Le personnel était gentil
Pour commencer, ce n’est absolument pas un hôtel. C’est une chambre d’airbnb se trouvant dans une résidence sur-sécurisé très difficile d’accès! A savoir que les gardes ne nous ont pas du tout aidé afin de trouver le lieu.
De plus, notre petite chambre de 8m2 se trouvait dans une immense maison. La chambre dispose uniquement d’un lit donnant sur la salle de bain sans porte. Aucune intimité est présente.
Il vous sera possible dans cette expérience de faire faire vos besoins en face de la personne sur le lit !
Pas de volet ni de rideau, dès 5h30 vous vous faites réveiller par la lumière du soleil.
Comme nous pensions réserver un hôtel, les éléments de bases tels que : télé, frigo, poubelle, penderie, n’étaient pas disponibles.
Si vous venez a plusieurs, sachez qu’il est impossible d’ouvrir des valises simultanément.
Pour clôturer, problème d’évacuation des wc. Vos semences remontent à la surface.

We zijn er nooit aangekomen doordat niet duidelijk is dat je door security moet om er te komen. Security wist niks van deze Inn en liet ons niet binnen. Uiteindelijk was het na 22:00 en konden we blijkbaar sowieso niet het terrein op. Er staat inchecken tot 22:00, maar dat je daarna dus uberhaupt niet naar binnen kan (sleutelkastje, code of iets dergelijks) was niet duidelijk.
Wij hebben heel laat in de avond met onze zoon van 1 rond moeten rijden op zoek naar een ander betaalbaar verblijf en dus dubbele kosten moeten betalen voor de nacht.
Geen fijne eerste nacht in Mexico.

I had one more full day and wanted to shop for tourist items. This was a room in a home with a pool and wifi. Great. But it was in a gated residential community. There may have been a mall, but it was definitely out of the tourist area, with no little shops. There were restaurants, but all fine dining, making it more expensive. Still, they were within walking distance, with very nice Christmas decorations. And I had two 5-star meals. I had to ask twice for a teapot, but I did get it. And I just had to ask for more water. There was a beautiful pool, but too cold for me. I did use my down time catching up on some blogs.
I didn't realize that by staying close to the airport, the taxis were extremely expensive. I learned I will stay near the tourist area next time and pay the taxi price just once when I leave for the airport. If the weather had been more agreeable, I would have enjoyed the pool and relaxed in the sun.

Nous avons suivi l'adresse indiquée qui nous a emmené à la sécurité d'une grande résidence. Pas d'hôtel en vue.
Là, la sécurité à contacté "l'hôtel" afin d'avoir l'autorisation de nous laisser passer.
L'hôtel n'a jamais répondu. Nous l'avons appelé a plusieurs reprises avec nos téléphones, aucune réponse !
Nous avons alors cherché l'hôtel sur Google et l'avons trouvé (même numéro de téléphone etc) sauf qu'il porte la mention DÉFINITIVEMENT FERMÉ !
Nous avons donc dû chercher un autre hôtel en urgence !!!!

There's nothing amazing about this place, real joke and felt so ashamed that I stayed in such a repulsive place for two days. My 9 year son and I spent 10 nights in Mexico, travelling between Cancun and Monterrey. Two of those nights spent here put a dent in our holiday. It's a cubicle with an open toilet and shower. The room was never cleaned, no storage, nothing. We got filtered water the first night and no refills. I asked for milk for my son and was given half opened cartoon milk, who does that? I didn't bother using it. Breakfast was dried toast and cereal, was told it was "complimentary" and that the pool was too deep as opposed to what was advertised as as shallow end. We went on a Tour on the 1st day and on our way back at 5pm the Security made us wait for more than 10 mins for absolutely nothing and by the time we got to the room we were soaking wet because it poured heavily. No way to dry our clothes, had to travel back with wet clothes. Toilet doesn't flush properly, ants crawling everywhere. This place shouldn't be advertised on any booking website. Previous reviews and description on booking.com are absolutely misleading and it's painful because on these basis I booked this hideous place. It's not worth a cent.
Would like the owners to honestly say they can stay in such a place for two nights in the state they kept us?

Diane is a very nice and welcoming host, so she makes up for it. She drove us the couple blocks to a restaurant of which there were a lot of choices outside this gated community. This is a very safe location for staying in Cancun, and house is very nice. For extra cost we were driven to airport the next morning well in time or our flight.
This was a private residence without a restaurant which does not match the description. We were expecting a hotel with a pool and restaurant. Location was confusing to find. Took a while for the Uber driver to get through the gate security. We felt a bit awkward being in a bedroom of someone's house. If it had been a hotel, I would have probably just had an Uber take us to the airport for less cost then having host drive us.

