Wonderful stay

Excelent choice if you want an agreeable holiday to relax on the eastern side. The court- surrounded by animals and trees; staff with good vibes, heart-opened and well informed. Restaurant with tasty food. This was our best stay in Costa Rica !

Die Suiten und die Lage sind super! Das Personal ist überaus freundlich.

Beim Frühstück ist nur ein Saft, ein Heißgetränk und ein Gericht samt Früchte inbegriffen! Wenn man dann noch z.B ein Joghurt will, wird das verrechnet. Bei einem 5 Sterne Hotel mit entsprechendem Preis unverständlich, auch wenn wir satt wurden.

Estadía hecha un arte

Todo es fabuloso. El servicio de restaurante, el desayuno, la atención del personal, las camas, los muebles hechos una obra de arte. Todo absolutamente todo es inolvidable. Conozco la mitad del mundo y este hotel es de los mejores. Los invito a visitarlo. Nos hicieron un regalo por nuestro aniversario

Un hospedaje hermoso para disfrutar un tiempo de relajación.

La atención de todo el personal fue muy atenta y cordial, el desayuno muy rico, las instalaciones hermosas y bien cuidadas, el espacio de parqueo disponible, la habitación muy cómoda con bastantes amenidades disponibles.

A lovely property, but stay slightly overshadowed by very loud construction noise.

Lovely room, we enjoyed the outdoor shower a lot. Beautifully designed hotel. Very lovely bar and pool area (though see below) and the cocktails and food were excellent.

There was very loud construction on the property when we stayed - you could not hear it from the beach, but it did make the pool virtually unusable during the day (the weather wasn’t great and the bar area was really the only nice area to sit, so it was quite an issue for us). We were a bit disappointed that the noise was not acknowledged and full price was charged (it’s an expensive hotel). The location is nice if you are looking for seclusion, but it’s a bit of a walk into town - not an issue for us but something to be aware of. The beach is not ideal for swimming, though nice to sit on when dry.

Great location and very clean... beds were freakin amazing! Staff was super friendly and helpful as well.

Beware if you rent any of the Pavlova suites... they back up directly to the main road so there's a few that can be pretty load with traffic during the day. However, during the night it dies down and gets really quiet.

Wonderful staff create a wonderful experience

The staff is spectacular and goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome and comfortable. The beach access is fantastic, and both restaurants (at the resort and at the beach) offer wonderful food and drink. There are also restaurants within comfortable walking distance, as well as horseback riding and the jaguar sanctuary. Hotel staff will work with guests to plan excursions, activities, and transportation as needed. I really cannot emphasize enough the superior service provided by the hard working staff! The location is gorgeous and relatively quiet, as it's a couple miles from town. A terrific spot for nature lovers or anyone who wants a calmer Caribbean experience near the convenience of a rather lively town. There was even a sloth sighting as it returned to one of the trees on the property!

The location is great but can be a bit limiting if you don't have transportation. While the hotel does offer bicycles for guest use, this amenity does not help if you are entirely uncoordinated! Also, despite confirming private airport shuttle charge, the charge was a bit higher than the confirmed rate provided by the reservation team. It was not a huge difference, but there was some confusion when I asked about it.
