The friendliness and warmth of the host at this working farm, the setting in the low polders behind the sand dunes and the fabulous breakfast spread are just some of the elements that make Polderhoeve truly special.
The rooms are very simple while covering the basics. This isn't a minus when you consider the great price.

Great place to stay with a family. Breakfast was wonderful. Had our own table in the large dining area that we could use day and night. Garden had toys for kids and a trampoline. Lots of farm animals to look at. Felt like you were in the country, but just a quick drive to the beach!

Upon arrival we were welcomed by Anja the host and owner of the B&B. Anja is a very friendly lady who was extremely helpful in showing us around and giving us tips on the area. She even whipped up two bicycles for us to use during our stay. Our room was spacious, clean and quiet. Breakfast offered all the choices one could wish for. Coffee, tea and water was available ad lib throughout the day and a stocked mini fridge in the room took care of other needs. The garden of the property is a peaceful retreat and offers plenty of privacy for reading and/or enjoying the beautiful surroundings and views of the "polders". A couple of grandparents who stayed there while we were visiting were accompanied by their grandkids. The kids seemed to have the time of their lives playing and helping out in and around the barn with the cows and other farm animals. The beach is less than a mile away and can be reached over bike and walking trails through the woods. We loved all of it! Thanks so much Anja and Koen!
