The cottage was wonderful. It had everything we needed for our New Year celebration. We took our dogs and the location was perfect with wonderful walks and views. It was very clean, cosy and well equipped.
I can’t fault it; there is nothing I would change.

Lots of space, very clean and comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen, large living room and two dining areas. Great situation for walking straight from the front door. Hundreds of books, DVD’s and games available if you want to stay indoors in front of the wood-burning fires. The host Christine was very helpful and even offered us a lift to a restaurant one evening when we had to return to the farmhouse after finding the nearest pub closed.
The farmhouse is very isolated, at the end of a long and winding single-track lane.

Nice Cottage in a very secluded area, extremely good if you like to enjoy quietly on your own.
Approach road to the Cottage a bit challenging in a bad weather, but if you have an SUV then no problem

The space and location were ideal for our stay. Secluded and quiet with great views across the Valley. Kitchen has a great range if utensils and beds are comfy.
Directions to the property could be clearer. It is in a rural location and once you turn into the property drive there and no signs. There was also an issue with parking not being clearly marked, and as we arrived late in the dark we were unaware that we had blocked access for other guests in a different property. We received some curt communication from the host because of this, which added unnecessary stress to our visit. Cleanliness was good , though there were cobwebs in a couple of the bedrooms.

Location was tremendous, house itself huge comfortable and characterful. Surrounding area full of activities and scenery top notch.
Would be good to have access to a portion of the garden below, maybe with some steps as no grass for kids , etc.

Perhaps different sofas as the existing ones were slightly difficult to get in and out of!

Wonderful cottage with comfortable furniture!
Gorgeous views and a fully equipped kitchen.
Hiking from the property is great with a good network of footpaths.
The access road is a little bumpy - it's a farm track so low slung cars beware!

Fabulous view. Super woodlands to explore. Fantastic location. We loved the Aga.
Loads of space in the house for the whole family to spread out and then come back together. Local wildlife walking right up to the house: rabbits, deer, squirrels, birds.
Amazing walks in the Wye valley and excellent family canoe trip.
Thoroughly relaxed and recuperated!

Pretty and quiet location and convenient for hiking straight from the property. Accommodation had everything we required. There is a pretty church just below the property and wonderful views. We visited late spring and the woods were full of bluebells. Beautiful.
