Ayiopetra Exclusive Getaways exceeded all of our expectations and made the final stop on our honeymoon truly unforgettable, so much so that we are already plotting our trip back to this magical place. Our favorite part of our vacation was the 5- course breakfast offered here each morning; we especially loved that everything we ate was sourced straight from Sagri or surrounding villages and baked fresh each day on-site. The overall design and location was also unparalleled, nestled in the valley and surrounded by sheep, rolling hills, and olive groves. Finally, the client service offered here is truly one-of-a kind. Upon arriving, we were provided with a carefully curated list of recommendations for what to see and eat in Naxos, which we followed religiously and were never disappointed. Safe to safe we will be back soon; thank you again for a truly 5-star stay!

Ayiopetra is such a beautiful place in the most serene area of Naxos. My husband and I felt so exclusive there and completely relaxed just sitting out on our deck or the pool area staring out into the beautiful olive tree groves and rolling hills. The service was wonderful too! The breakfast was out of this world (with the added benefit of their sweet dog fudge sitting by your side)… and Dimitri gives you wonderful suggestions for activities and places to eat (just follow his suggestions you can’t go wrong!) Definitely a 10/10 experience that you MUST go to. We can’t wait to come back someday soon :)

The breakfast was outstanding! Delicious, fresh and beautifully presented. All served in a serene setting overlooking the countryside. Property location was perfect for our needs--relaxing, close to hiking and visiting the surrounding historical sites and towns. The host and staff are lovely! Would most definitely return.

Can we give a better rate than 10? Literally everything was amazing! the place, the design, the vibe, breakfast, service and above all the hospitality of the team! Catarina and Dimitris were amazing hosts and all their recommendation were great!!! we enjoyed every minute of our stay and will definitely come back and recommend to everyone to go to Ayiopetra!!!
if you ever see any negative comment - ignore it - its not true :)

We loved everything about Ayiopetra! Dimitri and Tonia were so welcoming and made us feel right at home. The property is stunning, the rooms are beautiful and the breakfast was a real treat. If you're lucky you'll meet their gorgeous dog Fudge.
Dimitri even helped us with a hire car and it was delivered to the property which was so helpful.
Highly recommend staying here, it offered something different to our other stays in Greece. So glad I stumbled across this property, it was such a relaxing few days. A big thank you to Dimitri and Tonia!!

Peaceful location 20mins from Naxos port. The hotel itself was brilliant and very relaxing. Dimitri provided great suggestions for local tavernas and other activities. The breakfast was the best part!

The elaborate breakfast, the attentive touch, the homemade desserts each day, it felt like we were staying with family! And the VIEWS!!!
Almost TOO much food each morning - was a bit overwhelming!

Everything. Serenity, most amazing staff (feels like family), fantastic breakfast (times are perfect for people who do not want to eat at 7.30 during their vacation..). The rooms/houses are well-designed with a perfect mix of tradition and modern-day. You wake up to a beautiful view and never want to leave. Great pool as well. And if you are lucky, the owner’s dog comes around <3.

Fabulous and peaceful location

If I could give this 25+ stars, it still wouldn’t be enough to score the experience. Tonia and Dimitri along with their staff excelled at providing a true hospitality experience. If you think this is a hotel or resort or even a B&B, you would be insulting the classification of Ayiopetra. Tonia has set the bar extraordinarily high and others in the hospitality world should “hope” to come close to mirroring the experience here. I doubt they can.
Leaving.

This hotel blew my expectations. Everything was magical: the pool, the views, the breakfasts, the design of the place, and of course the staff! We felt very welcome and formed a strong bond with the lovely family who own and operate the place. It is a must.

We were welcome by the owners Dimitri and Tonia who make us feel really at home. They are always available to provide us good spots to visit and eat.
The environment is incredible, surrounded by the mountains, a view of the Demeter Temple and close to the beaches and monuments.
The Breakfast is just amazing, only composed by local products or home made and with a surprise dessert every day. Everything is also eco-friendly.
Finally the traditional houses in stones with mountains views and the pool make the experience amazing.
Thanks Dimitri and Tonia for being part of your family a couple of days, it was awesome.
Nothing, everything was perfect.

