Habitación espaciosa con hermosa vista, alojamiento increíble con excelente desayuno

La habitación era muy cómoda y espaciosa. La vista era increíble. Tan solo a 5min en auto del centro de la ciudad la hace la ubicación perfecta donde quedarse un poco retirado. Susana es muy agradable y atenta, hizo de nuestra estadía algo encantador. El desayuno es muy bueno e ideal para poder estar todo el día paseando después.

An incredible home away from home in El Calafate!

Hands down the best value property we’ve ever stayed at. Susana was welcoming and hospitable and treated us like family, even surprising us with a birthday cake one morning for my husband. We would go out of our way to come back here to stay again!

There’s nothing we didn’t like, just be aware some of the beds share walls so you could potentially hear your neighbors talking

Unterkunft mit Panoramablick und sehr gutem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis in El Calafate.

Sehr schöne, geräumige Zimmer mit Panoramablick über die Bucht von El Calafate. Ganz in der Nähe liessen sich sogar Flamingos beobachten. Super ruhige Lage und guter Ausgangspunkt für einen Ausflug zum Perito Moreno Gletscher mit dem Auto. Die Wirtin ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam und kümmert sich toll um die Gäste. Das Frühstück ist gut und reichhaltig.

Ohne Mietwagen schwierig zu erreichen.

Gute Unterkunft mit netter Gastgeberin - gerne wieder !

Schöne Zimmer mit gutem Bad. Die Lage mit Blick aufs Wasser ist sehr schön. Sehr freundliche Gastgeberin, die auch bereit war für uns die Frühstückszeit vorzuverlegen, damit wir unseren Ausflug zu den Gletschern per Boot realisieren konnten. Gutes und reichhaltiges Frühstück. Netter Gemeinschafts-/Aufenthaltsbereich.

Das Gebäude ist recht hellhörig.

Susana war eine sehr sehr nette und bemühte Gastgebern! Zimmer war sauber, großzügig und gemütlich eingerichtet. Auch das Abendessen und Frühstück war exzellent und köstlich!

Splendida accoglienza. Ottima soluzione per esplorare la zona di El Calafate

Posizione panoramica sulla baia con vista sulla città. E' fuori dal centro (non ci si arriva a piedi) ma proprio per questo in posizione molto tranquilla. La signora che gestisce l'hotel è di una gentilezza infinita e molto disponibile. Camera grande, struttura accogliente, ottima cena e colazione.

Perfect

Susana was the perfect host. We couldn’t have felt more welcome in her Hostería. She cooked for us two nights in a row and it felt like we had a private chef. Breakfast was extensive and delicious with fresh fruits and croissants. We very much enjoyed the view from our room: beautiful sunset over El Calafate with you wild horses running to the lake. We would recommend this Hostería to anyone.

Relax en Calafate con unas vistas preciosas y una anfitriona encantadora

Estuvimos muy a gusto en este alojamiento. Es una opción excelente si tienes vehículo propio. Está en un sitio tranquilo con unas vistas preciosas. La dueña es un encanto. Repetiríamos sin dudarlo

Nos gustó todo, aunque hay que tener en cuenta de que disponíamos de auto y que no queda en pleno centro de Calafate (para nosotros esto fue una ventaja, ya que preferíamos un sitio tranquilo)

Charming and warm

Everyone is right about Susana - she’s an angel! Good value for money. Fine breakfast. Great convenience for Perito Moreno of course.

A Susana é uma simpatia. A acomodação é espaçosa, limpa e a calefação funciona muito bem. O café da manhã é bem caseiro e é uma delícia. Fica uns 10 min de carro do centro da cidade, mas a vista é a tranquilidade do local compensa tudo isso. Pretendemos voltar !

Tranquilidade e carinho!

Pousada super bem cuidada, se vê que todos os detalhes são pensados com muito carinho. Café da manhã com medialunas deliciosas e um bom papo com a anfitriã Susana! Vista linda do lago argentino e da cidade.

Só vale se atentar à distância da cidade, 1h30 a pé. Mas de táxi são 15 minutos. Susana pode te indicar!

If you are by car, this is the place to stay!

