Excellent accommodation

Loved this accommodation. The owner and staff are both super nice and thoughtful. The accommodation itself is very well designed and very clean and comfortable. Perfect location for a sunrise hike up Adams peak. Loved the hammock to relax with a book and enjoy the views.

Great 3 night stay at The One Ella

We stayed three nights at The One Ella and it was a very pleasant experience. Dom, the owner, is a really nice guy and he really puts his pride in making the place look nice and giving his guests a wonderful and comfortable stay. He is very attentive and will make sure that everything is according to your wishes. He and his friendly staff made sure that breakfast every morning was according to our preferences and would be a great start to our day. And it really was. Sitting in the morning and evenings on the terrace and relaxing in the hammock was just as nice as we expected. The rooms were nice, clean and comfortable and it’s hard to see how booking one of Dom’s rooms could be a failure. The location is also great, close to the Ravana Zip Line and Little Adams Peak. A perfect place to start some nice walks and have some exiting experiences.. Dom’s brother runs the place next door called Chill Out Cafe and serves some really good food - we ended up having dinner there two of our three days in Ella.

There is nothing negative to say about this place - it was wonderful 🙏

Great place to relax at Ella

Beautiful hotel perfectly located, next to Nine arches bridge and Little Adam Peak. The cabana is very cozy, we loved the balcony and all the wooden details made by the owner. The wc is big, clean and with lots of amenities such as conditioner and hair drier. Would 100% recommend this place to anyone willing to have some relaxing days at Ella.

Wi-fi was not working but we took that as a chance to disconnect out phones and enjoy nature:)

Amazing spot to discover Ella & surroundings, and relax

Super scenic setting that simply invites to relax. About a 20min walk / 5min tuktuk ride from the centre of Ella, the two bungalows are located right at the beginning of the trail to Little Adam's Peak and overlook a gorgeous scenery of lush mountains. The hammock is amazing, breakfast is served on the terrace, and the room even came with a yoga mat! The bed was comfy and big. The room was super clean and I really liked the style!

Absolutely nothing to complain about. Would have loved to stay for more than just one night to just relax in this beautiful spot.

Superb accommodation, breath-taking views; wonderful host and great food.

The One Ella is superb; the host (Dom) is extremely helpful and friendly and goes out of his way to make your stay memorable. The room is beautiful, with many special touches and the view from the terrace magnificent. The breakfast is generous and imaginative and there is the added bonus of a great cafe next door that will provide dinner to your room.

No complaints whatsoever.

Amazing Ella Stay!

Great location.. just a short walk to everywhere you would want to go in Ella. super friendly staff and great breakfast was provided! The views were just incredible!! everything in the room was restocked and they had all the necessities available!

they only accept cash and we were not made aware so make sure to take cash for hotel payment. but was promptly sorted as the owner followed us to an ATM so we could pay.

- exceptionally clean - the private little tarrance with a hammock and views on Ella Rock, where you get breakfast served - we travelled with a baby, so the tarrace was perfect to crawl around - very friendly and helpful owner and staff - comfortable room with mindful little details

Well designed room with great view and very helpful hosts

The room was well designed, new and clean with a great view and comfortable beds. The hosts were very friendly and breakfast was delicious. The property is located at the start of the little adams peak walk and not far from the nine arch bridge trail. We accidentally left my daughters favourite blanket behind and the owner, Dom, arranged for it to be delivered to us at our next destination via a passing driver. A really relaxing and wonderful experience

Perfect Romantic Stay in Ella

One Ella is the perfect place for a solo getaway or a romantic trip with your significant other. The rooms are immaculate, the views are spectacular, and the owner (Dom) made sure we had everything we needed. I just wished we had stayed longer!

Dom was very accommodating and gave exceptional service. Stay was stunning, beautiful view from a relaxing hammock, luxury air conditioned room and allowed great recovery from the exciting Ella experience.

Amazing place

Second time in Sri Lanka and second time in One Ella, we couldn’t miss this place as we really liked it the first time. The view is still as amazing as the first time and the room is very well equipped. The host pays a lot of attention to details and is very helpful. Breakfast on the terrasse is just incredible, probably the best we had in Sri Lanka. Can only recommence this place 🙂

This is the place to stay if visiting Ella. Dom is a fantastic host that provides daily breakfast and can help with any questions or needs you may have during your stay. We really liked the location as it is very close to the Little Adams Peak hike and Nine Arches Bridge trail. It's an easy walk to town or a very inexpensive tuk tuk ride. The views from the terrace are incredible!

