Mit Liebe eingerichtet mit tollem Essen.

Innen sehr schön ausgestattet. Moderne Einrichtungen und sauber. Das Frühstück war super. Tolle Brötchen, Brote, Lachs und Brotaufstriche. Das Restaurant ist sehr schön eingerichtet und das Essen a la Card ist super gut. Die Karte ist nicht groß , doch das Essen ist sehr hochwertig. Daher preislich etwas gehobener, jedoch gerechtfertigt. Die Getränkeauswahl ist entsprechend gut und der Service ebenfalls.

Die Lage an der Hauptstraße mitten in Ort ist weniger das Problem, jedoch sieht man nicht auf den ersten Blick das Hotelgebäude. Von den Fotos her wären wir von einem gut erkennbaren Hotel ausgegangen, z.B. ist ein Gebäude mit Turm abgebildet, welches wir nicht gesehen haben. Das scheint ein älteres Bild zu sein. Das Hotel liegt somit „zwischen den Häusern“ und hat keine sehr gute Lage. Das Nebengebäude und die Parkplätze sind etwas versteckt zu finden. Man muss an der Straße halten und erstmal ins Restaurant gehen, wo sich die Rezeption befindet, und sich erklären lassen, wo man parken kann. Dort angekommen, wäre eine Leuchtreklame sinnvoll, um die richtige Hofeinfahrt zu finden, denn im Dunkeln ist die kleine Hitelflagge nicht zu sehen. Im Zimmer war alles ok, bis auf die Decken, die dünnen Sommerdecken waren. Es gab noch zusätzlich Kuscheldecken, doch das war zu dünn und die Heizung wollten wir auch nicht aufdrehen. Also haben wir leicht gefroren. Samstag Abend war leider um 21:30/22:00 keiner mehr da, so dass der Drink an der Bar ausgefallen ist.

Nach zwei Jahren waren wir wieder inm Gasthaus Zur Krone und es hat uns sehr gefreut, dass sich das gute Niveau gehalten

Schöne Zimmer, leider etwas laut bei geöffnetem Fenster, aber es war ok. Toller Biergarten, schönes Restaurant, exzellente Küche, super Personal

Schöner Aufenthalt in schöner Umgebung

Schönes großes geräumiges sauberes Zimmer. Das Bad war sehr sauber schön und man hatte viel Platz, auch unter der Dusche.

nichts U( Die Karte war für Vegetarier sehr überschaubar. Bei einem längeren Aufenthalt hätte man vielleicht mit der Küche sprechen müssen. )

Ein toller Kurzurlaub im geliebten Dahner Felsenland

Wunderschön eingerichtet, sehr liebevoll dekoriert. Unglaublich freundliches, zuvorkommendes Personal und hervorragende Küche. Hunde herzlich willkommen :-)

Stylish, comfortable accommodation, amazing food and lovely staff!

Big, comfortable room with great interior design throughout. The staff were really friendly and accommodating (Particularly to our lack of german). The breakfast was amazing, so much choice. Also the dinner was the best dinner we had on our trip and we had come from the Dolomites! We would love to come back in the summer with our dog and hike the local trials.

Could of had a better view from room however as its a village location you can't expect vistas in all rooms. Maybe could have a room option with a bath?

Charming short break

This is a 'quirky' but charming location. The rooms are in a building separate from the main premises and parking is available immediately adjacent and very convenient. There is a restaurant, bar and beer garden, the latter of which where one could sit in the shade of fruit trees. The village is not far from a larger town, Dahn, and various tourist attractions. Walkers/hikers are well served with a large choice of signposted routes, some of which ascend the interesting sandstone formations in the mountains. Two choices of vegetarian meals were offered in the restaurant and breakfast was very nice.
