Borgo del Sole is down an untarred road and in a peaceful forest. it feels out of the way but when you get there you find all the modern conveniences like reliable WiFi and high quality linen. We really enjoyed our stay.

This place is fantastic! It has everything you can dream of if you value old traditional Tuscany stone house, wonderful pool with fantastic mountain view and total tranquility.
We spend 10 wonderful days there by the pool, in the ceramics workshop and the creative corner (thanks for all the help and inspiration Alessia!) and enjoyed the shaded terrace of our apartment. The river is a short walk away and offers both shallow water and a place where swimming and jumping from the cliff is possible and it was a great nature experience.
Bar/pizzaria Matteo on the main road (15 min walk) make very good pizza and offers the perfect mountain view from the terrace.
The family that runs Borgo del Sole are very nice and helpful.
You need to be prepared for very simple living when it comes to kitchen facilities: few glasses, only one cooking pot etc.

Amazing location, such beauty!! Our ”apartment” was fantastic, old stone building, yet very convenient inside.
Some noise at times from farming neighbors (tractors etc)

Beautiful decor. Good food nearby.
