Kitchen facilities even though we didn’t use the stove. Apartment was clean and new. Yuzu was very friendly and welcoming.
No one informed that all the shops/restaurants in the area were closed on the Monday we arrived (perhaps due to Golden week?). Was looking forward to having some nice seafood and fish since we were close to the Mochimune port.. Unfortunately, we walked for close to 1 hour and everything was closed. We ended up driving out for half an hour looking for dinner. The blinds in the room are not black out so it was very bright at 5am in the morning.

Quiet location but close to stores.
I love breakfast that staffs came to prepare in our house. Delicious!!!
Short walk to the beach.
checkin staff was not fluent in English but excellent service mind,so it was not a problem.

very well maintained, the place is probably very well insulated, as there only 3 air conditioners blasting hot air in the big house, yet we didn’t feel chilly at all.
The staff were extremely helpful and we felt very welcome. Hattori-san also offered great suggestions for food and helped us order sushi from the nearby sushi restaurant when I told her we did not have a local number.
The highlight was the Japanese style breakfast which was prepared at the house we were staying by two lovely chefs, in the morning. it was a such a spread and we thoroughly enjoyed it!
NIL!

We stayed in the room with maximum 8 adults. All of us liked the room so much and the design of the room was so nice! There was a tatami room and we could sleep together with futon. Since we were international group, it was nice that my friends could experience of sleeping in Japanese style! There was also bed room and I thought it was nice idea because my friends could choose how we wanted to sleep. There were both shower room and bath. I really liked the design of bath! It was like Japanese hot spring and was so comfortable! It was our last big gathering for all of us in Japan, so we wanted to cook together and it was awesome that the room had kitchen! They had projector as well, so we could play musics we like! Also, there was rental bikes and it was convenient! All of us enjoyed at this property and liked hot spring near by! The staff was so nice, so thank you very much! :)
I could not find anything!

Fantastic base for exploring the region using JR pass, as the station is a 5 minute walk, two stops to Shinkansen station. The facility was dreamy, with tatami, great beds and bedding, fancy bathroom with cypress soaking tub, plus kitchen. As pictures show, these are amazingly renovated old buildings, and staying in them (we stayed in Chigusa) was wonderful. As breakfasts were prepared in room, this allowed time for us to get tips on visiting the region. This is not like staying on a busy street near the Duomo in Florence. We enjoyed that we were in a small fishing-port town, interacting with the locals, staying in super fancy accommodations. The bikes and Onsen added to experience as well. I recommend this facility most highly, and will return as soon as possible.
