Breakfast was lovely - unusual method of choosing breakfast in that you order exactly what you want the night before - but all very pleasant and lovel obliging host
All good nothing to dislike (nearest village restaurant was shut on Monday)

A ood selectionof teas, the continental breakfast was very good but selection was minimal, to keep the cost down nothing was wasted except for one guest who complained her egg was too hard boiled. It was a bit quirky trying to emulate some Englishness which didn't quite work but good attempt. It was a good idea to save water by having shared shower room for that reason I didn't take a shower there so that was a good reason to save water. I liked the quaint street where the Snoeperij was located.
It would have been nice to know that the beds were located one under another and to access them you had to move the top mattress onto a pull out bed frame and because the room was quite narrow there was aminmal space to walk passed it. Didn't like the wooden staircase --- seemed to be quite dangerous and the child's gate at the top of the stairs would constantly bang against our door when someone came through it, it was necessary however to prevent people falling down the stairs but could have been sited on the opposite wall to prevent it from banging into our door. The dishes, cups and plates were "crazed" this is a health issue as eating from "crazed" plates can cause stomach problems. The idea of using old English plates is good but coming from the city where these ceremics were produced gives me a kowledge of their failures. "Crazed" is a term indicating the glaze of the ceremamic article is no longer good --- it has a pattern of lines in irregular directions. Unfortunately these ceremics are minmally produced in my city of Stoke -on- Trent such as "Wedgwood" the owners outsourced the production to countries abroad where they could use cheap labour which is a pity as it caused a declinr in the city's good standing. De Snoeperij is a good place if you book the right room, we obviously didn't.

For a car, the location was pretty good since there was a car park nearby that you can use for free. There are good restaurants within driving distance as well as the city of Rotterdam and other things. Breakfast was generous and the room had a pleasant vibe. It's basically a 'mom and pop' shop which felt more authentic and sincere than you'd get with the bigger chains. The host clearly communicated an interest in making our stay pleasant.
Having an in-room toilet and bathroom would have been more convenient, but it wasn't a major hassle since there aren't that many rooms using it.

Lovely welcome from the hosts!
Rooms tastefully decorated, beds comfortable, we spent a very good quiet night.
Awesome breakfast, kids even got some sweets from the shop for free!
We had not realised that the bathroom would be shared among the 4 rooms... When booking we did not read the detailed description of facilities available. But luckily the other rooms were unoccupied so we ended up having all facilities to ourselves :-)

The hosts were fantastic. Friendly and helpful. Breakfast was so cozy in the amazing dining room. The decor and the beautiful old building was truly “gezellig”. Lovely room and I slept very well.
A little noisy from other guests in the hall and stairs. But with an old building like this it can’t really be avoided. Still slept well.

The owner lady was super friendly and helpful! The house is very old (600 years) but renovated and decorated nicely. There are 4 rooms to stay and also 3-4 toilets with 1 bathroom which is enough for all people staying there. The breakfast was perfect!
Nothing much to dislike honestly. It would only be better to put a board outside of the house since it is not very clear where the entrance is.

We had a very friendly welcome to this small B&B. The building has plenty of character and there are good facilities for making drinks in the room. We chose what we wanted for breakfast the night before and everything was laid out ready for us the next morning and very tasty. Space very nearby to park our motorbikes which helped a lot as well. We were directed to the pub/restaurant over the road which served a great evening meal, too.
Nothing to dislike here really, it was a great overnight stay. We got confused which door to knock on when we arrived, but that was only a minor issue (it's the dark blue one with a doorbell, not the black door with a knocker!)

- Perfect quirky little bed and breakfast.
- Free parking available close by
- Lovely and large breakfast included
- Coffee maker and kettle in the room
- Nothing to do with the property- the location on Google maps is wrong for some reason, so make sure you read the address and follow the street names.
