From the initial contact to leaving we found our hosts extremely friendly, kind & helpful. The accommodation was spotless, breakfast ample & close to the old city. Lovely courtyard to relax in. Secure Parking was provided at our request.

Great place to stay within walking distance to the town.

Such a beautiful house and gardens in a great location in Le Mans close to all amenities with plenty of bars and restaurants and the beautiful medieval old town. All within walking distance. The house is very comfortable with great beds. Bernaud and his wife were great hosts and gave us restaurant recommendations and advice for our one night stop over trip. Such a lovely couple. Very warm and hospitable. Breakfast was great too and nothing was too much trouble.

There wasn't anything we didn't like. What might be nice is to have tea and coffee facilities in the room for a late night/early morning cuppa. I'm sure Bernaud and his wife would accommodate this but it would be nice not to have to disturb them.

Beautiful old house near the old town of Le Mans. Lovely bedroom and breakfast.

Nothing. Only difficulty would be climbing the second level as stairs were quite steep if someone had difficulty walking.

Very friendly welcome, able to understand english when my french is very little. Bernard and wife offered french hospitality at its best. Even homemade cakes and jams! Continental breakfast but fab. Peaceful location, prefect walk into Cathedral area and a car garage... Please make sure you offer and pay the local taxes ... keep it independent!

Our room was perfect with air con too, only downside - take a small overnight bag, if your room is on 2nd floor narrow stairs. Unlikely you will manage large suitcase - but talk to Bernard if booking in advance :-)

Highly recommend as the perfect venue for short or long stay.

This gorgeous property is within a short walk of the centre and all the amenities that this offers. The property is full of classic French charm and the hosts were exceptionally helpful and friendly.

I can not fault anything as out every wish was catered for.

Magnificent House in a Legendary Town. Would definitely come back!

Magnificent mansion in an unexpected place. A true oasis of peace almost in the middle of the city of Le Mans. Exceptionally friendly owner who made a very nice breakfast for us with amongst others a delicious grape jam from their own garden/grapevine.

Absolutely nothing. It was an exceptional experience!

Nice city centre location with rare parking and garden

Nicely located close to city centre, restaurants etc. parking nearby. Beautiful garden to sit in. Spacious room with nice bathroom. Lovely breakfast presented by very friendly hosts

We were located on second floor, with tight staircase, which we weren't expecting. The owners were very friendly, though I didn't know where to find them to ask for another pillow. Had some difficulty turning shower temperature down

A beautiful house in a quiet location within walking distance of the old town of Le Mans.

The room we had was perfect with plenty of space and a great bathroom. The house has been so nicely decorated that it was a pleasure to stay. A lovely breakfast is also provided with homemade jams and cakes. It was a pleasure to meet the couple who own the house.

Lovely accommodation close to its and restaurants

Our second stay here, and all was as expected. Spacious room, lovely comfy kind size bed, nice shower and towels. Water in room with glasses, decent wifi Breakfast was homemade cakes and jams. Nice coffee and croissants too. Handy for walking into town for dinner, easy and safe parking in their garage. Thoroughly recommend

charming, characterful place to stay 5 minutes walk from the old town of Le Mans

beautiful house, charming hosts and the nicest bedding and most comfortable beds. the rooms overlook a fairly busy road and have French doors and a Juliet balcony- but the double glazing and sound proofing are amazing. Great powerful shower. Really good continental breakfast. 5 minutes walk into the old town and to fabulous restaurants recommended by Bernard.

A gem of a place to stay

This a gem of a maisn hotel in central Le Mans, it is well located for both tourists and shopping. Our hosts, M & Mme Duhem, we excellent; being both very helpful and pleasant. Their house is delightful with an unusual garden. Having the option of safe off the road parking was a real bonus. Breakfast was excellent with some home made options, and you have the opportunity for conversations with other guest whilst visiting.