The host, Susana, is an absolute gem - made us feel welcome and at home despite our late arrival. Stunning lake views, from the spacious room as well as the large window front dining room, where we had a very complete and lovingly arranged breakfast waiting for us. A wonderful place to stay at a 5 minute drive from the center of town.

Truly, it was all perfect.

wonderful boutique hotel experience with beautiful views

The rooms are spacious with great features - the building has high ceilings and has a wonderful feel. The views over the lake are sensational! The host was exceptional - informative and helpful on all the different glacier tours available and where to purchase them, local restaurants etc. Her breakfast was really delicious and enormous so we ended up packing some for lunch too!

Great, quiet place to stay with an outstanding host. Great breakfast. Will need a rental car though.

Susan, the owner, was OUTSTANDING. Simply delightful and she made the BEST BREAKFAST if you really appreciate homemade cooking.

It might be hard to get around if you don't have a rental car.

Tranquil, serene, remote bed and breakfast with a warm and welcoming hostess.

Serene and tranquil location with a very warm and welcoming host. B&B style, wonderful offerings personalized to your timing and desire for breakfast. Recently renovated room and bathroom, very nice facilities. View of the bay from the room is gorgeous, especially at sunrise and sunset. The shower was amazing!

Slightly uncomfortable mattress/pillows, but tolerable. Unfinished surfaces on floors and furniture make things slightly rough/uncomfortable/sticky. Distant location requires planning ahead of time for transportation to/from town center and activities.

Lovely - would recommend to everyone.

Clean, large, and comfortable room. Susanna was lovely and helpful. Farther from town, but the views and peace were worth it. Wanted to walk down to explore the lake, but just didn't have time. Would definitely return.

Our best stay in Patagonia

Suzanna is a very kind and helpful person, the facilities are AMAZING (wooden details, great design, outstanding views of the lake), everything is super clean and everything is new or pretty well maintained. It was probably our best stay in a 2-week trip :)

Strongly recommend to everyone especially those ones who is seeking for inner peace

It is a very cosy place facing late Argentina. The place is tidy and quite. Susan is the best host I have ever met. She is kind, generous and warm. I dont speak Spanish but we talked a lot using translator. I feel so relaxed with her in her cosy place. If you have more time highly suggest you spend more days here to clear up the mind. Very enjoyable and peaceful stay.

To be honest there is nothing that I dislike about it. Worth to mention it is 10mins drive to downtown which cost 1500 peso equivalent to 4 dollar. It is absolutely not a problem for me especially I enjoyed peaceful environment here. Scenery outside of the window is amazing.

Great hostal on the way to Perito Moreno

Great location on the way to the glacier Pertito Moreno, across from Glaciarium (Patagonian Ice Museum). Quiet place outside of the main tourist drag. Very cosy and comfortable property and room. And, most of all, great host Susana who took fantastic care of us and helped us with all questions that we had.

We had a great stay with Susana. The place was comfortable, clean and well-equipped. The breakfast was complete and we manage to have great rest.

The only thing we may mention here is that we missed some light on our bedside tables.

Extraordinary stay, clean and large room, good breakfast. Exceptional owner Susana. It felt like my aunt taking care of us (really taking responsibility of our stay), very gently and politely. We asked her to assist verifying that we will be picked up to the excursions the following mornings. She called and verified and on the second morning, when they did not come to pick us up she decided to call them, and because of this we did not miss our glacier tour. We needed a rope for the luggage compartment, we asked where can we buy a rope, and in response she brought a piece of rope, just like what we needed. The breakfast was very very good. Good variety. There was enough food on the table so we could not get to eat the croissants, so the owner decided to pack it for us for the day trip.

Amazing

The room has huge windows letting in a lot of light and overlooking the wetlands and the lake as well as el Calafate in the distance on the other side. Very bright and airy. The room is warm (the heating also worked well), well equipped, bed comfortable and above all everything is clean. The bathroom is clean and spacious, good water pressure and a good hairdryer. The breakfast is ample and delicious. The host, Susana, was friendly and accommodating to our travel schedule. We have been traveling for a while and it was very convenient that she could do our laundry - we dropped it off in the morning before heading out and by evening everything was clean and neatly folded, for a very fair price. We could park our car right in front of the house. Definitely worth being a bit outside of the city in order to stay here.
