Schöne Altstadt

Die FEWO war gut ausgestattet. Freundlicher Empfang. Mein Auto 🚗 konnte an die Wallbox Typ Stecker 2 angeschlossen werden. Super. Frühstücksbrötchen wurden auf Wunsch vor die Tür gelegt. Kleine Auswahl an Wurst und Käse lag im Kühlschrank.

Die Entfernung zur Altstadt beträgt ca 1000 m. Man braucht schon ein Tagesticket wenn man das Auto stehen lassen möchte.

Entspanntes und erholsames Wochenende über Pfingsten

Sehr freundlicher Empfang, sehr hilfsbereiter und freundlicher Besitzer der sehr bemüht ist das sich die Gäste wohl fühlen. Der Kühlschrank war super gefüllt als wir ankamen und die Brötchen standen morgens vor der Tür. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und werden das nächste Mal länger bleiben. Vielen Dank für den schönen Aufenthalt.

Fabulous!

The location is perfect, with a view into a calm valley and a small pool in the yard. The host was exceptionally kind and we are looking forward to be back one day.

1. Hosts. They were always available, communicative and very nice people. 2. Breakfasts. Fresh bread/rolls and selection of cold cuts and cheese 3. Size of apartment and kitchen adequately equipped. 4. Location. Walking distance to the historic part of town.

Meissen is great place to visit and "NO OAKS" a great base to explore the town and beyond.

Breakfast; The fridge was well stocked with eggs, cheese, ham, fruit, juice etc. Fresh bread/rolls were delivered every morning. The apartement was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped including coffee machine, filters and coffee powder. The apartment was very spacious with a balcony overlooking the garden. The location was great with a ten minute walk to the market square, and a twenty minute walk to the train station. Meissen has a beautiful old town centre and is a great place to explore, and a good place to base oneself for trips to Dresden (30min by train) and the surrounding countryside. Unfortunately we only had a week, ten days would have been better. We will be back.

Great place that'll make you feel like home 🏡

The place is amazing 😍 it's spacious, comfortable and spotless. Mr. Ulrich is extremely kind and pleasant person. The guesthouse is his family home and it's easy to feel how much he cherishes everything about it. It's relatively close to the center in a quiet place. The beds are comfortable and we slept like babies. Fresh bread and everything you need for a great breakfast were really good addition to the amicable service.

The Hosts nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast provided was exceptional especially the fresh rolls each morning. Honesty Bar lots to choose from.. Beautiful garden to relax in by the pool.

Great place to stay. Location near historic buildings you can visit. Extremely caring and attentive hosts. Breakfast was very tasty and varied. I will definitely recommend it to others and we will get back there again and I think more than once ;) Thank you!

Superb

The owners were very nice and helpful. Freshly baked bread for breakfast, yum! And thank you for the proper kitchen! Meissen Altstadt seems to only have German and Italian restaurants which get old fast. The fridge has everything you need for breakfast (unless you are vegan), yogurt, eggs, milk, cheese, cold cuts, butter, jam, juice, even some beer. A proper coffee maker with a decent coffee (it was even ok by my coffee-snob standards). The place was cleaner than clean, it felt like we were the first occupants ever. Location: NoOaks is located on a scenic route, which means that during the day you might hear occasional motorbikes and cars passing by, but during the night it is very quiet. The place is located a bit further away from most of the touristic attractions compared to other hotels in the area (about a 10-15 min walk), but the walk is very pleasant: under trees with a nice view. A huge bonus for us was the swimming pool, as we traveled during a hot summer weekend. Bonus round: we accidentally burned a hole in the bedspread, when we were ironing, and the owners were very sweet about it and did not charge us for it. Thank you!

Just a note for the owners, it took us 5 minutes to figure out how to open the door. FYI: After you touch the knob with touch key and the green light starts to flesh turn the knob clockwise. When it feels like it does not turn anymore turn it further with force and it will give.
