Ideal location- easy walk into Elgin city centre and great views. The children’s bedroom was large and spacious. Very clean. Kitchen area was equipped with the essentials. Good garden to the front of the property. Very reasonably priced considering the location.
Kitchen area was relatively small- we didn’t eat in as we were visiting family, but it would have been hard to fully cater for a family of 5. Bathroom with shower was v small. Would have been great to have a few games to wait out the rain showers!

Location and seclusion. Good base to operate from. Very easy to get to and from

Property was adequate. No proper cooker and beds were open coil springs - very uncomfortable - but we managed.
UHT milk provided on arrival, which was a late timing, was off, so no tea/coffee until next morning.
Host very pleasant and helpful.
Arrival tea/coffee etc could have been better - expecting 3 so left 3 tea bags and 3 coffee pods - and milk that was off.
How much better this would have been if milk was fresh and in fridge and a bit more of each,
Beds definitely need sorting. If there had been 5 of us, as per the number of beds, it would have been very cramped as only 3 seats in the kitchen/dining/living area.
3.0
The location - walkable distance from the city centre.
The property is secluded, and has access to a private garden.
Rooms and washroom facilities are ill-proportioned. The fittings are dated - opening doors require a bit of elbow grease.

Nice and quiet but still fairly central
The private road leading in to the accommodation is in dire need of some upkeep

Very friendly and helpful landlord. The apartment was very clean and spacious. The location is very convenient close enough to the city centre and very quiet. Convinient parking.
Second bathroom was very cold as it doesn't have a heater but one bathroom was enough as we were only 3.
4.5
The weather was cold and the property is old with high ceilings and single glazing. However there are shutters on some of the windows and the central heating was on from about 7am until midnight, which meant the apartment was warm enough.
It was a 10 minute walk into Elgin town where there are a choice of restaurants - we went to Ada turkish restaurant which was superb.
The apartment was basic but clean with everything we needed.
We would probably book the bigger apartment in future - to have a bigger kitchen so we can cook more easily but we managed fine with the small oven and microwave.

It was quite small and cramped and the cooking facilities were not good. The kitchen facilities were very basic. Not what you would expect for the money paid

The apartment is ideally placed to explore the lovely city of Elgin, Loch Ness, Lossiemouth, Cawdor and Urquhart castles and Findhorn. Our host, Andrew, was very helpful and gave us lots of great tips for sightseeing that a travel guide wouldn’t offer and he also recommended some great places for eating out. The kitchen was compact but it was still perfectly possible to prepare and cook meals. Excellent plus points include: extremely comfortable beds, the quality of the power shower and the use of the lovely garden space. The extra bathroom was also very welcome, the apartment had secure parking and the area was safe.
All was good, thank you!

We had our Spain holiday cancelled at the last minute so was quite surprised to find accommodation at short notice in Elgin so we could spend time with family who live there. The apartment is in a prime position in Elgin, an easy walk to the shops and a short drive from lovely beaches and places of interest.
The beds were comfortable with lovely duvets and pillows.
Andrew the owner was very pleasant.
The bathroom was very compact and when I booked it said 2 bathrooms but there was only one with an extra toilet down some stairs. There was no loo roll on arrival and this was the only thing missing from our online shopping order so we had to quickly go out for some, one in each bathroom would have helped out till the following day.
