I believe this is the first property for which im giving a full 10. Everything exceeded expectations, from the comfort of the rooms, to the attentiveness of the staff (special shout out to Valentina and Prashanth) who made us feel so special with just the right amount of privacy. Absolutely loved our stay and will definitely come back :)
the duration of our stay, both my partner and i hope we had more days!

This hotel was amazing. Beautiful, charming, luxurious, relaxing and the people were amazing. Drinks and meals (we had breakfast and dinner) were delicious.
Old Goa was not as nice or vibrant as we had hoped. Still happy to have seen it but the hotel is what made the whole experience.

Great location, great service & even better no TV

I was looking for a place to use as a base to explore Panaji and Old Goa for 2 days before my return home to the US and the Postcard was an excellent choice. Pradeep the manager of the hotel was always available on Whatsapp and extremely responsive. the location is gorgeous as well, on a verdant hilltop above Goa with a lovely pool.

An amazing experience from Pradeep and his team, we arrived at a terrible time of 5am and he was personally there waiting to take us to our room. We had what we wanted when we wanted it, a truly personalised experience with an instant response by WhatsApp to any request. The food was amazing, the best butter chicken (not on the menu BTW) I've ever eaten and as this place only have 6 rooms it is never busy, you feel you are on holiday in your own home. The place is exceptionally well maintained and the grounds beautiful.
Small thing, it could do with an honesty bar, so you can chose a glass of wine or beer without calling the team. But that's a small thing.

Such an amazing experience and love the concept of check in/check out at any time plus breakfast when you fancy.
From the minute you arrive, you are made so welcome by the manager, Pradeep and team. Impeccable service and anything you need or would like organised is a just WhatsApp away.
Luxury spacious rooms of which there are just six over two houses. Serene setting with beautiful gardens with pool. It has such a calm and relaxing atmosphere, the perfect place to unwind
Delicious Goan food and attentive service within gazebos and it is truly magical in the evening in such a quiet setting.
Thank you Pradeep for a such a wonderful relaxing stay.

The hotel is an ideal spot to get away and get much-needed rest and relaxation. The property is beautiful, the manager and staff very helpful and the overall experience simply wonderful. It is great that there are only 6 rooms on the property so even if the hotel is full, there is a lot of privacy and a feeling of calm. The staff was amazing ... helpful, attentive, and always there when we needed them but never intrusive. The room was a good size with great views and the spa service was outstanding as well. A lot of good food and drink options, and we really enjoyed our stay there
I would have liked to have a fridge in the room but it was only a small inconvenience. The staff always got us what we needed and stored things we needed to be stored in a fridge.

Everything. From the cold coffee and the comfiest bed to the wonderful service, we truly had an amazing time here.
There's nothing we didn't like but make sure you get clear directions for the location of the hotel, especially on feast days!

Exceptional. Beautiful property of character. Wonderful grounds, great views. Most of all, the young staff were so polite and attentive.
It is a destination in its self but it is something of a treck to get anywhere.

Just fabulous! Great customer service!!

The infrastructure was good and maintainence was tidy.
The staff and their training seriously does not warrant a 5 star property. I generally do not write reviews. But this staff has forced me to write this. I hope the higher management takes this seriously.

The place has a wonderful serene ambience and a lot of style in the old Portuguese tradition, even though it is a recent build. I loved the very personalised service that you can't get at big hotels and the extreme care they take of their guests. I loved quietly reading the daily newspapers in the lounge room. I kept abreast of international news but also got a real flavor of what's going on locally and of indian culture generally. I also read a novel in the loungeroom, to the background of thunderstorms and incessant rain. It felt like being in my own home. I also loved the pool and swam even though it was monsoon season and rained heavily every day.
I needed to get a driver every day to take me places. I could not stay within the confines of the hotel. I would have preferred to be a bit more independent and not have the driver wait for me at every place, but that is hard to organise if you don't know how long you will be. I like to explore and take time with places, especially Panjim, which has a lot of interest but you need to wander to appreciate what it has.
I worked out my own itinerary, which kept me busy enough for a week during monsoon season ( not the time to go to beaches), but I think hotel staff could advise more itineraries for guests to explore Goa.
I also didnt like the 5% service fee they naturally added to the bill, which they say is not mandatory. I determined not to pay it and they deducted it. No doubt many would not realise that it is not mandatory to pay.

nothing specific, all excellent

Great service by the staff - prompt, smiling and willing to customize! Well maintained, beautiful, quiet and green property! Good food, everything is freshly prepared. Short distance to most attractions in Old Goa.
The room is a bit small and sparse (no TV, mini-fridge, limited storage and seating). We didn't find the bed very comfortable - very high, broad and soft mattress. Limited facilities in the property. Also, they can provide a bit more curated and proactive recommendation on things to do nearby.

Thé property is very homely. The staff made us feel at home be for food or any small requirement. The food was amazing especially the fish fillet that we had enjoyed at dinner.and we can have our food at any time that is like more than home!
Bathroom washbasin was clogged and the geyser was not working. However the technician had worked on it promptly. To have a TV in the room is much advisable.

Very warm and hospitable staff. They made our Anniversary very special. The little details make all the difference. I'm excited to visit more properties by The Postcard.

The chef is from Jammu and he made a fantastic Jammu feast for us. Breakfast was AmAzin too! Loved that we have a lot of privacy... Pool was just us. The church next door is quaint and a great sunset point.
Bed was too soft... Would've prefered something a bit firmer. The goan dishes (outside of breakfast) were average. Which is why we asked the chef where he was from etc.
