Rhonda and Tom were attentive, helpful and kind hosts. Nothing was too much trouble, and all requests were attended to promptly and happily. They made the stay feel like home. It’s an older property but well kept for its vintage. Far preferable to nicer places that have no heart. This is our “go to” place whenever in Toowoomba. Highly recommended.
Only local TV stations available, but that wasn’t a problem for us.

Prefect location for proximity to hospital
Wifi was not working while we were there

I like that it was very close to the hospital, walking distance.Free parking, clean, cosy, plenty of room, plenty of spare blankets& pillows, lovely place with pool, barbecue & seating and play ground areas, helpful staff, secure& friendly.
I did not like the leaky toilet upstairs had to go downstairs toilet or the bend in the stairway(we both nearly tripped & fell down),two faulty air cons. The large bed was a bit hard and blankets were too heavy but warm, but the single bed was so comfortable with nice soft minx blanket, I had the best sleep.

big and spacious
wifi does not work and I am fairly certain that it has not been working for a while now.
you needed to clean up all plates and pots etc and put them away or will be charged extra cleaning fee. also required to throw rubbish away in commercial bin at the end of stay. Most placed I have stayed at do not stipulate these requirements.
Also, AC requires key to turn on in living area and has an automatic switch off timer. battery on remote needs to be replaced.
AC in another room also was not working.

we were in the two story units , very spacious fully decked out
the lovely lady at reception was more than happy to extend our departure time due to my husband leaving the hospital a little later than expected
walk to st Vincent’s hospital in 2 mins could leave the car at the unit and walk through the back gate walk past a coffee shop and across the road to the hospital entrance
felt very safe, private location
will stay again

pretty quiet location. comfortable bed. super clean. lovely staff.
couldn’t find any cutlery or plate to use even though there was a microwave and toaster available for preparing basic food.

the lodge provided a two bedroom option for two travellers and undercover parking for cars
the living area downstairs was very dark due to having brick walls, which was a disincentive to socialising in this room .
the single bed mattress moved on the base mattress whenever you turned over so it was like sleeping on a boat
the stairs to upstairs floor needed a light on in the daytime to see where you were going
the balcony furniture is very old and dirty so I didn't sit outside on the balcony
on departure i waited in reception 5 minutes while the bell rang continuously & called out several times with no response

Handy safe walk to St Vincents Hospital. Quiet. Adequate facilities for what I needed.

We took our own breakfast and it was so good to have a toaster in the room. Please put this on your website as it did not state that there was a toaster available.
The location was great and it was so quiet and comfortable.
There was not anything not to like.

The location is very close to the Toowoomba Private Hospital if you are visiting for that reason. Short walk to Queens Park and to a shopping centre.
I was disappointed with the lack of any plates or cutlery. I had purchased a take away meal but found I had to eat it from the container with a tea spoon!

Very convenient location. Good value for a short stay. Reverse cycle air con is nice to have. Aging property but rooms appear to be well kept. The owners are lovely.
Had some trouble sleeping on the bed as it was a little too springy for me.