Perfect romantic getaway. Excelent breakfast.
The place is even more beautiful than the photos.

The place is magical, the views are amazing. The hotel is ideally located so that you can travel easily everywhere on the island. Yet sufficiently isolated to spend the best romantic time. The suites are a perfect embodiment of understated luxury. The breakfast is fantastic. But most of all, the hosts Dimitri and Tonia are unforgettable, kind and helpful. Amazing time

We loved the location, the details and aesthetics of the resort, the tranquility, service and breakfasts! In one word , we loved: everything! Dimitri and Tonia did a nice job to create a lovely and exclusive getaway. The surroundings are gorgeous, have diner at taverne Pigi, a hidden gem at Ana Potamia.
Noting not to be liked!

Our stay was beyond fantastic, this place is a true gem. Stunning location, wonderful architecture and design, and impeccable service! The owners put their whole heart into Ayiopetra and making their guests feel welcome. Also get ready for the most amazing breakfast; wide variety of homemade or locally sourced foods. Definitely will be back asap!

Ayiopetra is a special place and I am glad that I found this exclusive getaway: I loved...
+ The unique location - a private place to rest and relax.
+ The food - it was delicious, especially breakfast was so generous (prepared with products from Naxos and out of their garden).
+ The swimming pool, the pool area and the view over the countryside are magic.
+ The suite, its interior design and the passion for detail.
+ The family, its owners and its staff for their kindness and hospitality

I could not reccomend more the labour of love which is Ayiopetra. My husband and I had an absolutely wonderful stay here - it was the most personal and curated stay we have ever had. Tonia, Dimitris, Caterina (and their cute pet helpers Fudge and Socrates!) are the most welcoming team. The hotel is situated in the idyllic central Naxian plain, in front of the Temple of Demeter, goddess of agriculture and fertility - one can see why this very ancient temple was situated here. The positive energy of the location is tangible, and felt from the moment one steps out of the car - it feels like a new lease of life is awaiting you. The hotel itself is as boutique as it gets: simply stunning, curated down to every detail, and built with natural stone from the adjacent village (Sagri, on the outskirts of which the hotel is situated). The building nests itself peacefully on an hillside, in complete harmony with the local aesthetic and traditions. It truly is a bucolic paradise. But the exceptional moment at Ayiopetra is the breakfast - it is served as it should be: incredibly wholesome, local and homemade. There are Tonia's jams (7 of them!), local butter and eggs (from cows and chicken you can actually see on the road to the village), fresh breads, local yoghurt with honey and cereals, delicious Naxian cheeses and freshly picked fruits from Ayiopetra's gardens (including the Mediterranean classic, barbarian figs which are ubiquitous in the valley). The meal is almost a ritual, served at the perfect pace to give you a truly blissful start of the day. Ayiopetra was very safe in terms of covid-19: the use of masks, gloves and hand sanitiser is ubiquitous yet discrete, and all the rooms are sterilised in between visits. I felt safe and our stay was overall incredibly relaxing. Overall, this is the sort of stay which leaves you feeling wholesome, refreshed, and very grateful.

A little piece of heaven
Ayiopetra is absolutely unique!
Tonia, Katarina, and the team have put their heart and soul in taking care of this little gem.
The atmosphere is very relaxed and homely but at the same time, everything is so smart and well done. Small details and everything is looked after with love and care. The beds are super good (Coco-Mat) and everything in the apartment lovely and worked well. Breakfast was super good and original and always served with a smile.
We also had dinner one night, and it was super good.
The swimming pool and the garden is beautiful with a spectacular and lovely view.
What makes the place is Tonia and her staff, that went out of their way to make the stay good.
“In a nutshell”: Fantastic hotel and great hosts!
This is one of the best summer holidays we've been to. We hope to be able to come back sometime.
