Many good reviews and I can add one too it. Anna is a lovely and helpful host and arranged a very good tour for us.
The hotel is slightly outside the town which is fine. It is no luxury but the room is clean and the bed is fine.
The curtains are not big and dark again so light comes in at night.

It being on the water was pretty
I never write reviews, especially bad ones because I feel terrible about hurting someone’s business but I think I’d feel worse if I didn’t share our experience and caused more people to experience the same things. First, the hotel was filthy. I could tell immediately upon walking into the room that there would be bugs everywhere and there were. I saw countless cockroaches, spiders and bugs were flying around the room our entire stay. There were also a few rats in the room. At first we tried to kill whatever bugs we saw but they literally kept coming out of the walls and pipes. The first night, I woke up to a crab crawling up my leg in bed. Needless to say I didn’t get any sleep throughout our stay. After that, the cockroaches and bugs flying in my ear all night had me terrified. I also got about a hundred bites all over my body while being in bed. I’m pretty sure it’s bed bugs. After the first night when a crab literally got in bed with us, I asked for them to change rooms for us and they said none were available. They proceeded to “clean” the room again and just sloshed around a gross mop. They never wiped off the counters or corners where spider webs were all over. Also, the pictures are misleading because there is nowhere to swim. The pool looking picture is really just walled off ocean but it was either too low tide and there was no water in that area or it was too rough to swim. Please do yourself a favor and just stay in a hostel. Also there were not hot showers.

It was on the sea which was nice and the staff were lovely
WiFi not great, facilities were basic, the fan in the room didn't do much and the location was a bit far out

Its very accessible to Whale Shark Watching and place to eat.

good location, close to whalesharks and town

This is the most scenic and my most favorite hostel by far in Cebu. I love the view, the solitude and peace in this hostel is different.
Caretakers and Owner are so accomodating and very kind. Highly recommended hostel if you are visiting Oslob. So close to Whale Shark Viewing and Tumalog Falls. 😍 will go back here for sure!
I should only be staying for a night but ended staying for 5 nights in total. 😍

no aircon and the fan was really dusty blowing dirt around the room

The bathroom is basic

Sea view, the owners are really friendly and helpful we booked all our trips through them and they arranged a tricycle for us every time. They even helped booking our onward travel.
when we arrived we asked to exchange rooms straight away as the first room we was put in wasn’t clean, full of bugs and not somewhere I would sleep. so make sure you book an aircon room!

The room was really basic. Very noisy A/C and the shower was not working properly.

We asked to be upgraded we had to pay extra, but once we were upgraded the rooms were SO much nicer. Make sure to book an Aircon room!
The location wasn’t great about 30 min walk to some restaurants.

Location
4.1
This small little hotel is located RIGHT AT THE SEA. During high tide the sea reaches upto the parapet of the hotel. It is located about ten minutes driving time away from the Whale Shark Center - that is actually the raison d'etre of the hotel.
We had booked two rooms in the hotel, a corner one with sea view and the other, inside one. The sea view room has an attached varandah on which you can sit and have your breakfast......a real delight to gaze over the sea sitting here.
The staff of the hotel is very polite and serviceable. They serve a good breakfast (on payment).
If you need a hair dryer or an adopter for your mobile, just ask the ladies working there.
You have to descend about ten steps to get to the hotel from the main road. If ýou have mobility issues, you should be aware of this.
Overall, a very pleasant experience staying here for one night.
All good for a one night stay.

The staff were super friendly and helpful. The place had a really friendly atmosphere and the communal areas make it great to meet and interact with other travellers

Clean, spacious rooms. Idyllic location with stunning views by the sea - you could even walk right into the sea from the property, although aqua shoes would be a good idea if you did. Breakfast available on site and there's also bar, perfect for sunset drinks. And if you don't feel like going into town, you can get food delivered. You can also book all your tours here. Anna, the owner is so helpful, even flagging down tricycles and buses for her guests. I'd definitely stay here again.

The staff were very friendly and super helpful in arranging tours/activities I wanted to do - very organised. Without them it would have been very chaotic to do the activities I visited Oslob to do.
They also guided me with how to achieve the next leg of my journey which I am very grateful for.
The toilet had no seat.
4.1
Air conditioning working.
Sea view.
Bed sheets too small for mattress
Overpriced food , BIG breakfast is one egg, one slice ham one piece bread and small coffee
Hot water heater blocked and no water flow , hence , no hot shower for entire visit
Lame excuse about water tank slow , but the Fawcett all working fine.
Severe lack of maintenance , should be priced according .
Told on arrival only room available was the highest price corner suite . Then it looked like other rooms were unoccupied, hmmm .

Clean comfortable room, nice scenery and seaview, food and drinks available.
Warm water in the shower, not so good showerhead.
Not too far from town and close to sights.
Call Fritzie Figues 09562768772 and 09433744949 for good tour package....the hotel should consider using her too
Somewhere I'll stay again
You can take a Ceres bus into town and onto other destinations.
The plumbing needs some improvement, the toilet system was running all night and the shower was warm but not the best action, there's pressure but the showerhead needs replacing.
The tour package available was more expensive than if you shop around, look up whallesfallsland on Facebook aka Fritzie Figues 09562768772 and 09433744949
Not so easy for a tricycle to town, try shouting someone to send one or collect a couple of tricycle numbers from town or use the Ceres bus

Amazing view, spacious room with big window, balcony, table and chairs etc. paid extra for air con but didn’t mind. Completely worth the price, and the owner was so helpful!
