zwar schlicht, aber sehr zu empfehlen

Das Zimmer war ansprechend, die Matratze sehr gut, so dass ich bestens geschlafen habe. Im Inneren des Hauses war der Charme der 70er Jahre unübersehbar, alles sehr sauber, eigene Tee- und Kaffeezubreitung möglich. Den Inhaber habe ich nur telefonisch kontaktiert, was aber bestens geklappt hat. Freundlichkeit wird hier groß geschrieben. Vielen Dank dafür!

Das Haus könnte außen gepflegter sein... Leider war der Duschkopf in der Dusche sehr verkalkt, so dass das Wasser recht schlecht zu regulieren war. Aber das war auch das einig Negative, ansonsten ist die Übernachtungsmöglichkeit nur zu empfehlen.

Schlaflose Nacht, nicht für Klinikbesuche geeignet

Sehr laute Straße, die man laut durch die uralte Einfachverglasung der Fenster hört. sehr laute Zimmernachbarn. Die Türen und Wände sind sehr dünn und nicht schallisoliert. Das gesamte Haus ist sehr hellhörig. Zusatzkosten für Besuch, auch wenn er nicht über Nacht bleibt. Äußerst unverschämt, Geld zu verlangen, wenn man sich auf dem Zimmer noch unterhalten möchte.

Sleepless night.

The beds were very comfortable, so it was a pity the noise from outside stopped me from sleeping. They also had free tea and coffee facilities in the lounge area, which we didn't use. The shared bathroom facilities were very clean and spacious. The property is 5 mins walk to the centre of town.

We booked 2 rooms, but when we went to get keys from the lock boxes, one set of keys was missing. Luckily a cleaner was attending to the one room so she read able to call the owner as no staff were on site. My daughter was upgraded to a single room ensuite shower room. I used the shower but the drain was blocked so was left with my feet standing in dirty water. Though I asked for a quiet room, my wife and I ended up with a room facing the main road. Shutting the old windows on a very hot night made no difference to the noise levels from the road throughout the whole night. If I'd had a good night's sleep, I would have said the property was good value, but I didn't and was left really tired with a 500 km drive the next day.

After booking the room, they called me and told me that my room is not available. Then they called me back and said that the room is available.....after that, they cancelled and offered the room for two more times! There is no reception, they called from some outsourced calling studio. The room was not even close to those on the photos!

Was a sufficiently nice and economic stay.

The room is very suitable for an affordable short stay. It was clean and tidy, worthy of its price. The bed was comfortable, the wifi was fast, and the heating worked fine. Everything was overall decent.

It was funny that when I arrived at the hotel in the evening (I told the staff beforehand that I would be arriving from 22:00 to 23:00, and they said it was fine), the door was closed. I tried to reach the staff by phone and WhatsApp (as they wrote at the front of the door that they are 24h reachable), nobody was there for something like half an hour. So, after eight hours of travelling, I was hopelessly standing in the cold like an idiot. Besides, when I was waiting there, another guest somehow noticed me from upstairs, opened his window, said, "you are too late! ... and I'm also a guest, I can't check you in!" and then shut the window with an unaccountable arrogance. Luckily, the staff then called me back via WhatsApp, and they were warm-friendly and guided me to check-in directly. Thank God I did not need to find an alternative place to stay overnight.

Everything was fine.

The room was clean and so was the bathroom. The staff was nice and the check-out simple. There was a parking spot provided and also towels.

There was a bit of miscommunication about early check-in, but as the staff was friendly there was no big issue. As our room faced the street, there was some traffic noise but nothing major.

Disappointing

It is really difficult to say what I liked... there was nothing I have enjoyed, sorry to say that. Ok, it was clean.

It was hard to communicate in English with the stuff, got different room where you could hear everything what is going on around, the door did not fit, the bed and floor were wrinkled and after all the price 66 per doublebedroom with shared toilet and no breakfast is just too much.

Great location for exploring the area - castles, hiking. Bed was comfortable; shower water pressure was good.

No breakfast, and no staff onsite - reason given was COVID restrictions. That was in the notes of my reservation, but not clear on the booking site. Never seeing hotel staff was disconcerting. Room was mostly clean; however, the wardrobe wasn't checked. There was a dirty towel and empty condom box inside.

The location was for us very good because close to a meeting next day. We arrived late and left early. Both was no problem at all with a key safe and then dropping off the key as we left. Very efficient.
