The position was amazing, in the heart of Paris and it was comfortable to reach all the services (metro, restaurants,...) even on foot. Then, the apartment is really very quiet
I think when one rents an apartment expect to find -in the total price, of course- everything that is needed for living there, for example soap\shower gel\shampoo\dish soap\dishwasher soap\washing machine detergent,... It is not possible to rent an apartment and have to go straight to the supermarket for a 4 day staying -and then have all the remaining detergents in the suitcase

The apartment was quirky with all it's steps, but completely charming. The kitchen is well stocked with dishware, cutlery, and tools, but it does not have an oven. The microwave had the capability to steam, so it may have had a convection oven setting. I didn't investigate this.
The Booking.com listing did not state it, but the apartment has a washer AND SEPARATE DRYER in a little room off the downstairs bedroom.
A water closet containing a toilet and a small sink is upstairs from the main foyer, and the shower with large sink is downstairs with access through the bedroom.
The pull out couch was surprisingly comfortable and the bedding provided was heavy and of excellent quality.
The downstairs bedroom is quite dark with the outdoor shutters closed and the interior blinds shut...quite conducive for good sleep.
The location is marvelous. The street it is on is safe and busy, but not noisy. There is a well stocked Franprix grocery store just around the corner and several fruit markets, Patisseries and Boulangeries just steps away from the entry.
Rambuteau Metro is one block away. Hotel de Ville is a little further towards Seine, but still quite walkable.
The apartment is quite safe and secure. There is a locked door from the street to an ante room, and another locked interior door to the courtyard. Access is gained by a security fob. The front door has a double depth deadbolt and latch that will lock behind you.
3 women stayed and all felt safe and comfortable with plenty of space to unpack, stretch out and have a marvelous stay.
I would definitely consider booking the "Up and Down apartment" the next time I am heading to Paris.
We did have an issue with the rain showerhead coming loose and shower draining slowly/clogging, but Gregory got someone over to fix the issues and they didn't derail our stay.
The foyer lights are attached to the upstairs bathroom, so either you turn on all the lights or go to the bathroom in the dark (not recommended with the steep stairs).
To remedy this, we used a little desk lamp that was in the apartment. At night we plugged it into the socket outside the Water closet (there isn't an outlet inside) and set the desk lamp on a ledge below the sink. This solution worked great as a nightlight and bathroom light without having to wake whomever was sleeping in the pullout bed whenever someone had to use the toilet.

the apartment lacks of lights a bit

Location is very good with nearby shops, restaurants and close to Ille de la Cite. Giovanna, who welcomed us was very helpful and friendly. The flat was quiet, well equipped with most of what you need - except aircon when its 35C outside.
The flat is a bit awkward - it is split between four levels (hence the name). The bedroom and shower is in the basement, the toilet is on its own level from the ground level and the kitchen on another. The wifi was unavailable in the basement. While the flat was well equipped there were no expendables you need like dishwasher tabs, coffee filter papers, washing-up liquid, hand soap etc. There was at least loo paper!

Location was good
It is not clean, not comfortable, badroom and bath was like closed swimming pool.
7.9
location was wonderful
Three-level apartment not clear from details in booking. The hosts can and should be more accommodating and service-minded.
