The rooms at Lake Gregory Hotel were nothing short of luxurious. Tidy, cozy, and well-appointed, they exceeded my expectations in every way. It was clear that the owner and staff take pride in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and comfort for their guests. Speaking of the staff, I was blown away by the warm and friendly service I received throughout my stay. The owner went above and beyond to make special arrangements for us, and the entire staff treated us like a valued guest. Their hospitality and attentiveness made me feel welcome and well-cared for, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to my experience at Misty Paradise of Lake Gregory.One of the highlights of my stay was the delicious food at the hotel. I am A Plastic Surgeon From Jaffna. I stayed with my family at Misty Paradise last weekend .

Hosts are very flexible and friendly. Boss is part of the team very jovial going out of the way to make sure visitors get best of everything. Food is excellent, to entertain kids he prepared special dishes. It's a wonderful experience for all of us .Kids like to visit Misty paradise next year too. We highly recommend for all families to experience this 270 degrees Lake view property this season.

Queen of Lake Gregory

Really good location, very kind hosts. We were lucky to meet the owners who were very hospitable as well as the staff. Our room was upgraded for free (Deluxe-> Superior). Our room had a stuning view of the lake. They provided free accomodation and meals for our driver/guide! They conjured up a wonderful dinner taking into account the guest's taste. All meals were different and tasty. Very recommended :-)

Host Subash is passionate about creating memorable experiences for his guests. Right from meeting us when we arrived to putting together an awesome vegetarian home cooked meal for breakfast and dinner we were thoroughly impressed. I was thoroughly impressed with my room at this hotel. The view from the room was amazing. Moreover, the room was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The staff members were all very friendly and helpful, which made us feel at home. The food at the hotel was also excellent. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

We stayed for 2 nights, owner and staff were very nice, we felt very welcomed. We get free upgrade for better room with beautiful view from the balcony. The breakfast was big, very tasty and every morning they preparred something else. The first evening they preparred for us very tasty dinner as well. Room was clean, bright, bed was very comfy. It was little bit cold in the room but we ask for more blankets and we have very good sleep. I recomend this accomodation!

Best place to stay

Best place to stay in Nuwara Elia for sure. Close enough to the city center and all attractions to walk near amazing park along lake Gregory, hotel with just fantastic 360 degrees view around the Nuwara Elia, and surroundings. Rooms are nice and clean, hot water and great views. Personal is super friendly and bring a nice surprise for our family, as well as a great dinner and breakfast. Definitely recommend and will return one day for longer stay.

It was a little bit cold in the rooms, but i think it is possible to ask owner to bring the heater or additional blankets

Delightful stay with views over beautiful Lake Gregory

We had a wonderful stay at the Misty Paradise. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome. Our room had stunning views over Lake Gregory, and we loved spending the afternoon admiring the landscape with a cup of tea. The host also cooked us delicious local Sri Lankan food, which we enjoyed both for dinner and breakfast. The home made roti were particularly delicious!

Our only regret was that we couldn’t stay longer!

Everything. It is absolutely The Best Place to stay in Nuwara Eliya, hands down. We were upgraded to a better room and treated like family members. The owner, Subhash uncle took us for rides in Nuwara Eliya on his Land Rover and we visited the temple with us, we loved our interaction with him. The food was excellent, they prepared dinner for us which was delicious. Apart from that the manager Ramya and all other staff were extremely welcoming, even before we reached Ramya was very responsive and coordination was superb. It is actually a very reasonable price for the room, the views, the kindness that you receive.

Nothing there that is not to like. Everything was perfect.

Fantabulous!!

we loved the hospitality. we received home like feeling. The property owner (Uncle) and the manager (Aunty) took care of all the essentials. We spent 3 night in the property and everyday was just fantastic. The both spent time with us chatting, had lot of fun 😊!! Grateful to uncle that he came all the way to the bus stop dropping us…Must stay place ❤️