Diane and Lenin were so nice and accommodating, they picked us up and dropped us off at the airport for a very reasonable fee and even dropped us off a great local restaurant. The room was super clean and comfortable, super comfortable bed, great wifi and shower, ac and close to many good restaurants and a 7 11 for bevvies and snacks. They also have a nice pool that looks like a cenote! We will definitely be back! 10 out of 10!😊
a little fridge in the room would be great but they had one available in a room by the pool for guest's use.

they offered thru the app lots of a maintenance, but the reality it’s other, on Booking.com shows a very nice lobby mini bar bathrobe etc, when you get ther they don’t let you use the lobby or any of the insides, there’s an old fridge on the back of the property

A really good B&B. The hosts were helpful and one of them speaks english. The room had a large comfortable bed, large bathroom, microwave and coffee maker. In the back of the house there was a fridge and kitchen to use. In the morning at 8AM we got breakfast in the room. It contained fruit and sweet cereals or a small pastry. The area was a nice gated community. When we were leaving they offered a ride to the airport for a good price.

Beautiful, clean, very close to the airport and with lots of restaurants to choose from. The staff was WONDERFUL, and our room was perfect: very clean and completely disinfected, with top quality sheets and pillows, great view, and very quiet. Lots of hot water, the shower had lots of pressure and the pool and gardens were gorgeous.
We will stay again, for sure!

Horrible - nothing that says in the description is true!!! It’s a fraud.
It’s not a Hotel - it’s only one super small room inside a mansion!!!
To start with, you only get a really small room (it’s way not the 45m2 that are mentioned in the description) with a bathroom. There is nothing else inside the room, the “kitchen” is outside at the back of the house, everything extremely dirty so it’s impossible to use it.
You get the “breakfast” whenever the Owner of the house wakes up. Don’t expect too much, you will get 2 bananas.
We stayed for 5 nights and not even one time they cleaned our room, we didn’t even get enough toilet paper. (Although the owners have their own cleaning lady for their mansion, they just don’t care about their guests apparently)
We booked this “hotel” ( as I mentioned it’s a private house ) especially because they accept pets ( with extra charge). So the lady told me that the cats are not allowed to go on the bed (but the bed filled the hole room). One day while we were out she entered the room and apparently the cat was on the bed (obviously, it’s an animal not a human) so she told me she won’t give us back the deposit that we had to leave at the beginning to clean the sheets of the bed.
❗️❗️❗️She said I should have left my cats in their small transport box the hole day while I am not there to avoid that they go on the bed. That’s animal cruelty!!!! 😡 😡😡
In the shower there is warm water for max. 1 minute ( and that in one of the best zone of Cancun?!?!?) It’s very difficult to enter the zone, you have to pass by a security and every day you have to wait very long to enter, really annoying.
For the money they charge you can find something way better 😉

Beautiful hotel, perfect location close to everything. We had the king studio in front of the pool and it was delicious to come out of our room and jump into the pool. We loved it!
The staff was great, the place was very clean, the A/C was very cold, and it was really easy to get to the beach from the hotel. What else could we ask for?
Really, from the bottom of our hearts we want to thank the staff of the Amaz hotel, for all their kindness and friendliness.

We loved this boutique hotel!
First: the location is unbeatable, close to the airport yet close to everything. Literally there are more than a hundred restaurants, cafes, market, etc, within walking distance. We stayed for a week and ate at a different place each day, all really good.
The hotel is EXTREMELY CLEAN.
The staff is very friendly, the best we have encountered in all our travels.
We basically had the huge pool all to ourselves.
This place is a gem, highly recommended!

Distance from the airport.
Even though we reserved with late arrival (confirmed between 11PM and
midnigth),noone answered the phone when we called the first time at 11h45PM. The lodge is in a private residential area, surveyed by a private security company. When we arrived at the guards they pretended not to know the lodge, they told us it was not in that residence and they did not want to let us in. So we kept on searching, Googled on internet but couldn't find neither the name of the lodge and the street. After 30 minutes we approached a policemen, who tried to help us but neither didn't know the address, called a colleague and had lively discussions in Spanisch with him. After another half an hour they finally brought us back to the same residential area, discussed 10 minutes with the guard who finally let us in. When we arived at the house the door was open but no one in. After much hesitation we finally entered the house and found two bedrooms prepared but no note indicating it was for us. After having traveled for more than 24 hours we decided to go to sleep. It was meanwhile almost 2AM... The next morning a man came in, handing over his phone and I could talk to the owner. She stated that she waited until midnight. Also that there is no breakfast included even though Booking.com claims breakfast is included when you're a Genius member (which we are). She also told me tourists already rent rooms there for many years but the guards sometimes pretend not to know anything..!
All in all a bad experience to start our trip to Mexico, the description and address on Booking.com are not correct, the breakfast is not included and the facility is clean but very basic. Good as a place to sleep when arriving in Cancun after a long travel from abroad, but it stops there. Be care for late arrivals.

The description is completely misleading. This is not a hotel, but a house in a gated residential area, distant from all. They give the option for breakfast, making believe that there is a restaurant or cafeteria in place. There is NOTHING! The rooms of the house are rented individually, but we were all alone, nobody in place to organise at least a taxi or give indications. The pool was filthy and not in use, so we were changed to another house. There the pool was ok, but it was all run down. I did not have the room with twin beds and balcony that I had booked and had to share the bed with my teenage daughter. This is a tourist trap! Avoid it!
