Carolina was very kind and waited up to greet us as we were arriving late. She gave us information on where to eat or order food, where to have a proper coffee the next morning. There is a small pool and nice outdoor area. The cabin-style room is decorated simply but quite new and clean, with little details crocheted personally by the owner. There is a flat screen tv, refrigerator, hotplate, microwave and tableware and cutlery as well as some cooking implements. A small table and chairs in the kitchen area. Breakfast is catered for with tea, coffee and powdered milk, orange juice packs, crackers and various spreads. The place seems to be far from the madding crowd but we only slept the night in the off season so there were no tourists to be seen anywhere. We were pleasantly surprised after having stayed at some awful places across the border in Uruguay.

I would have liked to have more blankets available but I wasn't actually cold and later I found one spare blanket. I'm sure if I would have asked, more would have been provided right away. The access is along dirt roads that aren't in the best condition.