The room was comfortable and clean. The property is very close to Little Adam's peak trail, Flying Rawana zipline and the 9 arches bridge. Also, Dom was an excellent host who made our stay pleasant.

Lovely room, amazing view and perfect location in Ella

Ideal location (away from town centre but still only a short tuk tuk to bars) right on the path to little adam’s peak and 20min walk to Nine arches bridge). The room was well designed and had an amazing view. Really friendly owner, Dom, who made us a great breakfast and organised a car to Kandy for a really good price. Even had cold Lion beers in the fridge on arrival!!

An absolute gem!

Dom’s place is an absolute gem and a perfect base to explore Ella and all it has to offer. Located at the start of the Little Adam’s Peak hike, near The Nine Arches Bridge and opposite Honey Bee Garden Cooking Classes it is truly on the doorstep to the main highlights whilst only being a 10mins walk or short Tuk Tuk ride into the main town centre! The hut itself is very private (set back from the path) and superbly equipped with everything you need for a short stay and plenty of attention to detail. The terrace was great for chilling (hammock) and having lovely breakfasts. Dom himself is super friendly and went out of his way to look after us. He even played some of his own Sri Lankan music (guitar & violin) on our last night which was fantastic, and a great way to end our stay. We would highly recommend!

Wonderful place

In this place you can find everything you need! Outstanding terrace with magnificent views, where it was so cosy to spend evenings. The owner is a wizard, he can help you to solve any question. The hotel is located very conveniently to the bridge and little Adam's peak. Very delicious breakfasts.

Peaceful and a lovely place to enjoy Ella.

The view of the mountains is spectacular- The room with the large balcony is so comfy and gorgeous. Dom the owner is amazing and so helpful and friendly. The breakfast is wonderful and Dom makes it a very special feast. After 3 hectic weeks in Sri Lanka I finally found peace and sleep at the One.

Outstanding host and a really nice apartment with a great view.

The apartment is built in a very modern and good style with a lot of craftsmanship. The bathroom is really nice and cold beer is waiting in the fridge. Everything is built in good quality und working well. Also, the room and everything else is very clean. The terrace offers an excellent view on Ella’s rock and into the green mountains, a tea field is right below. On that terrace you get an outstanding breakfast served every morning at the time of your choice. The host is extremely kind and is doing his outmost to make your stay as good as possible. Ella center, Little Adams peek and 9 arches bridge are in short walking distance. We highly enjoyed our stay and felt comfortable from the first minute. Highly recommended for everyone who is visiting Ella.

Beautiful place

The place was very cozy and situated in a perfect location: you are at the entrance of Little Adam's peak path, and few steps away from the Nine Arch Bridge path. The host was very friendly and attentive to our needs. The room was nicely furnished, with small cool details, like nice lightning design or yoga mats in the room (nice touch). Hammock at the terrace. Easy parking available. Great little restaurant - Cafe Eden - just few steps away.

Beautiful views

Two chalets make up this ‘hotel’ which makes it a lovely personal place to stay. Amazing view from a really comfortable balcony. Delicious breakfast. Dom was a great host. Beautiful clean room. Close to food options, and on the walking route to Little Adams peak. Ella town isn’t particularly nice so it was great to be a little out of it, but close enough be easily accessed. Highly recommend!

The One Ella was perfect. Everything was perfect, the accommodation, the friendly staff who gave us great advice on going things like trekking to Ella Rock, the breakfasts, being a short walk into town, the views over the valley and of Ella Rock the list goes on and on ... perfection, thanks Dom and team!

Amazing place for all kinds of people

The bungalow style room was great. Very roomy, clean and comfortable. The view is amazing and it's located right on the beginning of the path that leads to the little Adam's peak. The staff was also great, friendly, helpful and communicative. Breakfast was very good and it's served right on the porch of your room. One of the paths that lead to the nine arches bridge is also very near and there are a couple of good restaurants quite close on the main road aswell.

The price might be a bit too high considering the style of the hotel.
