The room is cosy, clean, well-equipped, spacious, and in a great location for easy access to most of the old town's attractions.

Beautiful apartment with great location in the heart of the old town. Many restaurants and souvenir shops nearby and short walking to main tourist attractions e.g. Gediminas Hill. This is a great choice for a couple taking a city break.
Pilies Street is alive and noisy. Unfortunately, the sound isolation of windows is poor. This wasn't a problem for us as we usually stay awake at least until midnight. If you are a light sleeper and want to go to bed early, remember to pack ear plugs with you.
Apartment is located in the very old building and during the cold season it may be cold inside. Just pack a pair of woollen socks and warm pyjama and you'll be fine.

The apartment is located in the very center, in a historic building. Beautiful view from the balcony to the Gediminas Tower. Interesting antique interior, large comfortable bed with fresh linens, the apartment was quite clean, good pressure of hot water. Easy self check-in, host answers questions quickly.
Since the apartment is located on one of the central party streets and the soundproofing of the windows is insufficient, it was quite noisy until 3 am, so it was hard for us and our small child to fall asleep. The apartment is small, more suitable for couples without children. There was no bedding for our child even though he was listed on the booking. The furniture is old, it's not suitable for everyone, although it was not a problem for us. Flushing in the toilet is not very convenient. Few crockery and kitchen utensils for cooking.

Besides being a bit cold, the room was great, especially the location..
The room could've been warmer. As it was central heating, we could not regulate it..

the location
I stayed in Angel House from Friday the 14th to Sunday the 23rd of October and picked this apartment because of the location and even though it looked old from the photos I thought it was fine otherwise in terms of cleanliness. I was disappointed to find the apartment in poor condition without proper insulated windows so cold air was constantly leaking in, the dishes and cutlery had old dried up food stains on them, the bedsheet was ripped on the inside, dust and old cobwebs by the radiators that clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a while and the chain for flushing the toilet kept falling out so every time I had to get on top of a chair to fix it. The worst part was that there was no heat in the apartment and the small electric heater the owner had provided wasn’t enough. After I wrote to the owner about the radiators not working, she replied that the heat in Vilnius would only start on Monday (I arrived on Friday). I asked for an extra heater and she told me to look under the staircase and if there was another heater I could use it, so I went downstairs and found one but it still didn’t help much considering it was in mid October and already really cold in Vilnius and building was an old building from the 1800’s. By Tuesday the radiators were still cold so I wrote to the owner about it to have the problem fixed since she had written to me earlier that they wanted me to put the second electric heater back so they could take it. She told me that her husband would come to fix the radiators the following day on Wednesday and agreed to let me keep the second heater until then. The husband came to fix the radiators the following day.. I guess he had to take out some water from the radiators which he did but spilled water all over the rug so it was soaking wet. The problem wasn’t fixed and when I wrote to Christina the owner about it she didn’t bother replying back and since the apartment was cold in general the rug never got dry..

Very clean, in the city center
the fact that the doors have to be closed with the keys all the time

Perfect location, lots of cafes and restaurants around. Museums and other attraction. The apartment itself is very authentic, in a charming old town house.
It was a little bit chilly in the apartment (probably it is just the fact we were in the autumn and the heating season has not started yet). Sound isolation is very poor, even if windows are closed you can hear everyone in the street.

It was truly a very enjoyable experience with the utmost consideration of the hosts for the well being of the visitors. We enjoyed the cozy spaces that were provided and the amazing position of the appartment at the center of the city.
The only complaint that could be made was the proclivity of water in the shower to take lots of time to warm up. Having said that it can be explained by the location of the stay in the old town, so no hard feeling there :)

The hot water needed a lot of time to arrive.... too much!

The stay was exceptional due to the location, facilities, and the host's kindness. We loved the place so much and would love to suggest it to everyone that visits Vilnius. The architecture and interior design were what we loved the most.

We loved our stay there. Excellent location, in one of the most central spots of vilnius. The room was spacious and clean. Super easy check in: the host sent directions for the keys and many other directions to move around the city. Highly recommend.
Minor comment: restock of some kitchen supplies (salt, pepper etc.) would have been nice.

The location is phenomenal but, sadly, that is a mixed blessing. Large room and very aesthetically designed. Host is sweet and sincere. Getting into the property was easy and the explanations were clear. They had a particularly amazing shower foam. Overall, if you are a deep sleeper its a perfect place.
Noisy at night. Choose this place only if you are deep sleeper. Unfortunately I am a light sleeper and barely got a good night's rest and fell sick :-( While there are no noisy pubs or loud music, because the apartment is right along an iconic pedestrian tourist street and close to university there will always be people taking loudly at night while walking. Somehow, even with the high quality windows closed, it woke me up every night. There were issues with wifi which eventually got solved.

Nice and cosy apartment ! Wonderful balcony. Cafe, restaurants and supermarket close to the accomodation!

nice location of the house, lovely authentic design.
it was too cold inside and too much noise from the neighbours, feels like there is no sound isolation at all. I had to wait at least 5 min for hot water in the shower. Final price was 20euro more then indicated in the search list, cleaning fee pops up in the last moment, just before payment page.

Location Location Location, a locked key box was available for contactless check-in, the owner sent an information sheet with all you needed to know about the apartment with some handy tips. The pics attached are the views from the balcony overlooking Pilies g. and the view of Gediminas Castle. The room was highly cosy with nice furnishings throughout. I enjoyed reading the signed guest book which dated back several years with people from all around the world. I would have no hesitation to book another stay in the future. Highly recommended, great value for money.
Only the outside temperature! At around minus 18c didn't have the chance for a morning coffee on the balkonas :)
