A very pleasant stay,and just round the corner from Plas Newydd house

The room was clean with a pleasant view of the garden.Breakfast was excellent with a good choice of cereals.

Clean, quiet and comfortable. We appreciated the large room with ensuite and good view. Breakfast is very good. A nice place to spend time in a lovely location. Short walk into the centre of town and LLangollen wharf and rail station.

Excellent stay

Excellent service, comfy beds and tasty breakfast. Nice and tidy room with a garden view and bathroom. Private parking spot at the back of the house. Dave is a very warm and helpful host. Everything was very good!

Hillcrest is an excellent b and b with everything you need.

Hillcrest is in an ideal situation in a quiet side road in the middle of the town. It is less than 10 minutes walk down to the railway and river. The breakfast room is set with various size tables and the scope of breakfast foods was generous.. The cooked breakfast wasexcellent and we remarked on the quality of the ingredients especially the sausages.

The access to the car park is suitable for normal vehicles. Large vehicles may struggle to use the access to the rear car park due to the building end wall and the garden retaining wall.

Dave is fab, friendly and helpful with eating recommendations. Super breakfast with plenty of variety and quality.

Slightly cramped room - would suggest remove table and chairs and just put 1 chair in corner.

As a local, friendly, and character B&B, this fitted the bill, I’d gladly stay again.

Quiet, welcoming and informative hosts, off street parking, character property. Location was ok, close to town just a moderate hill walk , all good

Brilliant location and comfortable stay.

The owner was friendly and helpful. The room was big and breakfasts excellent. The location was perfect and it had its own car park.

Excellent location with parking and very dog-friendly. Lovely recently refurbished room (No 6) with new mattresses provided us with two good nights' sleep. :-)

A real find, would not hesitate to book this B & B again.

Excellent breakfast. Friendly, helpful hosts. We had our Jack Russell with us who was made to feel equally welcome. Room described as small twin, but was plenty big enough, clean and comfortable as was bathroom. Property in quiet location just off the centre of Llangollen which is within easy walking distance with plenty of good places to eat.

We had a really lovely three night stay at this B & B, there was nothing not too like

Quiet & good location, except hill to town was steep,

I did not receive my breakfast in the morning. Customer service was beyond poor.

Friendly good value for money b & b

The room was clean and it had very comfortable beds. There was a shower room en-suite, tea making facilities and a hairdryer. The location was good, a short walk downhill to the centre. We were able to bring our dog, which was an added bonus. The breakfast was great, There was plenty of choice ranging from full English to cereal and fruit with tea, coffee and juice. The owners/staff were very friendly and we would highly recommend a stay here.

There was nothing we did not like.
