Nice clean hotel next to the beach

I loved Rubin resort because of the location, clean and nice staff. Traveling around the Philippines it was one of the cleanest hotels I've been to. Nice staff and Happy to help. The AC was working well and toilets were clean

Absolutely enjoyed our stay. Mylene & Maryanne were excellent and helped a lot with organising tours

Amazing time

We were very impressed by Port Barton. It was even nicer than expected. Sunsets and the beach were amazing. The people are very nice and the whole place had this relaxed and homie vibe. We loved the location, pool... the staff and owners were all very nice and helpful, made us feel like at home. We even extended our stay. The room and thr bathroom was more comfortable that elsewhere in Philippines. Also there was a lot of well organised furniture for very comfortable stay. Thank you for organising the last day transportation and tour for us - we managed to visit underwater river in Sabang and go to Puerto Princesa in one day.

Internet works on the porch and not in the room. Maybe the chairs on the porch could a bit more comfortable. The roads in Port Barton aren't very good, and there are many stray dogs.

Stay at Rubin Resort.. great! But..

our basic needs were met, there is good privacy. I like that they have a swimming pool - it gave us something else to do.after going out in the sea. The staff are helpful the best way they can. There is always a ready smile.

Smoke coming from burnt leaves, grass, wood., trash. You can see and smell the smoke coming from the neighbors while swimming in the pool and when u get out of the room.. In every street around the neighborhood there is always 1 or 2 household burning trash (" nagsisiga"). It might have helped lessen the insects, i did not see any mosquito or fly..but its harmful for asthmatics like me. Even if im taking my inhalers.. its still hard to breathe.

I would rather stay some other hotels that are cheaper with good amenities.

the pool was clean and was maintained well.

Their bathrooms are poorly maintained, water from the shower doesn't go down the drain; hence the whole floor inside T & B was flooded.

I love the quietness of the place and the garden is very nice. They have good staff and the owner is amiable.

Wish they can provide a regular size blanket, the one they provide is narrow. The bathroom could have been designed better. There was a problem with the toilet flush during our first night but they resolved it the following day while we were out.

More than I hoped for

Amazing hotel, the owners were lovely. The villas were spacious, the air con was cold and the water hot! We were looked after very well. The pool was lovely after a hot day. Its about 30 seconds to the beach and close to bars and restaurants. We didn't stay very long so didn't get a chance to try the food.

Disappointing

loved the pool

The staff will nickle and dime you - it’s all cash only!!!! No credit cards for the room or anything. No air conditioning. And not as near the beach as we hoped. The room was pretty much ready but they said wait two hours to check in. Not the Philippine friendly we hoped for.
