Our unit had a well equipped kitchen. Excellent location, 5 minutes to lefts, 3 minutes to a nice restaurant-bar across the road/canal.
Rooms not spacious but quite adequate, well furnished and fitted out.
However, if we return to Gressoney, Residence-la-Marmotte would unquestionably be our choice! Thanks Luca!

The location is right next to the cable car. The apartment was big and clean. the staff was very kind.
We are a family of 5 and although we had 2 bathrooms, we had one big room with a double bed and three single beds. We would have preferred two separate rooms.

Residence Le Marmotte is in a very convenient location to the gondolas. The apartment we stayed in was nearly new, spacious and clean. it was well heated, nicely appointed, great bathrooms, and had extra conveniences like on-site parking, a washing machine and a full sized kitchen. Luca the host was really lovely and was there to meet us when we turned up late at night. Staffal is a small village so the apartment is very close to the gondolas, restaurants and the mini-market. It was perfect for our family.
There was nothing we didn’t like - It was all good - maybe another comfy chair for a rest after a long day skiing.

The apartment was comfortable and clean, with a kitchen and garden. Easy access to many summer activities in Staffal at the base of Monte Rosa, notably the hiking and biking trails. A small supermarket and washing machine for clothes was a short walk from the apartment.

Staff (Luca Bieler) was extremely and exceptionally helpful and friendly. The appt. (Bettaforca room) was roomy and pleasant to stay. I liked it all: nice kitchen, comfortable beds, functional and clean btchroom, TV, WiFi; all was very clean. I felt at home.
When we arrived there was a problem with the heating, which was quickly solved by Luca. However, we noticed that it took 7 hours to raise the temperature from 17 to 20 degrees, nothwithstanding the radiators were totally hot. Which makes me believe that outside summer it could be difficult to heat adequately. As an engineer, I was indeed puzzled by the small size of radiators for quite a substantial volume.

Location close to the main lift to both directions. Short, about 150 m walk to the lifts, ski in. Indoors parking. Small shop only 70 m away.
Icy, dangerous walkway to apartment with own front door. (The ones with the main entrance are fine)

The service when the cooker broke was very good.
There could have been one more comfortable armchair especially as we had gone up from basic to superior property.

We stayed 10 days at the hotel while skiing with family. We booked a spacious apartment for us 4 (No. 3, Staffal) but are not immediately satisfied considering the price. We felt a little fooled by the description.
The apartment certainly had everything the pictures showed but nothing more, it was not practical for a ski trip.
The kitchen had much to be desired, such as wineglasses, oven-safe molds, cutting board, knives, etc. We also lacked extra pillows, duvets and bedding, blankets and rugs on the cold stone floor.
The heat was an issue in itself, it pulled cold from the windows and patio doors, could not be controlled and there was no logic in when the elements were hot and not.
The bathroom was ok, but the shower drain was under all criticism and the hot water very unreliable. There was a washing machine but nowhere to hang the laundry on the dryer.
There was no staff at the front desk all week, neither at check-in nor check-out. No one in the place to ask about the above things.
The stairs to the entrance were under all criticism, full of ice and snow so that it could not be used. especially for me, who went on crutches after a ski injury.
The accommodation was ok, but not at all what we expected unfortunately.
