Lovely place with a kind owner who is caring about the guest so much

This place is located central in El Nido. The owner and stuff are so caring and kind. I stayed a night and came back for three other nights. The rooms are clean, towels are available and you can get water and tea/coffee 24/7 at the groundfloor. It was amazing to stay there.

Cool place to stay in el nido

Really nice place, in the heart of el nido town. The staff willing to help whenever you need, also they keep drinkable water hot an cold all day. Loved the two little cats they have 😊

Location is great. Clean, comfy rooms. Arjay at front desk was a gem to talk to and very hospitable. He helped book all our tours and transportation and made our stay really great!

Overall, I don't think I will book again this hotel.

Location-wise, it's near the beach and surrounded by restaurants, convenience stores, and souvenir shops. The staffs are helpful with all our inquiries and needs.

Wifi is only available in the common area (smoking area). Beach towels, to my surprise, are not free. Basically, you have to pay 50php EACH. I didn't get what I paid for, considering the number of rooms I had booked.

The location was perfect! It’s at the center but not where the loud bars are at. The beach is walking distance as well as the good restaurants. The staff were really helpful and assisted us with our needs.

It was worth the money. They have very comfortable room and accessible to the town proper.

The location is perfect, just within the El Nido town.

There’s no wifi in your room just in garden and breakfast area.

Over all... our stay was very good.... i will recommend amakan to my relatives and friends...

Did not have breakfast.... The place is in a great location... i love the silence along the vicinity, specialy at night.

location was good, and it was pretty quiet.

No Wifi in the rooms at all. No soap or shampoo in the shower. Shower was not clean - there was someone else's hair in the drain. AC was weak. Plugs fell out of the sockets near the bed. Couldn't accept a credit card, had to pay in cash. Seemed to be hidden charges, resulting in the cost of the stay being 17% higher than what was on Booking.

It was not a positive experience. We are a group of 3 people and we were separated in 1 single room (individual) and 1 deluxe room (Twin Room). The single room had flagrant problems of humidity, with an unbearable smell of moisture and quite claustrophobic. The conditions were so bad, that we were "forced" to move to another deluxe room after one night. The Hotel refused to take over this expense, and we had to pay another 100 euros for this. Frequent power cuts, some days with no water - since it’s connected to the electricity - and no hot water in one of the rooms. The Staff is not interested in finding solutions and prefers to smile when they face adversity (quite annoying, frankly). Wi-fi does not reach the rooms, being available at the front desk. We travel throughout Southeast Asia and we know perfectly what the local standard is. Extremely expensive for the existing conditions. A positive point for the daily tours, which are made by a very competent Third Party, for safety and location. Despite this, we will not miss it. Avoid this accommodation at all cost.

Great accommodation

I like the cleanliness and the staff are so responsive. The location is great eventhough it is not a beachfront.

There is no wifi in the room which is kind of the downside.

Rooms for 2 were ok but 1 of us was in a single room and that was not ok. Very moist, low from frogs. Little communial sitting area.
