all sizes, microwave, oven, stove, fridge, watercooker, rice cooker, toaster.
The pool looked nice but we did not use it as the ocean was great. We had two villas and moved around furniture, plates etc but they did not mind at all, very friendly. Also two towels, one for the shower and one for the pool/beach.
Nothing, it was all excellent
