This was a perfect place to rest our tired traveller heads. Marcello was very welcoming and answered all our questions easily. Marcello’s English was very good. The room was very comfortable & good coffee machine with pods.
The breakfast room was stunning, good food, more good coffee and lovely Italian music making breakfast a special occasion.
Just 22minutes to Cagliari airport to drop our hire car.

Marcello was a lovely host and made the best fresh breakfast (and Pancakes). The room was fabulous and very charming.
The Estate was the perfect retreat to relax and get away from all the crowded touristy places. And don‘t miss out and ask for recommendations around the Area.

Host was accommodating and communicated quickly. Also gave us some good tips on where to go. Secluded and quiet location for exploring the area. Breakfast was excellent and filling. We were able to buy a bottle of wine right there so didn’t have to go back into town after a long day exploring. Rooms were clean and had everything we needed. Very comfortable stay!
The only reason I couldn’t give it a solid 10 was the wifi was too weak and our cellular service was also weak so had difficulty planning our onward travel.

We were contacted and met by Marcello and his colleagues. We’ve arrived relatively late (around 21:00) they were more than available to meet us.
The room is clean, spacious enough for two, has all the facilities including big bottle of water, tea, kettle. Attention to the design, details and authentic atmosphere.
In the morning we’ve got the best breakfast on Sardinia if not in the world. Different local products served on each table for every room including homemade cakes, pancakes, yogurt (sooo good), jam, fruits, bread and drinks.
The atmosphere, attention to the details and hosts made this stay one of the best on Sardinia.
The main issue was only the lack of the hooks in the bathroom - for towels and clothes. As well as semi-transparent curtains in the bathroom felt a bit uncomfortable, especially in the evening.

It was very stylish, the breakfast was excelent with homemade products, Marcello was very friendly and helped us with planning our traveling through Sardinia.
The place is a little lonely because there is nothing around the place but the villages around are nice.

The beds were very comfortable and the air conditioning worked great and was very much appreciated. The place is very quiet and peaceful. We liked having the kitchenette, we only had to eat out 1x a day since breakfast was included. The space is not set up for heavy gourmet cooking but was fine for making salads, sandwiches, and other basic things. We stayed a full week and thought it was a good value and a nice base for exploring Southern Sardegna.
Loved the character of the old buildings and the outdoor spaces were very nicely lit and designed. Our kids loved the ping pong table.
Marcello was a very friendly and kind host. He remembered each day how much coffee we liked, and that my daughter preferred tea. We had a few issues early on and he worked to remedy the situation quickly, even when he was out of town.
The town of Capoterra didn’t have much to offer, there is a playground and a really great pizza place called Su Stampu. The kids enjoyed watching them make pizzas. It was very hot so we didn’t explore the WWF Oasis or mountain trails, but would probably be a good option at a different time of year.
Property is only about 20-25 min from Cagliari. Poetto beach was nice and had lots of restaurant choices between the beach and the town. However we preferred the beaches at Chia or on the Costa Rei which are both about 1-1.5 hours from the property.
We had a bit of trouble with the door lock the first 2 days and got locked out late at night. Be sure to only turn it once to lock! We are used to German locks that turn 3-4 times but we became more mindful after the second time and it wasn’t an issue afterwards.
Sometimes the hot water cut in and out on the shower.

We chose this stay for our first day in Sardinia and it was amazing and beyond expectations. The house was very old (300 years) but interior was recently renovated. Marcello was very helpful and kind, he prepared us delicious breakfast with home made and fresh food. I really recommend for anyone looking a genuine stay around Calighari.

Settled in a quiet and beautiful area, a fondly maintained historical house and it’s surrounding, the best breakfast in Sardegna with even home made yoghurt and marmalade, the best and well-informed host. highly recommend.
we can’t complain on anything.

Great accommodation for a couple. Marcello, the host, is a very kind person and made us feel at home. Breakfast was very good each day and we enjoyed the countryside vibe in a beautiful big house. Our apartment was fully equipped and we did not miss anything at all. Totally recommended, hoping we can go back one day.

The owner Marcelo is very helpful and friendly person who helps in every thing you ask.He wants to make staying in his B&B very comfortable and cosy. The place is very quiet and peaceful. Rooms are old fashioned and spacious. Mattresses are comfortable and bedding soft.Breakfast is good and varied. Good coffee and home made products like marmalade is served by Marcelo. Location close to WWF forest.During our visit was fire close to the building and part of Marcelo garden burned ☹️... but his optimism was stronger 😀
