The staff and the manager were very friendly, attentive and accommodating.
The room had many essential items and features missing.

Having two pools was very nice and the distance to and from POP airport. Staff was super friendly and attentive to our requests.
No restaurant on property as advertised. Area restaurants closed around 5p/6p.

I didn't like the fact that I was paying 958$ cdn through this company and at arrival to hotel I payed 1250% cdn and very unhappy with the overcharge through this app and most likely will never use it again!!

The staff were extremely friendly. The beach was a 1 minute walk. I got charged a bit extra and the manager upgraded my room to one that includes a kitchen. This was a very nice gesture. The security guards were always there and I felt very safe.

The pool area is nice and when I visited, it was very quiet and you had the whole courtyard & pool to yourself and maybe 1 other. Room is clean. There are always private security posted at the gate and in the back. The staff were friendly.
Primarily, the way the payment was charged was nearly a scam. It’s quoted in USD on booking. They then charge you with their in-house rate in DOP(esos). THEN, they run your credit card in USD again, reconverting it back with another processor rate. So you end up paying more. And if your card is from another country, say, HK, the conversion from USD to HKD would yet cost you again. I tried for 20 minutes to get the auto conversion de-selected on the credit card. They claim the machine won’t allow charge in pesos. So yeah, expect to pay 10% more than your Booking reservation shows.
Other stuff: no shampoo, no hot/warm water, no snacks or light meals

Great location. Pool was pretty nice!
Rate is not cheap. For that price should have included breakfast and smart TV.

Quiet and very clean it's actually what you see in the pictures if not nicer

landscaping and the pools. maintained and nicely sculpted
Our room did not have a coffee maker. As an early riser, I had to wait until one of the nearby coffee shops was open each morning. Also we were given a colored wrist band to identify us as guests. while out of the hotel it looked silly.

The Properties best asset was the location in town. The Pool/Pool Bar!
The staff were great. The Front Gate Security/The Front Desk Staff/The Pool
Bartenders/Grounds Keeping Staff were all Amazing.
The Maids/Room Cleanjng Staff were really good at first. And then for the last Month of my trip they were absent and my room was getting very dirty and no one cleaning it.
I even made a few complaints to the front desk staff that the Maids were not cleaning my room, they assured
me it would be done, and still wasn’t done!!!
I was away for 5 days in another part of the country, left garbage with food in the trash bins and dirty toilet paper in bathroom trash bins, towels in bathroom on floor for changing, when I got back from Las Terrenas 5 days later my bed was still not made, trash not emptied which attracted some bugs in there, and towels not changed.
I had to go to the separate laundry building to retrieve my own towels to change. This is completely UNACCEPTABLE!!!
The Maid/Cleaning Staff for the first 4 weeks were diligent about cleaning my room.
Then the last 4 weeks didn’t clean my room at all.
I was away 5 days in Las Terrenas and upon my return my bed was not made, Garbages in kitchenette and Bathroom still full with food and Dirty Toilet paper which attracted bugs into the room.
I complained to the front desk twice saying the maids were not cleaning the room and were absent they said they would do something about it, but no maids appeared.
I also had to go to a separate laundry building to retrieve my own towels. Because the Maids were not changing them out.
I also had to take toilet paper from the Front desk washroom area because no maids were bringing toilet paper to my room during the last month of my stay.
Another MAJOR issue with this place is That for most of my stay I had to keep
complaining about a water leak from the toilet and shower in the room above me, that was dripping into my bathroom. They finally got that fixed 5 days later.
Another MAJOR MAJOR issue is, most of the 2 months of my stay, I DID NOT have any HOT WATER.
The showers were cold to a cold/warm at best.
To me, all of these things are completely
UNACCEPTABLE when you’re paying 3800.00 to stay for 2 months.
I could have stayed in Le Callejon with no hot water, AC and a bed for 400.00
per month.
Or I could have stayed for the same
price in Ocean Dream and had a much bigger room, with AC and Hot Water for the same price directly on the Beach.
Casa Laguna. if you’re going to charge 1800-2000.00 per month. YOU HAVE TO HAVE HOT WATER. HAVE TO HAVE CLEANING STAFF THAT CLEANS THE ROOM AT LEAST 2-3 TIMES PER WEEK.
CHANGES THE TOWELS EVERY 2 DAYS.
***Another thing I didn’t like was the owner a short little Russian guy, on some of the weekends would have Girls (not sure if prostitutes?…and a bunch of friends to pool bar area. They would play loud horrible music, be loud and drunkenly obnoxious till late hours in the evening.

Loved the quiet away from the busy road. Great security and pool. Location is fantastic for shopping and access to the beach and restaurants.
Mosquitoes! Perhaps some spraying would help.
Water was a crap shoot ...most days no hot water, sometimes no water but usually terrible pressure.
Oh and contrary to some posts, no free coffee.
Nothing bad enough for us to recommend against there.

Location is in the center of the center. Passing the road to the beach and you are were all the bars, club(only ojo) and reaturant
Didn't clean our room one day, pool not clean the most. Start music from the bar of the pool 8 am.

the location. the quietness of the property
the bed mattress were extremely hard and the bed frame was made of concrete. the shower had no place to put any shampoos or soap you had to put your toiletries on the floor.the mosquitoes were a big nuisance. the refrigerator was very small. I had ask to be move to a somewhat bigger place with a somewhat bigger refrigerator and I was told that it was reserved plus the price was more.

Close to the beach and in the center of Cabarete.
Nice surrounding and quite fresh building.
The receptionist layed that we can't pay with the card for our stay and we had to pay with cash after quite bad conversion rate.
The property has internal rule to discount 5% for cash payment but we didn't get it. instead he took this money. the other receptionist showed us their internal conversation saying that we paid 5% less which wasn't true. Also she was surprised why we were said we can't pay with card.
As we didn't get any confirmation of the payment they couldn't do anything. but we suppose to get confirmation as it's their procedure.
we feel cheated and treated not fair. plus we lost some money due to bad rate conversion.
The main swimming pool was closed.
